Arctic Wolf: The Security Superheroes We Didn't Know We Needed!
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Arctic Wolf is their unwavering commitment to our security. Their solutions are not only effective but also seamlessly integrated into our operations, making our lives so much easier. The staff, especially our Customer Success Representatives, have been phenomenal. Their proactive approach and insightful recommendations have significantly improved our security posture. Plus, their friendly and professional demeanor makes every interaction a pleasure. It's like having a team of security superheroes on our side!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only thing I dislike about Arctic Wolf is that they haven't figured out how to make coffee magically appear during our meetings. If they could add that feature, they'd be perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf is tackling our cybersecurity challenges by providing top-notch threat detection and response. Their solutions help us stay ahead of potential threats, keeping our data safe and secure. Plus, their team is super responsive and always ready with great advice, making our lives a lot easier and giving us peace of mind.
The reason I sleep at night.
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf is more than just a great set of cybersecurity services, they're a member of our team. A member that is always working on improving itself and never sleeps. Their concierge team helps keep your cybersecurity program on track while giving you the peace of mind that they always have your back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience with the Arctic Wolf Team keeps improving so I'm purely nitpicking here but they could do a better job of calling my team out on tasks in our court that we fail to accomplish in a timely manner. They consistently remind us, but don't be afraid to push a little more. We can take it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our business grows and the digital landscape changes with an increase in cyber security compliance, we found ourselves lacking in a few areas. Our biggest gap being threat detection, especially outside of standard business hours. We had many tools and solutions in place but not a proper XDR/SIEM and team to run it. Arctic Wolf came in, took over and gave us an enterprise SoC at a cost that we could not internally beat. And since then, has become a vital member of our technical team. Providing insights and assurance that go well beyond our initial goals at the time.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Arctic Wolf's extensive range of integration options, which we've leveraged to seamlessly connect both our on-premise and SaaS environments. The personalized guidance and security expertise offered by the concierge team has been invaluable, offering tailored insights that help us optimize our security operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming from the Mimecast Security Awareness platform, the offering from Arctic Wolf is lacking in customization and the portal is clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf's MDR service has provided comprehensive security monitoring and incident response capabilities, significantly enhancing our organization's security posture. The managed security awareness program has been particularly well received by our employees, and the automated scheduling of training sessions has not only streamlined our processes but also freed up IT resources for strategic initiatives.
Amazing experience
What do you like best about the product?
Artic Wolf is very thorough when explaining technical questions & bringing up concerns they have located within our network.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the vulnerabilities that are listed are false positives, but its better to have too many listed than not enough of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Artic Wolf is constantly scanning our network for vulnerabilities & bad practices. This keeps our network safe so we are less likely to be attacked.

there are various ways to get reports generated with the required information you need

Sometimes the information can be too much or to granular, but can adjusted quickly.

Peace of mind with 24x7 Managed SOC
What do you like best about the product?
Always have humans monitoring the security of our network & applications. Removes the need for multiple FTEs with dedicated focus on Cybersecurity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Risk dashboard could use some improvements. Filtering options help once you get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security monitoring for our environment, and Awareness training/testing for end-users. I don't need to have multiple engineers on my team dedicated to cybersecurity. The "microdose" style of Awareness training has been working very well, with positive reviews from users. The short 3-5min videos monthly are far more effective than the old-fashioned 30min annual training. Keeps security top of mind for our users, and phishing test stats reflect that effectiveness. Our failure rates have gone from 20% to under 8% in the 2 years since implementing.
Security Monitoring Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I brought Arctic Wolf into the last two companies I have worked for. The previous company had around 100 employees, and I needed help meeting PCI and SOC2 monitoring, detection, and response requirements. After reviewing the costs to accomplish those needs in-house, I started looking for partners that could fill that niche. Arctic Wolf was cost-competitive but the real selling point for me was their footprint, implementation, communication, and relationship. Arctic Wolf easily fulfilled my compliance requirements and strengthened our security presence. Any questions or requests I had were quickly responded to and addressed. I had multiple instances of moving targets in relation to PCI compliance, where Artic Wolf was able to help me identify vulnerabilities or concerns between an initial PCI scan and a re-scan.
At Silk Road Medical, they also had a monitoring, detection, and response need that was too expensive to bring in-house. While my responsibilities were not security, audit, or compliance-focused at Silk Road Medical, I introduced Arctic Wolf to my peers. Throughout Artic Wolf's relationship with Silk Road Medical, I participated in the onboarding implementation and the monthly and quarterly touchpoints.
At Silk Road Medical, they also had a monitoring, detection, and response need that was too expensive to bring in-house. While my responsibilities were not security, audit, or compliance-focused at Silk Road Medical, I introduced Arctic Wolf to my peers. Throughout Artic Wolf's relationship with Silk Road Medical, I participated in the onboarding implementation and the monthly and quarterly touchpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I disliked about Arctic Wolf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With multiple offices, colocatcion facility, and multiple networks, the need for monitoring, detection, and response was too expensive to bring in house. The required staff and tools to manage internally were considerably more expensive that Artic Wolf.
MDR/MR, dependable support, and counsel.
What do you like best about the product?
We have seemingly constant contact with Arctic Wolf, with consistent / accurate monitoring as well as regular meetings with the AWN team to review both our AWN and infrastructure configurations to improve our monitoring ability of risks and to reduce risks within our infrastructure. AWN brings topics to each meeting if we don't have anything pressing we would like to discuss, offering potential areas of improvement or areas where risk is being found or exploited in the industry for us to consider including remediation steps and guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some missing or lacking integration options, though in a roundabout way we have coverage in all of these areas. There is no direct integration with Varonis, SonicWall NSM, or Auvik to name a few--there are solutions for these products that do work, just take a bit more work without a direct native integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are not a large enough organization to warrant a dedicated security team, and with AWN we have a whole team dedicated to both monitoring our environment as well as consulting and advising our security practices, configuration, and responding to vulnerabilities being exploited in the wild.
Strong Relationship
What do you like best about the product?
The relationship that we have developed with them. Their customer support is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real down side is cost. However, they are not far off from other vendors in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf helps to keep our accounts secure. I appreciate their quick response to unusual log in activity and the security bulletins they send out.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
It's a one stop shop for all my security and risk needs including security awareness training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the pricing wasn't quite so high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our workforce is on the older side, having peace of mind that security events will be caught by Arctic Wolf and the ongoing Security Awareness Training has been great for us.
