Overcoming complex deployment has improved cloud cost control and automated security checks

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

In our organization, the main use case for using Hyperglance for up to 5,000 sources is to optimize the cost of the cloud by identifying wastage and right-sizing the resources. Apart from that, we also ensure to monitor the security and compliance part with automatic checks and alerts for any kind of violations which may be due to a policy. We also ensure to automate the remediation actions for identified issues. We also improve the efficiency related to operations. Hyperglance connects well whether it is AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes and works well with everything.

How has it helped my organization?

Hyperglance has helped us to save on the cost of cloud through waste reduction. We have saved around 38% in cloud cost. Apart from that, it has also helped us to improve the efficiency of the work by enabling real-time compliance checks with around 78% time saving, which was reported by our teams. It has also enhanced visibility and automates the fixing of costly misconfigurations and security breaches, which further boosted our ROI on system failures and technology breaches.

What is most valuable?

We have been using Hyperglance for quite a while now, but the features which I personally feel are my personal favorites are that it supports a multi-cloud environment. It can work over Azure, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes APIs for management unification. Apart from that, it also provides good real-time visualization, interactive diagrams, and dependency mapping for all the resources, which is a great thing. If we are able to map the dependencies at the right time, we are able to identify any issues. It also helps us to automate the recommendations for cost savings, trend analysis, and anomaly detection, which is again a great thing. Codeless automations for fixing common issues and optimizing resources is again a great feature of Hyperglance.

What needs improvement?

The initial deployment of Hyperglance requires configuration, network access, and permission for cloud APIs, which can be complex for large, multi-account environments. The initial setup and deployment could be a bit challenging.

The setup process of Hyperglance could be easier, and the configuration of network access and permissions for cloud APIs could be done in a more streamlined manner.

The deployment of Hyperglance was a bit tricky as it required network accesses and permissions for the cloud APIs. Our organization had multiple servers and everything was there, so it was a bit challenging for us. That can be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

In my organization, we have been using Hyperglance for almost six years now.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability of Hyperglance is good. It can definitely handle enterprise-level traffic.

How are customer service and support?

Hyperglance customer support is very good. We had a word with them three months back when there was an issue with the configuration with one of the systems and they were really prompt and resolved our issue within 45 minutes, which was a very great thing.

I give the customer support a 10 for the customer service.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Hyperglance, we did not use any solutions. This is the first time we have used this solution.

How was the initial setup?

Hyperglance integration is very good. It is getting integrated with other solutions and we do not feel any kind of glitches or connection errors while connecting with other APIs or applications.

What was our ROI?

We have definitely saved on the time we invested. Operational efficiency increased by 78%. Visibility and automation provided by Hyperglance have helped to prevent costly misconfigurations and security breaches, which further boosted our rate of investment by 38%. We have also saved on cloud cost, around 30% to 35%.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Hyperglance metering and billing experience is a great thing. As Hyperglance is a resource pricing-based model based on the number of cloud resources we are using, in this case up to 5,000, it is not a percentage of your cloud bill. It offers predictable and upfront pricing with no hidden fees, which makes it easy to forecast the cost, and we can easily manage them.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We evaluated other options before choosing Hyperglance. We evaluated CloudHealth by VMware, Turbonomic by IBM, Flexera Cloud Management, and CloudZero. Out of them, we found that the cost, security, and the multi-cloud environment is better here, so that is why we chose Hyperglance.

What other advice do I have?

Hyperglance is a great solution to use and it basically gives us this transparency over the billing and other costs, as it is based on the resource-based model. As we fluctuate the usage, we can increase the number of resources and go with that. It also offers a 14-day free trial to evaluate the platform before committing, which is a great thing. I am interested in analyst insights about other solutions. I have provided a review rating of 4 for this solution.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

What do you like best about the product?
Hyperglance provides me with a straightforward, real-time overview of my whole cloud environment without adding unnecessary complexity. I find the visual topology particularly useful, as it enables me to quickly identify issues, grasp how resources are connected, and monitor both security and cost risks. Another aspect I appreciate is its ability to operate across multiple clouds without requiring agents, which simplifies both the initial setup and continued use.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, the interface can seem a bit overwhelming due to the sheer amount of information displayed on the screen. It takes a while to become familiar with all the features, and the initial learning curve is somewhat steep. I would also appreciate quicker updates to certain integrations, but overall, these are relatively minor concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance allows me to quickly grasp what’s going on across my cloud environments without the hassle of searching through several different consoles. Its automatic highlighting of security and compliance issues not only saves me time but also lowers the chance of overlooking something critical. The visual topology feature speeds up troubleshooting, as I can immediately see how all components are linked. In general, it enhances visibility, cuts down on manual tasks, and helps maintain a cleaner, more secure cloud setup.

  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] is used in our organization to visualize, manage, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructures. It is very efficient and effective while we do that. Cloud cost optimization is what we use it for in the primary way, along with resource visualizations, and security and compliance monitoring. Ensuring that the cloud infrastructures meet the industry security and compliance standards is something very useful that Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] provides.

Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] helps businesses monitor their cloud cost in real time by visualizing where money is being spent and identifying opportunities to reduce waste. It also provides actionable recommendations to optimize cloud expenses. This is especially valuable in environments with complex and large-scale deployments, allowing us to track and manage the cloud spending across multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Managing resources across multiple cloud platforms in a single interface is a significant advantage with Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go]. In our companies, we are using multiple cloud providers to avoid vendor lock-in, and this allows us to manage and optimize resources across all these platforms in one place.

What is most valuable?

The cost optimization and management features of Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] are quite beneficial. Other than that, resource visualization and management are valuable, and the security features including security monitoring and compliance are also something good. Automated evaluations for optimizations and multi-cloud resource management are some of the main features which have been helpful.

Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] has positively impacted our organization through cost reduction for data workloads. In our company, we are running large-scale data tasks, such as machine learning models training on AWS EC2 instances, and we noticed escalating costs over time due to high-performance instances being used for non-intensive tasks. Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] provided a visual representation of our cloud resources and usage, showing which EC2 instances were underutilized or overprovisioned. It recommended resizing the instances based on actual usage, which led to a reduction of 30% to 35% in cloud spending. The company was able to optimize instance types for data preprocessing and training, significantly lowering the compute cost without sacrificing performance. This helped our projects to keep within budget.

What needs improvement?

Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] needs to make the user experience more effective, especially for data science and tech teams. There are a few key areas for improvement. The current limitations in Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] are heavily focused on cloud environments and may not offer the same visibility in hybrid infrastructure. Better hybrid integrations can be added, for example, with data centers, local storage, and private servers. More granular resource-level metrics for data science applications would excel the visualization for cloud resources. The cost forecasting and budgeting tools are available, but the predictive analytics can be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

In my current field, I have been working for two and a half years. Earlier I was an intern, and I have converted to full-time in the past nine months.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] scales well for our team. The resource scale pricing available through AWS Marketplace seems good. The UI performance, resource count pricing, and the initial setup complexities were very good. As our project size grows, Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] helps us to keep them under control from a financial perspective. We will need to monitor how quickly our infrastructure is growing and then ensure our implementation is also resourced, planned, and handled with clarity.

How are customer service and support?

Customer support for Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] is proactive and helps us to achieve everything. Even with simple questions, they help us to work through things, and the support has been very proactive. Customer support is very active and good, and I would rate it a nine out of ten. It is very supportive, and the team has helped us from setup through any issues we face.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We switched from a different company to Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] for better resource visibility and optimization. The previous solution had streamlined cloud cost management, but Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] offered more simplified compliance and security monitoring. We made the switch for cost savings, efficiency gains, and real-time visibility.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The subscription fee for Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] was around $180 to $200. We have been using the enterprise plans for our organization. We have around 5,000 per month, and we can spend more because the scope of usage requires different support levels. With GCP, we used it on different platforms, and the cost was around 3,000, depending on the size of the team we are working with and the complexity we are building.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

The other options we considered were Cloud by VMware, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management and Billing, and Spot.io, which is Spot by NetApp. However, we started with Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go].

What other advice do I have?

Wherever cloud is being used and teams want to make efficient compliance in that particular organization, Hyperglance: Up to 5000 Resources [Pay as you go] is effective for the entire team because it has everything from real-time instances to clusters and storage, and everything would be covered. I would rate this product a nine out of ten.

  • July 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like best about Hyperglance is its clear visual map of our entire cloud environment. At Zoho, it helps us instantly spot misconfigurations, security gaps and unused resources without digging through multiple dashboards. The auto-generated diagram and real-time alerts make cloud monitoring less stressful and way more efficient. its like having a birds eye view of everything running super helpful for keeping our system clean, cost effective and compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing i dislike about Hyperglance is that the inteface can feel a bit overwhelming at first , especially for new team members who are not used to cloud architecture diagrams. it takes some time to get comfortable with all the features also the pricing can be a bit high for smaller teams or startup even though the value is there, A lighter version with just core features would be helpful for teams that dont need the full suit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance helps us solve a big problem we used to face at our company, keeping track of cloud resources across multiple accounts and regions before we had to manually check for unused VMs , security gaps and compliance issues which was time consuming and easy to muss, Now with Hyperglance we get automated visibility and alerts that helps us clean up unnecessary cost , spot misconfigurations faster and stay compliant with out internal IT policies .
