Jit: Our Path to Enhanced Secure Development
What do you like best about the product?
Our transformative experience with Jit has been significantly enhanced by the outstanding support from Ilanit, our account manager, and Raz, an engineer at Jit. Their invaluable assistance during our onboarding and ongoing development processes has been a cornerstone of our success with the platform. Jit's blend of automated security scans, gamified team monitoring, and the flexibility to integrate tailored security tools has seamlessly woven security into our development lifecycle, all while being supported by Ilanit and Raz’s expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, we found the platform's user experience a bit cumbersome, which was slightly daunting for our team. However their support in Slack were key to our effective use of the platform.
It's worth noting that Jit has since updated its UX, addressing the early challenges and significantly improving the overall ease of use, making this initial obstacle a thing of the past.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jit solves the problem of integrating security seamlessly into the software development lifecycle, enhancing developer productivity and focus on relevant vulnerabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
Find Security missconfigraction and vulnerability on Cloud platform and on Web..
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard does not give the clear picture. status about the RISK status are not accurate

To find the vulnerability in GIT, Web and Cloud

Great integration with Github, willingness to improve quality and attentiveness to customer needs.

A liitle bit lack of UI platform features but it improves with the compony growth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are usingn Jit mostly for our code scanning and getting a "shift left" benefit preventing security issues before they hit a production.
Amazing Product and Team
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the overall concept and strategy for the product: Git driven security. Having a foundational security product which starts at the developer and source code level is amazing and something I've always wanted. It allows our team to catch issues before they can happen at the product level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot to dislike at this point. I would like to see more integrations into the overall security stack so I can have only one product to integrate but they are working on it and adding more and more integrations quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a central security solution that is integrated directly into our SDLC has been instrumental in the adoption and improvement in our security posture.

What do you like best about the product?
Jit supplies comprehensive security coverage of the ability to address various security concerns, including code vulnerabilities, infrastructure weaknesses, and CI/CD pipeline security.
The team in Jit is very proactive, and the tool is centralized for code security findings and remediation efforts, offering better visibility and control. It's very easy to maintain, implement, and support this tool with little effort.
Jit's integrated with the GitHub system and effectively improve the developer's experience with handling security code issues, and speed up development cycles.

Jit tools are very comprehensive and robust in integration with GitHub and need to prepare the developer's team for it. This plan and preparation need to be done and can take time.

Code scanning and SSDLC an easy ways to implement and maintain.

still missing some configuration complexity to cover un-standard development tools / packages.

the R&D are getting instant feedback on vulnerabilities they created which saves development time and increase security level
JIT can be a single pane of glass for our engineering teams
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is by far my favorite across other security tools I've seen. It's hiding a lot of powerful features behind a simple interface. I am new to using JIT, but the opportunity to present our engineering teams with a simple interface is the golden ticket. We will be using JIT to build secruity into our day to day operations! I haven't yet found an integration that isnt supported that I need, and when questioning support, they seem willing to do what we need.

As with all tools, it is another addition to the box. It's important to make sure that it is used correctly, and doesn't overreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIT is providing a clean and powerful interface for our engineering teams to build security into their sprints, instead of bolted on when needed.

Enforcing standards throughout the development cycle simplifies fixes and enhances security.

False positives, fewer them other tools but still noticeable.

It provides a comprehensive overview of my SDLC's security and reduces distractions for my busy developers.

Still some missing use cases so I can't ditch all my other tools and rely just on Jit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jit to shift left security in our SDLC, "stopping the bleeding" and preventing new issues to get added to our codebase while we work on managing the backlog.

Good experience passing AWS FTR
What do you like best about the product?
The platform was clear and easy to use, the FTR controls were listed clearly and I had action items and actionable recommendations to fix issues. Support from JIt was quick and effective
What do you dislike about the product?
The FTR report did not match the AWS expected format which required back and forth and manual adjustments. JIT supported us instantly to help resolve the issues and we got it sorted easily
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIT continuously scanned all relevant resources automatically in accords with AWS FTR requirements to help get us ready for submission. It recommended fixes and summarized our compliance status.
