Fantastic product and support
What do you like best about the product?
Drata makes going through SOC 2 certification almost fun! Very clear interface, logical flow of what needs to be done, dashboard for the overall health of the project etc. The company constantly adds new features and all of them really spot on. All this plus an exceptional customer support. Access to a chat with knowledgable human during extended business hours and customer success manager who goes far and beoynd to assure the success of project (pun intended). I am genuinly enjoying to use them for our SOC 2 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Gotchas like not supporting contractors with a different email domain, but those are minor issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a startup with naturally limited resources. Having Drata by our side makes getting SOC 2 certified possible.

What do you like best about the product?
Their customer service is great! They are always attentive, responsive in a timely manner and always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the platform is not so stable right now as I receive errors when using basic workflows there. I think they can improve on that, and it's being improved already, that's why we continue to use it :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us be proactive in achieving security monitoring and on the ISO27001 certification.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata's ability to connect to all our systems (HRIS, Identity, Infrastrastructure, Version Control, Issue Management) and monitor our security and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
No API to export data about our security and compliance status, no API to configure Drata remotely, no terraform provider to follow the IaC principle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 and ISO270k audit

Engagement and support from Ali, easy use, excellent support by the team, and automation are fabulous, and the team is very supportive.

cannot think of any, all good, easy to use, excellent support.

SOC2 compliance, making the process very efficient from start to reaching the finishing line.

Drata helps automate SOC2 and has great customer sucess
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is completely automated. It makes achieving SOC 2 compliance easy, even for a non-technical person like me. The user interface is great, as are the policies that Drata makes for you. Plus, their customer services is phenomenal. We feel halped and supported all the time (huge shout out to Ali here!). From minute one Drata has been helpful to us. It's allowed us to get all of our SOC 2 checks in order, and to quicken the speed at which we complete our security reviews. They have also introduced us to certain tools that we should be using, like Certn for background checks. To me, Drata helps make SOC 2 compliance more attainable and not seem like such a huge hurdle. We have found Drata to be really easy to integrate with our systems, so that it can run its automated checks. For us, the entire process has been really easy, and I can't imaginge working towards SOC 2 compliance without Drata.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that comes to mind, as we really like Drata and it is perfectly addressing our use case. I would have no concerns recommending Drata to someone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us acheive SOC 2 complaince. We have realized so many benefits. We now have so many policies, plus we have a clear view of exactly what we need to do to achieve SOC 2 compliance. It's fast, easy to use, and generally just awesome!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would start your SOC 2 journey as soon as possible. Drata is a great solution to do so!

Nothing, so far! I do appreciate everything we have utilized so far.

We can view all aspects of our employees' security in one place within drata which solves our problems with having multiple documents housing that information

Capturing security certification reports of all vendors is a manual task, maybe this can be automated as well!

SOC 2 Using Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Drata helps provide clarity to a very ambiguous process that helped us streamline our efforts to improve our security posture and make efficient progress towards SOC 2 certification. It's pretty fun to use as you can see the progress quickly in the application, and you can easily spread out the work amongst the staff so that everyone can take ownership of their tasks. It provides helpful guidance in the application, and our account manager is always responsive to our questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints. Drata is frequently releasing updates, and they are responsive to any bumps in the road that we've run into in the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps provide best practices for business and security processes that we might not have spelled out by providing templates of policies and guidance on controls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using Drata for SOC 2. We committed as an organization to the process as we knew it would be valuable to our clients and potential customers and Drata certainly streamlined that process for us a smaller entrepreneurial organization. Drata guided us efficiently since we did not have dedicated in-house experienced security resources.

Drata's hyper-focus on the customer is why they have succeeded in building a great platform and why they have quickly become one of our most trusted partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, at this point. Drata is focused on what matters, so the platform may not seem as configurable to those looking for very tailored functionality or workflows. For us, the focus is a benefit as too many options creates noise and blockers to adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a young company and were looking for a partner/platform to help us manage security/compliance and help us prepare for SOC 2. Drata not only helped us achieve those goals but became an extension of our team and program.
