Flexible, Easy to Use - All in one ETL Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Rivery is in charge of 90% of our ETLs - from the connection to the orchestration.
With a simple onboarding, you can save your business money in terms of development, maintenance & monitoring resources and get your data in a smooth and reliable way.

What do you dislike about the product?
Rivers lineage is a must!
The UI can use some improvements, be easier to navigate and alter stuff.

Developing various connections, maintaining and monitoring them,

ability to not only integrate with platforms but also with databases and and using API calls and recently python scripts

I could use more connectors, as many there are already there are many more we can use

Too much clicking and scrolling. Sometimes there are problems with out of the box connector that have to be fixed with Python containers or API actions

I don't have to write code to connect, transform or maintain any process.

As a PPC agency, all the sources we need have built-in connectors in rivery, and it's easy to download most of the reports we need.
The ETL stage is very comfortable, all I need is to write an SQL query - amazing!

What do you dislike about the product?
When there's a new API / platform in rivery - there are more bugs than I wish to come across. I know it's impossible to have zero bugs, but sometimes it feels too much.

Very useful tool for BI teams
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very friendly. Generally, it has good performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't run a single step inside a logic with multiple steps. I have to turn off all the steps and then return it back. It's very uncomfortable and a huge disadvantage of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crating ETLs very easily, and can provide us with all the tools to manage our data inside the team with any assistance from other developer teams in the company.

Intuitive interface, and effortless onboarding for users with little to no experience with ETL tools.
Pre-made kits for most common use cases can really help speed up the delivery process.
With the addition of the ability to write custom Python code, the tool's capabilities have been greatly enhanced.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is relatively weak community support, doesn't support streaming data pipelines, can get expensive for frequently updated pipelines, and has a very limited governance dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building ELT pipelines using Snowflake as a target DB.

Easy tool to use, Good documentation to help with setup, Very happy with the Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Rivery was recommended to us by one of our IT consultants. The connections to sources and targets were easy to set up, but most modern ELT/ETL tool setups are easy now.
The feature that stood out for us was their logic river. Instead of working through a timing schedule for our runs, the logic river gave us the ability to set a time for the first run and the river knows to run the next set after the first one completes its run.
I also really like the detail in the error logs. It gives us the ability to troubleshoot on our own, although their customer service is also very good.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little expensive depending on your needs as they charge by data flow.
The pricing isn't easy to decipher. They charge for usage, not rows but their credit system is confusing. Ask for an estimate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to get data from various sources into our analytics database for transformation work or sharing data with other systems and dashboards. Rivery is a good tool for a modern data system.
Easy to use, friendly UI
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to configure rivers and manage the output. I like that we can connect to various data sources and don't have to write the API calls by ourselves. It gives a solid and reliable running also. Customer service is really good as well, they provided solution within 4 hours, and it wasn't a one liner issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that could be updated. For example, it would be great to integrate with Slack to receieve error messages. Also it should be much easier to trigger workflows manually, it is weird for me that I have to go to edit mode to run it manually. It would be great if we could write some code on the pulled data before we push it to our target source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to read and understand various API documentation which is a huge reliefe beacuse sometime the documentation is terrible. I don't have to code the API calls, which is also a great thing, it just saves us a huge amount of time

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use; generally most things are easy to figure out. There's a wide range of things we can integrate (a wide array of sources and targets) and there are explanations in regards of what you need (as in tokens, ids, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
The docs really need to be updated with some of the tutorials that are available through the support e-mails. The community page is good and needs to be highlighted more often, along with the documentation. Maybe also update the tutorials to reflect the current interface of Rivery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us focus on developing better data products, while being sure that our ETL processes are running smoothly and can be done by people with no previous experience with it. We are training a few of our analysts to integrate their own data.
