BrowserStack enables teams to scale & automate their tests across a variety of devices & platforms.
What do you like best about the product?
The api documentation is very helpful and detailed. Sample code and instructions are clear to follow, greatly lowering the barrier of entry compared to other tools. Accessible and functional apis allow myself to quickly spin up integrations with BrowserStack in order to showcase ROI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not quite downside rather room for growth. The recently introduced BrowserStack University could include more courses that include integrations with partner products or services. It has been helpful so far to my team to expand their BrowserStack product knowledge and am looking forward to what's next.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is helping to showcase to clients and teams the power of automation and scalability. Providing on-demand devices has greatly reduced the need to acquire and maintain in-house purchases, saving time and money.

it's indispensable to test the good work you're doing. While technically complex, it's easy to use and support is quick and helpful too.

it's a bit expensive for small companies.

we can trust in our product working on a big range of devices, because we know that we tested!

So far easy to administrate. I have added new users and recently switched from login/password to SSO with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is nothing I can say that I dislike. I have been able to learn whatever I needed to learn with relative ease. The documentation is good and the UI works well.

The developers seem to be happy with the application. So I assume all is well.
Intelligent platform for cross browser testing
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integration with existing automation platforms like selenium, cypress etc.

No issues found till date with the use of browserstack

It helps us to test our application on real hardware instead of sumulators. It gives us cross browser, cross platfrom capabilities which helps to improve quality of our software.

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack offers a cost-effective cloud-based platform to run your tests both manually and automated! It allows you to scale your testing without having tons of devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. One minor thing might be that there is sometimes a little latency when using mobile devices. But I have to say it really improved over the years!

Browserstack allows me to run the exact same test against a wide variety of browsers on both desktop and mobile devices. Next to that it offers so many features, like geolocation, mobile gestures, and setting up a connection to your private network.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalable test execution on the cloud from anywhere and on any device was a big pain for us and with BrowserStack app live and app automate products , we were able to manage team and feature deployments with ease from different parts of the country.
Great output and coverage across multiple platforms
What do you like best about the product?
It is awesome that I can test on different real devices, even though sometimes they are moving pretty slow.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, the fact that Browserstack doesn't have enough coverage over Cypress automation testing it is a big downside, but I hope that in the future, this aspect will be solved.

BrowserStack helps me to provide better quality over my application and services and also helps me to see how it behaves on different platforms that our users may use.

Nothing as such. They doing really great.

Providing range of devices so no need to procure a mobile as a new model launch. It saves good amount of cost. Also we can test on any device from anywhere, no need have a device physically with us. This help us a lot in this new normal of Remote or Hybrid work environment.

I’ve been using BrowserStack for over 5 years now, and based on my experience so far, I would place it right among the top testing tools. Across web and mobile, from Live to Automate to SpeedLabs to Percy, BrowserStack provides coverage across tons of Operating systems, Browsers, Devices, Versions, Geolocations, Resolutions and more. What else would one require??
As our business focuses more on the Web and less on Mobile, I've been using the following products very often: Live, Automate, Percy and SpeedLabs and each of these products has helped my team in testing at their fullest potential and delivering features to Production with optimum quality. As compared to other competitors, BrowserStack is far superior in the capabilities it provides and in terms of the pricing too! Moreover, it has the added advantage of running tests across simulators and real devices, building more confidence within test teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm eagerly waiting for an enhanced version of SpeedLabs where we can make the best use of this tool for testing a website's performance. At the moment, it has only limited capabilities unlike PageSpeedInsights, Lightbox, GTMetrix, etc. Also, the scores across all tools vary a lot. (although great to see the possibility to now integrate via APIs). Moreover, would love to see an Insights Dashboard in the lower plans as well.

BrowserStack provides the ability to test across browsers, devices, operating systems, resolutions, geo-locations and multiple versions, indirectly helping to build confidence in testing a feature thoroughly with complete coverage. It is possible to run tests on BrowserStack from either Dev, Stage or Production environments giving complete flexibility to developers and test professionals, indirectly helping to release software in an agile manner.
