Simple, Strong, Effective

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has made it easy and simple to close the keep the closing of book on track. We now have the confidence that no minor detail will be forgoten in some months, and that the whole team can work together efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can be quite rigid and slow somethimes. I think this is because of how powerful it is. But I must say, there are many was to navigate around and not get lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective Team colaboration is a big issue that FloQast has highly improved on. Additionally, it gives assurance that no part of the closing has been left behind.

An all-in-one platform that makes month-end closing easy

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast provides an all-in-one platform to make the month-end closing smooth and easy. The procedure is repeatable, the documentation is well organized and takes least effort to accomplish, and the progress is easily trackable. The ReMind App is a plus in streamlining monthly reminders on repeated tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ReMind App can be improved to include multiple number and types of attachments, and also allow customized setting of reminder date and frequency. Currently, only 4 message modes are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast sets up a structured closing process, organizing all accounts into folders and a checklist and allowing different people to work on their accounts while still providing an overview of the process. Communication between people is also simplified with notes. Automatic reminders also enable people to track their progress and be warned about any changes.

Automation with the capability of syncing from the ERP.

If you accidentally generate flux reports, it will email everyone about it.

World-class support from beginning to end!

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is so user-friendly and intuitive, and gives me complete control and easy visibility into the status of each of our key accounts, both on a granular level, and on a detailed level. The team has been able to quickly adapt to this new platform, thanks in part largely I think to how easy it is to use. I have to say - the customer service from beginning to end was world-class, and largely contributed to a) us signing up for the platform, and b) our continued success. Tom Coldman was excellent from a sales perspective, as he was my first line of contact, always readily available and eager to help and provide me with key information to make my decision. The onboarding team, led by Karen Rosenbaum, was truly stellar, Karen got our team up to speed quickly and was instrumental in the success of our implementation. Finally, Brittany Shaw and Trevor Gonzalez continue to help us every step of the way, always able to get us the answers we need in the turnaround time that we need it. The whole team was super friendly, engaging, and truly a pleasure to work with. Thank you Floqast!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced any downsides, in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new company, when I came onboard a large part of the finance function was outsourced, and one of my major objectives was to obtain control over that process. I wanted to standardize the process and make it as fit-for-growth as possible, and Floqast was the perfect solution to enable me to achieve these goals. The easy ability as an admin to add new accounts, new recs, new tasks, and new areas as a growing company, as well as to roll-forward tasks month to month or quarter to quarter, de-risks the whole process and enables us to close faster than ever.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy reviewing recs is since they are all in one place (OneDrive). Additionally, when recs go out of balance, we are immediately notified and can take action real-time. Further, I can easily see what recs are complete/outstanding all in one place; filter by assignees; follow up with individuals, etc. Prior to FloQast, we had an extremely manual process so having everything in one spot has been a real time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't taken advantage of the robust offerings FloQast has (we currently only use the tool for "Financial Close" and only utilize Checklists and Reconciliations), and I have no dislikes in that area. The only thing to complain about is our audit fees went up once we put FloQast in use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are very easily able to track our close process via checklists and the reconciliations dashboard allows us to track the status post-close. Once all recs are final, I can export one list of all accounts rather than our old way of exporting 40ish different subsidiary NetSuite balance sheets and manually initialing. When a rec is out of balance, we can quickly take action since we are notified via email. Often using the manual process, when balances would change, it wouldn't be realized until our auditors selected the rec for sampling. Further, we take advantage of the Completeness function to ensure any new accounts are captured (our Auditors love this one). FloQast has streamlined and automated our close process in so many ways.

Essential tool for month end closing

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast's most valuable feature is the organization of tasks. By adding in all monthly tasks you can assign team members, assign due dates, assign reviewers - all which helps keep even the most hectic month ends organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of right now to my knowledge it cannot integrate with google sheets which would be ideal for our business but not a major inconvenience as we just export files into excel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a company that recently went public, we had a lot of additional work to be done at month end. Floqast not only help us to get it all set up in an organized manner but the reconciliations integrations into our financial reporting tool helps to physically ensure that when we close a month, everything is tied out

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast has been a game-changer for our very small accounting team! We're able to manage the close cycle closely, manage reconciliation completeness, and keep the process tight and efficient. We are very happy with the functionality! We also really appreciate the proactive nature of the support we receive from FloQast, and the continued expansion of product functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing, in my opinion, should include the optional but highly useful product features (autorec, fixed assets module etc) without having to pay a premium. Ultimately, we decided they are worth the cost, but the full product suite pricing could have been more transparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our close process prior to FloQast was long, incomplete, and contained in multiple folders/directories. FloQast has allowed us to consolidate these efforts, and the roll-forward feature each month has been highly beneficial in maintaining tidiness.

Strengthens Visibility, Accuracy, and Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
The visibility into the account balances, differences, and easy access to the reconciliations makes reviewing accounts at the end of the month much quicker and easier. The organization, locking of periods, getting notices when reconciliations go out of balance are also nice. The ability to group families of accounts that use one reconciliation or accounts that should net to zero has also been a considerable time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is not we don't like. We've submitted some ideas for future development, but only things that would enchance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving us visibility into the status of the close and the TB to reconciliation variances that we have never had before. We are also using a more organized and structured storage format that is consistent across all of our various plants. We have used FloQast to group intercopmany balance sheet accounts that should net to zero at the end of each period. The automated notices give us a heads up daily if these get out of balance and saves us time at month end.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful to see deliverables on a timeline and to quickly see who has what due when. The email and Teams notifications are helpful too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications could be a little more encouraging rather than sounding like you missed something. I don't like the "oops!"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wouldn't say FloQast is solving a problem as we previously had a monthly close checklist. What I would say is that FloQast is helping us level up and make our close process smoother and more consistent. Also, the team and management have better real-time visibility to the status at both a high level and a granular level.
