Cross browser testing at its best
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack has been a key tool for my team to successfully test and deliver high-quality online products to our customers in New Zealand. Thanks to the platform we can run easily cross browser testing and device testing in not time. They offer a huge range of products in their SaaS and good support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prices could be a bit cheaper due to the economy of scale
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They offer online solutions to allow cross browser testing and device testing, we don't have to purchase expensive real devices or install several browsers to run our tests.
A testing solution that JUST WORKS!
What do you like best about the product?
Your tests run on REAL devices by default (with LambdaTest I went a whole week before realizing I was testing on emulators and had to click a special link to use real devices).
Also BrowserStack JUST WORKS! The DevTools work great for both iOS and Android devices (with LambdaTest I had issues viewing my CSS styles, and the DevTools experience on emulated devices is just horrible).
BrowserStack is the more expensive solution but in this space, you really get what you pay for (i.e. the cheaper options are not very good).
Also BrowserStack JUST WORKS! The DevTools work great for both iOS and Android devices (with LambdaTest I had issues viewing my CSS styles, and the DevTools experience on emulated devices is just horrible).

What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack is EXPENSIVE. They offer a quality product to be sure but should consider offering more pricing options to match reality (e.g. during development, you could stop working on front-end stuff and spend MONTHS doing back-end stuff but you would still need to pay to do the occasional front-end test in the browser. This could be solved by offering cheaper plans that last 24 hours, or 3 days or a week...or even better, the ability to buy testing hours that stick around until they are used up).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I initially thought I could tell my users to use Chrome on iOS devices and not have to bother supporting Safari and all its quirks, but it turns out that all browsers on iOS are just skins over Safari and you MUST test all of them. BrowserStack makes it possible to test on iOS devices that I would never have the inclination (or budget!) to purchase. This saves a lot of money while improving the quality of my websites.
One of the best tools you can get for reporting bugs and debugging
What do you like best about the product?
the stand-out feature for me will be it's ability to capture logs as well as record the screen for a better visual representation which saves a lot of time when debugging the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Consistency of the app is good but sometimes minor bugs such as faults in UI, abruptly stoppage of recording the screen and struggling to load when turned on for recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves Time, Collects Screen Logs, Easy debugging, Easy setup and Chrome extension availability are some of the best features which help me for reporting the bugs in the product and it's much easier for them to debug the issue.
Great tool for automating QA testing
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing was how we're able to test a mobile app/site on multiple platforms, platform versions and web browsers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find which tiers offer what service. Initially, we ended up signing for a service that didn't support multiple browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe Browserstack is adding new web browsers and mobile OS versions to their platform which would expand the testing spectrum for us.
I consider this an effective tool, its implementation has been simple and functional

The ease of its integration, migrating to this platform was quite simple and did not take us too long

I would like more examples of its implementation using Typescript.

It solved the problem of not having many devices to run our tests on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend evaluating and prioritizing the devices you want to test on and defining a differentiator between test runs, as it helps to understand what version of the software they were run on.
Best web and mobile testing platform, great technical support.
What do you like best about the product?
All device testing is very challenging work, Browserstack is the one platform where we can check multiple testing scenarios. Most developers/designers would like this, we can check responsiveness with inspect elements also Android,iOS app functionality with logs. Also, we can choose any version of android or ios device. Great technical support from the team. Great work Browserstack.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. When we test a real mobile device some times it gets session time out repealedly. 2. Little slow to connect real mobile devices. 3. If we test any aap we have to install it repeatedly when the session gets time out that aap also gets uninstall, so we have to install the same aap all the time when we do testing. 4. Can't do inspect element in mobile testing.
It would be great if we get any solution for that above issue.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have purchased 'Aap Live' but we can't able to inspect element on this package, so I contacted with the technical team and they suggest to buy 'Live' plan where we can test what we want. And they helped me to switch the plan. Also, Browserstack team has enlisted that problem as a Feature Request. It would be great if we get that feature on the 'Aap live' plan.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Browserstack is the one platform where you can check multiple testing scenarios. For Developers/designer borwserstack is the best solution you looking for web/aap testing.
Experience of Web and Mobile testing with BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
There is a wide range of platform(Web, Mobile with differet OS and versions) where testers can test their applications using browsersatck. So testers do not need to purchase them for testing. We only need to have license and can custamize according to our requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I observe sometimes it is showing errors when try to see live execution videos and I reported it to the support team as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem I had was to purchase different realtime dives for tesitng (Android and IOS). But in browserstack they have wide range of devices with different OS and the license is not much costly
Best way to quickly test front end UX on different devices
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy, intuitive, and does what you expect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it expensive given that I only use a small part of what it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to identify and fix an obscure problem with my UI that only affected certain devices

The different devices. Easy to upload APKs. The console log.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does'nt have every device but they do have the popular ones. Need to upload an APK to run an app can't just grab from the app store.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build mobile and web apps. Often, there are bug reports that we can't duplicate on our end unless we buy every device available and install every browser on the market. Browser stack provides a real simple solution to run apps on every device. We can't live without it.
