Organized direction
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reporting you can glean on your productivity once the estimated times, and tasks have been properly setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the amount of setup time it has taken, and that if I want to add a future re-occurring task (e.g. annual task every Jan, but it's only May) I have to wait until another January period is opened. There's a chance i'll forget to add that re-occurance when January rolls around, but I am given no option to add an annual January task if I have already closed the PY January.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us solve the quantification of the work our teams perform to better benchmark the balance of tasks amongst our team.
Accountants that know what is needed
What do you like best about the product?
The entire platform is built for accountants, BY accountants. It is user friendly, easy to use and quick to reconcile several accounts.
Throughout the years that we have used FloQast, they have implemented new features that make the product even better! We can now do multiple checklists for different service areas. The auto reconciliation feature is probably one of the best features that was implemented that has saved us hours of time!!

What do you dislike about the product?
I really have not found any downfalls or dislikes of the product yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checklists have allowed us to create a workflow for the end user to receive reminders of what is due and when it is due and then forward those onto the next level leader for review and or approval. This has saved us from having to store checklists outside of FloQast in multiple folders.
FloQast helping reach the closing date goal
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast helps to stay focused when working on the month-end schedule. A lot of valuable features, including reconciliation module. As long as your ERP system allows to automatically update the TB, the system send you notifications if the account falls out of balance. Also, no need to create a separate rec files, FloQast allows to use any Excel file you already have. Customer support is also one of the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
Might take a while before all the features are up and running depending on your internal ERP system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of the closing process. Monthly reconciliation updates and roll-forward of the balances

It keeps everything organized and in order.

The Refresh for the Trial Balance takes to long.

What do you like best about the product?
It can easily track tasks. User Friendly. It has the ability streamline the closing process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having hard time to communicate tasks to other team member.

It is very useful in reconciling accounts. It shows balances and variances vs on the integrated accounting software.
FloQast has streamlined so much!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast keeps us on track with where we need to be, what still needs to be reviewed, makes sure we don't skip a step. The autorec features have saved us a significant amount of time during the tight close. FloQast's support team has remained engaged through every step of the integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our most time-consuming reconciliations seem to be too complex for FloQast at this time. This was not anticipated when we implemented FloQast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most importantly, FloQast has helped us to meet our close deadline. This is very important throughout the company.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to see where we're at in a glance, add new recurring or one-time checklist items, update reconciliations, almost anything. Maintaining a close checklist in excel is fraught with errors, version control, rollforwards, etc. FloQast gets rid of all these issues and provides a dashboard with an overview of the close status. We also use it for recurring weekly and bi-weekly tasks, such as cash flow forecasting, payroll entries, and expense reimbursements.
FloQaqst ReMind has helped us to eliminate mass emails - we set up recurring emails to remind people to submit expense reports, request information around incentive-based comp from owners, and reach out to our lenders for supporting documentation. It saves so much time!
FloQast took us less than 6 weeks to implement and the process was simple. The tool integrates well with Sage Intacct, our ERP, and gives us real-time results of JEs simply by hitting the refresh button.
The best thing about FloQast, though, is the customer support. I have never encountered another vendor so eager and willing to help. The tool in constantly evolving and my success manager always keeps me updated. They also love hearing about new use cases, so when I tell them I want to leverage a function for something different, they get excited!
It's a great tool and a fantastic company - you can't go wrong with them!

I found the stub periods cumbersome to use relative to the rest of my experience. You have to get support to re-upload the TBs rather than being able to refresh on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing manual efforts, making us aware of variances in a timely manner, and keeping us on track in the midst of audit, acquisitions, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for the whole team. That was ease of Integration for the team and track the status of the task for each department.

That was time consuming to integrate to team

An organized and systematic month-end close
What do you like best about the product?
FQ keeps our team organized and prioritized with ease! We were able to take a full day off close immediately upon implementation, and we continue to see efficiencies the longer we use it. It is super easy to reassign tasks to different team members and to reshuffle tasks as needed. We also really like the Notes feature as a way of tracking open items and documenting for our audit. The best part of using FQ is that we are immediately alerted when an account falls out of reconciliation so that we can correct it before we close the GL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - we love it! I cannot think of anything that I would change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FQ requires us to have reconciliations for every balance sheet account - the Completeness feature keeps us in check. We also love the audit trail that we have for every account in FQ.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything FloQast does is intuitive to the process you'd think it should follow. I use it daily and monthly to track tasks and reconciliations with ease!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'd improve about FloQast is the due dating feature. Each month end changes so much, I need to spend time to check due dates.

Automated reconciliation is so necessary, and incredibly efficient.
