Complete, Accurate, User-Friendly - You are Going to Love It
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast takes your close process and puts it all in one collaborative platform. It integrates with many ERP systems, we use Sage Intacct. It uses our excel platform, allows for tracking and monitoring of progress and processes. It is customize-able, streamlines one's work and saves a lot of time. Everything you need all in one platform. Your monthly, quarterly, annual close all at your finger tips. No need to re-create work for your auditors at year-end. Great company, great account managers. They listen and build relationships with their customers, routine check-ins and regular updates to their platform and offerings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about FloQast but it requires a cloud storage software similar to Microsoft OneDrive or Egnyte or other Single Sign-Ons for integration functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency - E-Tracking. One is notified immediately when there is a change that affects an account balance rendering a change in a previously reconciled schedule
Collaboration - Open Platform for communication regarding variance explanations, other matters affecting the close
Improved Efficiencies and Cost Savings - No need to duplicate work for auditors at year end. Auditors have access to platform
Monitoring - Information readily available at any moment to identify delays in processes, how long the close process is actually taking you name it

Can't live without this software
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast was the software I didn't know I needed until I had it and now I can't live without it. It has streamlined my monthly close process. I no longer have a manual process of printing things out and getting manual sign offs. Now it's all done right in the system. It integrates directly with my ERP as well so I can get reconciliation tie outs to my monthly spreadsheets. I also have a storage place for all of the documents and spreadsheets I need monthly, or as back up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downside to Floqast. It's an affordable software that will save you time and money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating the need for manual sign off on the monthly close process. The best feature is the reconciliation feature though. I am no longer worried that something has been input into my accounting software incorrectly. It also gives my auditors greater comfort around our GL and they get direct access to all of the supporting documents they will need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're on the fence with using their software, I say do it. Not only is the software amazing, the customer service is beyond what I could hope for. I have quarterly catch up calls with my account rep. Any issue I have is fixed very quickly, even on the weekend. This software has saved us so much time and money internally, and it is also helping us save time and money when it comes to the audit, so it has more than paid for itself.

The application is not easy for mobile devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
As such there is NOTHING in floqast which the User will not like. However, sometimes it becomes slow in updating the uploaded Reco whoch I think Can be a improvement point

Great product!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the cash matching the best. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and eliminates a lot of manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I think it's a great product. I love that I can add or delete any checklist items. I could leave review notes for any of my reconciliations and it's easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were manually having to do the cash reconciliations for multiple cash accounts. It was taking me up to two days to do one cash reconciliation. Once we implemented the cash matching feature, the amount of time I was spending decrease dramatically.
Great software to help with Financial Close
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use. Makes monthly close so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime the notifications sent are a little much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to easily assign close tasks and know that they are being completed during the monthly close. FloQast ensures that we don't miss any entries or reviews for month/quarterly close.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love the software and makes financial close a lot easier. Their support team is great and they are coming up with innovative ways to improve the software.

Clear definition of task preparer, reviewer and due dates leads to clarity which aides speed.
Getting update emails if numbers have moved in a previously completed reconciliation.

Not being able to upload file great than 60mb.
I would use a daily checklist for my team if this existed!

Communication over Month end progress. Less comms outside tool and clear progress updates.

The Software is easy to setup, simple to manage and edit as business processes change. The support staff is highly responsive should questions/issues arise. They have great webinars for updates/business process improvement suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flux cannot be used against a budget, just historical actuals.

Ensuring completeness on monthly, quarterly and annual financial closes. Ensuring proper reviews/signoffs take place on a consistent basis. Ensuring nothing ever falls out of reconciliation.

Ensure solid understanding of your close process and what level of audit trail your organization requires.
