Rivery is a great tool to automate tasks/ data.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it how we can write custom queries and use Python and SQL to get the data we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running rivers takes a lot of time. Waiting for the looping rivers function with the Global variable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rivery is helping us automate data extraction and manipulation and saving us lot of manual labour and efforts.
Rivery solves most of our data ingestion problems!
What do you like best about the product?
Having a dashboard and activities log for each environment to know what happened with rivers and the number of connectors that are pre-created
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could use some love. Sorting for any place that environments show and also being able to better deal with a high number of environments (i.e. we have 25-30 and continue to grow). Same goes for variables, being able to better deal with a higher number of variables per environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Loading raw data into Databricks and Azure Storage. Getting alerts immediately if there are any failures in loading of data.

Missing the ability to source code from GitHub / Gitlab repositories

it's a stateless service, they maintain the underlying services.
Great Utility + Fast Pipelining + Improvements are coming frequently

Even though Customer Support is fast, some of the errors/issue texts are not user-friendly, not always telling what is the cause of the issue

Could say nothing. It is easy to use and it is veryintuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
Rivery provides a full ability to create data pipelines in an easy and smooth way. It has both data ingestions processes from a variety of data sources and apis and easy data transformations and orchestration in one place.
It provides OOTB data engineering procedures such as automatic data creation, incremental loads, extract and load methods.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s hard to manage dependencies between multiple processes. There is a need for data lineage map in order to understand which data element is used and where.
Since the pricing is a usage based it requires a prior understanding and estimation in order to understand the future cost.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides Data Lake and DWH modeling in a short time to market using only SQL and data modeling skills. No need to work hard with scripting language in order to pull and arrange the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Rivery for business environments who are looking for a tool to build data infrastructure and ELT processes with a managed SAAS tool, using SQL and Data modeling skills.

What do you like best about the product?
Rivery has a flexible pricing system which is helpful, and they deliver a lot of value. They also do not have a pricing structure that is limited by the number of connectors, we're not tied to using specific data sources over others. The ability to create rivers and then structure them in logic flows allows us to stay organized, and the system is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're not familiar with a new data source, it can be difficult to know which fields or report settings to select. However, the Rivery team has always been able to help guide us through the process of setting up a new data source. Their standalone documentation could be improved, but their team is responsive and helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Rivery to pull in data across many advertising platforms in order to aid with reporting, management and optimization. Using Rivery in conjunction with Big Query and Google Data Studio has made it far easier to create complex reporting systems to help with the complex business questions from a number of global brands.
Easy and simple data pipeline platform
What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost, even before the platform itself - the response time from the support team is very short. The support team also listen to your requests and questions, and are doing their best to provide a solution. You really feel that there is a genuine will to help.
The platform itself is really easy to use, even REST APIs are easy to set up. It literally took us only a few days to integrate to multiple sources instead of weeks and months of what the data engineering team planned.
Last but not least - pricing structure is simple and easy to understand.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some integrations that at the time of writing this review need some improvement. There are also some key platforms/protocols that don't have the full set of built-in integrations. However, two important things: a. the above issues were discovered during the free trial period, so no surprises there, and b. seems like the Rivery team is catching up on those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to connect multiple data sources from different marketing platforms, web analytics platforms, and databases, into a Snowflake warehouse.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the free trial period to test everything you'll need. This is the only way to know if this platform is the right fit for your data integration challenge.

What do you like best about the product?
Rivery is very simple to use. Integration process that could take days to develop in-house with ongoing maintenance effort, is done in less than and hour, and ongoing maintenance is seamless.

They are still missing some required integrations. but they usually close these gaps promptly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Rivery to import data from external data sources and services, and integrate them into our DWH and BI systems. doing and maintaining that in-house would require dedicated expensive workforce. and much longer times.
