Confidence in the Close Process!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that FloQast integrates with our ERP (Intacct) and immediately tells me if a workpaper or reconciliation falls out of balance. I like that it integrates with cloud storage solutions.
FloQast also helps me identify bottlenecks in our monthly close process.
I like that FQ is constantly trying to improve the product and make meaningful changes.

What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast is great, I don't have any major concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's hard for me to know who is doing what and when it's due. It's also hard to ensure our workpapers and reconciliations tie to the GL. FQ solves both of these problems.
1.5 Years using FQ Close; Recently implemented FQ Compliance Module
What do you like best about the product?
In 2023, we implemented FloQast to streamline our month-end close process. The checklist feature has been invaluable for ensuring organization and task completion, eliminating the manual oversight needed with our previous Excel-based approach. FloQast’s task assignment and automated reminders have lightened management’s workload, while its balance sheet reconciliation tool, which syncs with our ERP’s trial balance, has reduced errors and prevented potential audit issues by notifying preparers and reviewers of discrepancies.
Approximately a year after adopting FloQast for closing, we transitioned our SOX compliance system from AuditBoard to FloQast Compliance. Initially hesitant, we worked closely with the FloQast team, who refined the compliance tool based on our and our auditors’ feedback. After these enhancements, we received approval from our auditors to proceed with FloQast Compliance. Though still in the early stages of our first audit cycle, we’re pleased with its performance. While there’s a learning curve after 10 years with AuditBoard, FloQast Compliance has proven functional and reliable, with a responsive team that addresses enhancement requests effectively.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are minor enhancement requests we have submitted for FloQast compliance: adding filters to some of the compliance screens; being able to link narratives and controls across different audit projects (corp controls vs IT controls, for example).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has introduced substantial efficiencies to our close process by providing real-time visibility into status updates, enhancing collaboration between our finance and accounting departments. The “watch” feature enables the finance team to monitor the accounting team’s progress, allowing them to initiate their tasks at the appropriate stage. In a remote work environment, this functionality has been particularly beneficial in helping our team stay aligned. Additionally, auditor access has been highly valuable, streamlining audit workflows.
A Month End Close Necessity
What do you like best about the product?
We use this every month. It makes closing the books every month so easy. We can keep our checklists, reconciliations, notes, and close metrics all in one place. We used to use a google sheet and several folders on a drive to do what Floqast does so effortlessly. I find it especially useful during audit as all reconcilations are stored in one place. Love Floqast
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant think of anything really. It has been nothing but a boon for us.

FloQast Review
What do you like best about the product?
The things I like most about FloQast are: 1) organization to our monthly close 2) variance analysis 3) reconcilation ease. Because of these features we were able to decrease time during close by a half day. With a small team that has been amazing to get all that time back. Finally, the support team are the best support team that I have ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there isn't much that I disklike about FloQast. I have been a FloQast user for over 10 years and I have loved to see the evolution of the system.

Balancing process is a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
The ease in balancing multiple accounts on a daily and monthly basis

I have no complaints or dislikes with FloQast
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Balancing of gl accounts in a timely and accurate fashion. This has been a huge time saver for me and those in my department.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast dose what it is intended to do, no fancy bells and whistles, just an easy to use, intuative platform that keep us all on trach for month end close.

I have found nothing to dislike in the 2 years we have been useing

Innovative solution for the closing process
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to see where every employee is at in the closing process, reconciliations, repetive tasks, etc, at any time is very helpful. Seeing what is done, needs to still be done at any given time, and knowing if the spreadsheets or accounts are reconciled to the trial balance saves a great deal of time for both the reviewer and those completing the tasks. FloQast is like a big to do checklist, but with more options!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be time-consuming to setup new accounts/recs, especially in instances where a large number of new locations or accounts are added (think M&A). It would be nice if it could connect to the ERP system so manual trial balances wouldn't have to be constantly uploaded. The tagging system is innovative, but also can be super frustrating when there are reconciling items. While there is an option to include reconciling items, if they are not all in the same spreadsheet, and FloQast sees the reconciling item tag before the normal account tag, it can't handle that. While there are workarounds, thought has to be made when making correcting or adjusting entries and the FloQast tab
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing what is left to be worked on during the close period, and having a quick analysis, that accounts are reconciled (and stay reconciled). While there is potential benefits with the auto-rec matching, the core benefits come from the checklists and reconciliations
FLoqast is great but i think they should work more in their FLuxes
What do you like best about the product?
you can track everything for the month end close and balance sheet rec. for the balance sheet rec is amazing that integrates with Netsuite
What do you dislike about the product?
The Flux Module isnt my favorite becasue it is slow becasue the Floqast team says we have so many department and that is what makes it slower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping track of how close is going and telling me if we are late or not
Great close management product for any accounting team

Easy to use and great customer service. Customer success representative are responsive and listens to feedback.

None at the moment - any dislikes are eventually addressed by customer success representative

Great Month End Close System!
What do you like best about the product?
I love using FloQast because it ensures that I have reconciled each of my trial balance accounts. I also know that these reconciliations are all securely housed in one place. I also love that it keeps me on track to close quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside for me is not being able to delete a reconciliation after it is uploaded. This happens occasionally.

Staying on track timewise.
