Integral to our Month End Close process
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature in FloQast right now is the out-of-balance notifications. NetSuite doesn't notify you if your cash account reconciliations go out of balance so I'm loving the out-of-balance notifications from FloQast. Monthly, it saves me some decent time from double-checking the NetSuite trial balance against the reconciliation balance. Another feature I'm very thankful has been updated is the ability to add a permanent file to an entity for support documents that you don't want cluttering up your main reconciliation folders.
We aren't using the Auto Rec or Flux analysis portion of #FQ at this time so I can't offer any feedback on those features.

What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation through FloQast entities and workflows is not as intuitive as I'd like, so I find myself occasionally searching for tasks that I know I should be seeing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Early on in our NetSuite Integration, we were seeing the sync changing reconciled transactions. FloQast out-of-balance notification negates the concern that reconciled transactions could be changed before the books are locked. Another benefit is that I no longer have to update my manager on my close progress, she can see where I am just by logging into FloQast. We are also Identifying roadblocks to timely closing that were harder to pinpoint before we started using FloQast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a lot of balance sheet accounts that you want reconciled monthly FloQast is an amazing tool to keep you on track to timely closing and to clearly list balances with the support documentation. Another feature our team loves is the central location for tracking all our team tasks and clarifying roadblocks to timely closing that exist between team member tasks.
FloQast has helped us keep our close in order.
What do you like best about the product?
Implementation was the most helpful with my team of international accountants. We can now save everything in a single location and compare to our account balances in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I currently have nothing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have items saved everywhere so it was difficult to keep things straight. With FloQast we can have them all there and therefore easier to follow. Review notes are also a big plus.
Love the product
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a great product that helps with close management. I feel that implementing FloQast has helped cut down our close time and make us more efficient. It's a great product that I've implemented at my last two companies and I honestly can't function without it. The customer support is also amazing and helpful without overbearing. I love that they do check-ins that work on our timeline to ensure we are optimizing our use of the product and always asking for feedback to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about FloQast is the price but honestly, the product is great and well worth it.

FloQast has helped us cut down on our close timeline and makes reconciling easy and efficient. I love that the worksheets easily tie to our accounting software and we are quickly notified when reconciliations are out of balance.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, short implementation, excellent client service
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing notable. There are improvements that could be made to use this tool for SOX file maintenance but that is not the main use case for Floqast so it's not an issue. In the long-term though, it would be good if Floqast improved the SOX capabilities - I think clients that currently use AuditBoard/SOXHub would like being able to use Floqast for SOX in addition to close management.

Close management is now managed better rather than using Excel, which was a much more manual process.
Making financial close efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
1. Helps stay organized and track the progress of close tasks efficiently. 2. Get real-time notification as tasks are completed. 3. Capability to adjust due dates based on changing business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. It is an awesome tool for Accounting teams to facilitate close.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone owns up to their areas and ensures the tasks are completed by due date. Provides visibility into various accounting functions and the status of close deliverables. A quick run down of the Checklist makes close check-in meetings seamless and efficient.
Close Gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has completely changed our close and allowed us to build in controls and reviews we did not previously have the bandwidth to do. We are now expanding this visibility across other adjacent teams. The software is very user friendly, my team has had nothing but positive feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was better usability for the Flux feature with QBO. In the past I used it with Netsuite and the integration into close was amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to cut down on close time, and increase our close completeness and reviews.
Closes are so much easier with FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast is very intuitive and easy to use. We were able to gain efficiencies from day 1. All account reconciliations can be viewed at a glance and we can easily see the progress of our close. If an account goes out of balance, we are notified immediately. We are also able to maintain our sign-offs in FloQast for internal controls purposes. This is a huge time-saver as we no longer need to manually maintain sign-off or review evidence. Customer support is also excellent. FloQast team meets with us quarterly to tell us about new features and how we can leverage off those to make our closes even more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about FloQast. The entire team loves it from day 1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We haven't had any issues with FQ other than the occasional issue with FQ not recognizing the excel files saved on the server. It hasn't been a significant enough issue to cause concern. Overall, we have saved a lot of time by not having to constantly manually check if the account balances have changed since the last signed-off account reconciliations.

I appreciate the checklist function, the reconciliation tab, and the flux tab.

I do not have all the same access as the rest of my team but what I have is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am no longer missing past due items, and am notified when I have a due date coming up.

We use Flux for MoM variances in our pre-close meetings and it opens our eyes to missing items for month-end close.

The platform is a bit bare bones which I understand since it is an accounting tool rather than a marketing tool but having pretty graphics never hurt anyone!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting deadlines that everyone is aware of, keeping people accountable for any missing items and diminishing the ambiguity of any task. All team members know exactly what they need to get done.
