User friendly tool, built by accountants for accountants
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use, and it is easy to administer. Analytics is getting better and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recons are still excel based and not integrated into the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting our close checklists in one place for all subsidiaries, and having the notes feature to capture review for audit purposes is handy.

some of my end of month tasks are in different folders and sometimes i miss them

Essential Month-End Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage my month-end checklists and reconciliations saves me so much time and eliminates the risk of forgetting something.

There is nothing I really dislike about FQ

Keeping track of the month-end close as well as account reconciliations and statutory filings

Checklists for month close, reconciliation links to general ledger, easy to use flux tool.

N/A - FloQast is currently being utilized to our current needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is coming out with audit and budget to actual analysis which will benefit our groups in the future

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I use the beneficial reminder feature. After initial set up, FloQast will send reminders to your team for action items. Great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the reminder feature, some improvements could be made to the contacts section. It needs to be enhanced to add/remove contacts easier. Also, Adding more than one document to the reminder email would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast gives our senior team an overview of where we are with our monthly close, what remains to be completed and what has been accomplished. The FloQast Remind feature is excellent and takes the burden off of me to send emails to my staff.
Floqast, the best month end close tool
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a simple tool to ensure your close gets done on time and stays accurate. It is easy to implement and very easy to use. I love the slick integration with Netsuite, excel and google sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few nit-picky things that bug me about FloQast, but for the most part, my annoyance comes from user errors and not the software itself. We use multiple subsidiaries in Netsuite and FloQast does a great job of keeping me organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 1000's GL accounts over five subsidiaries. FloQast helps me know the state of the current close. It also notifies me when any reconciled account becomes unreconciled due to GL or reconciliation sheet changes. I also know which employees are staying on schedule or falling behind.
Amazing Product to Streamline Close
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see any outstanding review or preparer work needed to ensure we close the books in a timely manner is truly unmatched. It helped us get more a 21 day close to a 6 day close!
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides would be the need to constantly manually refresh prior periods if they get changed, and some of the information received from the team is not always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to keep all tasks, both checklist and reconciliations in one place where preparers and reviewers can filter by what is due now and what is overdue is amazing.

What do you like best about the product?
The software has a clear design and intentionality to fit the needs of industry month-end close processes. Our team has benefited greatly by how organized the navigation is and how intuitive the sign-off triggers are.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I slightly dislike about FloQast is the mapping of General Ledger Accounts to folders - I wish this was more easily adjustable in the software versus a manual Excel upload.

FloQast is allowing us to keep our cadence clean and organized and provides clear ownership of reconciliations and checklist items. It allows myself as VP of Finance to stay in the loop with our accounting team.

The closing checklist helps our team to prioritize our tasks during the financial close. It also provides an overview of the team's performance and allows management to find what can be improved or adjusted.

What do you dislike about the product?
Based on our experience, it is essential to use a system connector to integrate between FloQast and our document folders instead of a specific user which would cause disruption when the user discontinues being a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In closing, it is easier to identify where the potential bottlenecks might be and make adjustments or improvements accordingly. In reconciliation, the delta between the trail balance and supporting work files can be easily reviewed to determine if additional research is required.

What do you like best about the product?
We love FloQast because it offers an all-in-one platform that ensures smooth and effortless month-end closings. With its streamlined procedures, well-organized documentation, and easy progress tracking, completing tasks requires minimal effort. The added benefit of the ReMind App for streamlined monthly reminders on recurring tasks is a game-changer. Additionally being able to connect reconciliations to Google Sheets and roll forward reconciliations is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
A point of improvement we would like to see from FloQast would be to update the trial balance in a faster way, preferably from within FloQast. Additionally, we would like to see some additional templates for reconciliations for companies that do not have those setup already.

FloQast provides us with a structured closing process by organizing all accounts into folders and checklists. This enables different team members to work on their assigned accounts while maintaining an overview of the entire process. The inclusion of communication features, such as notes, simplifies collaboration between team members. Additionally, automatic reminders ensure that everyone can easily track their progress and receive notifications of any changes that occur. Lastly, being able to house all of our reconciliations on one platform helps with organization.
