Essential for Website performance testing

  • March 29, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to QA and performance check multiple operating systems and browsers in such a quick and reliable way is essential for me and my team. It allows you to simulate devices on a budget and lets you check your website against every leading device/browser/operating system in the market
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you can miss bugs that you would normally spot in live browsers due to the rendering
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRO, site speed troubleshooting, Development issues
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a cheap, reliable and comprehensive tool to allow you to view your website/development work in multiple operating systems/websites/devices in a short amount of time then this is for you.

Great Software for Web Designers / Managers

  • March 22, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With the constant browser changes, this is a great piece of software for viewing your website in a variety of browsers, OS and devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little slow to load some of the devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The majority of our customers still are using old operating systems and browsers as they are in hospital / facility settings with limited technology. So if they are having an issue, it's nice to be able to see exactly what they are seeing.

Best there is

  • March 08, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The many choices of browsers, I like being able to troubleshoot right there in the emulator. I like the visuals of the cellphones getting hooked up to charge and loading the page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's slow. Sometimes the cellphones don't respond to clicking very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing webpages in different browsers help me as a web developper. It's much easier than physically owning Windows machines, or Mac machines.

Helpful Front End testing site for any platform.

  • February 02, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can easily switch between platforms, i.e. mobile, PC, or MAC. You can even have multiple tabs open within your session. It is a very convenient tool to test websites outside of your own DNS environment. It also allows testing on mobile, PC, or MAC, so you can test frequently as you program or for troubleshooting specific issues on a client site.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that it is slow at times or completely unavailable. Since I use it so often, it's frustrating when it's unavailable or not working properly. Although it is a rare occurrence, so doesn't deter me from using this as my primary testing platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to test the Front End of a website, as I program, as well as for specific troubleshooting of client site problems. I'm able to test on multiple platforms and circumvent my DNS to maximize knowledge and troubleshooting value.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for troubleshooting out of your DNS environment, as well as using multiple platforms. You can easily switch between platforms at the click of the button, as well as having multiple tabs open for multiple site testing simultaneously. Great tool!

A QA Analyst Use of Browserstack

  • January 25, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. I like the variety of devices available
2. I like that you can connect to actual devices
3. They have newer iOS devices
4. Easy to learn and use
5. Ability to take screenshots
6. It helps our Developers to be able to replicate issues QA is experiencing
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The lag using the the devices is awful. I can't QA an entire website using Browserstack. It would take me far too long. I end up using my actual mobile and tablet device to do that and just using Browserstack for spot checking.
2. Customer service is a little challenging
3. The sales reps are a little pushy
4. Would have liked to test out the automation prior to purchase
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to go out and buy mobile devices only to have them be irrelevant a year or two later. This allows us to test multiple devices and multiple OS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it out for a month to see if it meets your needs

Easy emulator for all things web browser and mobile

  • January 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Almost any browser or mobile device is available to test with, with the most up-to-date versions of each.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little slow on the network and does crash from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to test many browsers and mobile devices that we simply do not have physical access to test with. To be able to test as many use cases as possible, even without the physical devices is very nice.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an all-around comprehensive tool to emulate websites across virtually any browser or mobile device, this is your number one tool.
