Excellent product and support team
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Drata centralizes everything needed for our SOC2 report. The templates have also been beneficial. We have been working with Tayler Gase, who is fantastic and keeps us on track!
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly have yet to find any downsides to using Drata.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us achieve SOC2 compliance. Drata provides the integrations with background checks, policy templates, security training, and platform for our users to complete the above. They also provide the platform for our auditor to monitor us.

Incredible service and support
What do you like best about the product?
Elise! She has been a true partner to us in helping us to organize our work and provide resources. We could not have made the progress we've made without her. Tony has provided us with great clarity on control requirements and made it a point to understand our business so that he can provide guidance that is directly relevant to our market.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we haven't experienced any difficulties.

Excellent Experience, Security Automation at its best!
What do you like best about the product?
Drata truly puts security compliance on autopilot. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate through. With the help of Drata, we have been able to transform our internal compliance processes holistically. Drata has brought repeatability and scalability to our processes. Our CSM, Laci White, is knowledgeable and always eager to help. Laci always goes above and beyond to help us with feature requests and get them prioritized. We couldn't have cleared our audits without her help, support and assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a dislike, but reports/docs and audit hub could use some updates i.e., Be able to upload renewal docs as replacements without having to delete the old expired docs first. Another nice to have will be step-by-step help docs on how to use the audit hub.

Drata was the difference maker for our compliance program
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike other platforms, Drata's integrations are actually used to automate data gathering. Their support and responsive account managers are hands down the best that our company has worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of their document or policy management features are a little bit clunky, but they've already released features to address some of this and the remaining things we've encountered already have improvements planned in their public roadmap.

Drata creates organization out of the chaos that is our fully remote cloud-native SaaS company. We offer our own SaaS products, so SOC 2 and ISO compliance are critical to our customers.
We transitioned from a competitor's platform to Drata this year. We essentially reimplemented our entire compliance process and started and finished our SOC 2 Type I audit in less than three months.
We had gotten absolutely nowhere in 9 months on our other platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata is an well-designed and easy-to-use platform. It provides an easy way to monitor control compliance continuously, centralizing and streamlining all things to support external audits that make keeping an eye on compliance status so easy! So many improvements and new features have been added since we started using them. They listen to their customers and understand where to focus their effort. The updates often exceed our expectations, especially how fast some releases were deployed after we shared our feedback.
Besides the platform, the Customer Services and the Audit and Compliance support are also exceptional! They didn't just sign us up and leave us. Every CSMs who supported us are always helpful, knowledgable, attentive and easy to work with. I love working with them and cannot imagine how we can manage security compliance efficiently not having a tool like Drata. Thank you Erin, Fox, Craig, Tony, Troy and many others behind the scene for your support!!

What do you dislike about the product?
I am really happy with the product, but it will be the policies pdf rendering if I have to pick one thing. You cannot customize it with your format, logo, page number, etc. and it does not pull in the actual approval date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata provides a framework for our compliance audits/certification journey and a platform for day-to-day security control monitoring. It is great to have a centralized view to support continuous internal controls monitoring and external audits and reporting.
Very good price and product
What do you like best about the product?
I think they do a great job on the automation of most controls and the tracking of seeing if people is in compliance. They also have the tracking and vendor section that is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I would like more things automated, specially some reports like the Statement of Applicability or get more option when working on the vendor section, still pretty manual work, but easy to have one source of truth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating most of the compliance process, but it is tricky with some of the cloud compliance since not all of the automations work so some work still had to be done manually. But the other ones, specially the team in compliance works and is extremely helpful

The dashboard always shows status and next steps.

Getting employee buy in, an updated instructional video would be great.

As a medium sized business with enterprise clients, we needed to become SOC 2 compliant quickly. Drata guided this process and allowed us to share with clients
Great Platform, Great Team
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is well laid out, and settings and configurations are easy to change. Integrations are straightforward. Our success partner, Laci, is great to work with. Very thorough and detail-oriented.

Would like to see additional Vendor Risk capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
The Drata platform makes it a lot easier to check your systems to ensure that you're following best practices for ISO and SOC2 compliance/audit. The workstation monitoring agent is simple to deploy and use, and non intrusive.
Policy management is also greatly simplified, easily allowing you to map to controls and manage the lifecycle.
It's not panacea, and doesn't do "everything" for you, what it does is bring all the relevant information together to give you a more wholistic view of your current security posture. It's an integral part of the arsenal of any GRC and security professional.
Also, their onboarding process is fantastic. Our account manager was there every step of the way with helpful advice, chasing down answers to tricky questions and checking in to make sure we were set up for success.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little tricky to navigate sometimes, but it can be a challenge when you're trying to bring so many disparate services together. It's not a major issue by any stretch, and I take no points off for this. Once you get into the swing if it, these "issues" disappear into the background of how helpful the overall platform can be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to have an overall view of our policy management and enforcement. Drata is extremely helpful in this.

What do you like best about the product?
The whole experience with Drata has been first-class and they have differentiators every step of the way. We evaluated a competitor, and it was night and day difference from pre-sales, to onboarding, assigning a CSM, live compliance chats with an amazing SLA, and their established partnerships, we've received first-class customer service and response rates every step of the way. Having Drata, aka Sherpa, with us has made seeking SOC2 attestation an easy task on a small team, and we greatly appreciate the partnership.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not run across a negative side of Drata to this point. They've been able to answer every question we've come up with. We haven't yet explored the partnership side of things too in depth, but plan on doing so in very near future.

Ensuring that our customers know that we put a primary focus on security and related controls is tantamount in today's business environment. We have already seen operational cost efficiencies in on-boarding and off-boarding due to automation and monitoring of controls.
