FloQast keeps us on track and organized. And the interface continues to improve.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the structure of it probably the most. But there are multiple quality features. It feels less cumbersome than some other similar tools I've used in the past, and the customization gives me everything I want to ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly close go smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. If I had to pick one thing, it's that I'm not a huge fan of online Excel. It's not nearly as robust or programmable as the standard desktop version. But for the most part this is not an inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting everyone on the team into a very routine and easy to evaluate schedule is really helpful. Knowing exactly what is due, especially using the timeline view, helps to set priorities in weekly tagups.
Great for organizing, efficient in display and very user-friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a great workflow organization tool, it has made viewing and reviewing our reconciliations so much more easier and efficient. Its checklist is also great for our month-end meetings, and am very appreciative of the impromptu support received whenever we have any issues/questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The greatest downside would be that it's a third-party software, but that's difficult to mitigate unless of course it develops into an ERP system. So far, am well pleased with all that it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast makes reconciling items easier, by displaying all recs under categories, it is easier to check off and keeps us accountable. Our business performance has indeed increased by meeting our deadlines on time.

What do you like best about the product?
The quality I most like about #FQ is the ability to stay on task and ensure I don't forget anything in my month-end close process. I've never used a product like this before
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not seen any downsides to using #FQ. If I had to choose something, it would be not fully recognizing the product's capabilities. Maybe periodic free tutorials with tips and tricks would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my accounts reconciled and the ability to keep notes have been a massive help to my productivity. Also, a big problem that #FQ helps with is that anyone on my team can see my productivity and step in to help if needed.
Floqast keeps it simple
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about FloQast is its ease of use. As a Quickbooks user, I upload my Trial Balance and my reconciliations. FloQast verifies the reconciliation balance to TB, and the user confirms the match. A user can create the month-end processes easily to a close checklist, so no steps are ever omitted. You can add pre-close tasks as well and assign the tasks to various users. Depending on your company's segregation of duties level, a reviewer can also be assigned to sign off for compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast has very few downsides, but if I needed to give one, it would be the initial learning curve to adding a new account to the reconciliation list. I could have initiated assistance from the fabulous FloQast support, but the best way to learn and recall the process is through trial and error. Once I figured out all the steps required, the process was logical and intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast keeps all of our brands' reconciliations in one location, which assists the corporate controller. FloQast keeps everyone on task for a smoother month-end. Also, having each reconciliation uploaded to FloQast, there is never a fear of overriding a reconciliation when rolling it forward. There is always a copy preserved.

Centralizing all your working papers which leads to an efficient audit. Also centralization of all checklists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Flux analysis does not include a budget column.

Efficient and effective monthly close process which frees up staff time for other initiatives.

reading about improvements, the ability to earn certificates and using new areas like forcasting, planning, analytics

easier mass updates and pre made templates for loading and updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is solving the problem of time consuming reconciliations with auto rec (especially for multiple bank accounts), it's helping us better communicate across the team and provides visibility to where we are at with month end close and allows us to have one central location for our files. We are also looking in to how FQ could help us in the future with analytics. FQ has helped us greatly for reducing time spent looking for files when it's all in one location; it has made reconciling accounts easier!

I would recommend Floqast as a Financial Close Tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I think that Floqast has a super user-friendly interface. It is easy to use and train others on. As an assistant controller, I think it is super helpful for me to understand where we stand at any point in the close process and where the roles and responsibilities may need to be realigned. Additionally, I love the comment functionality and how we can all be interacting in the same document with no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is reconciling the tool for foreign entities. It has been hard to consolidate foreign entities with USD for Equity recons. Other complaints I have had in the past have been addressed with new releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast helps me understand allocation of resources, address financial control implications and have a place where the team can drop in and know exactly what they need to work on that day.
FQ Great for Managing Close!
What do you like best about the product?
The checklist and reconciliation functions are super helpful in managing close. I enjoy using the checklist for my own personal to-do during close as well as for items that my managers need to sign-off on. Reconciliations are also seamlessly integrated between our excel workbooks and Netsuites. This makes completing reconciliations and keeping track of any unreconciled accounts super easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I manage the reconciliations to keep track if they're completed on time. The export view of the reconciliations report is a bit clunky and requires manual filtering. If there was a way to keep track of only the current status of reconciliations at a certain point of time, that would make the reconciliations management process cleaner and more simple!

FloQast helps us keep track of our close deadlines and makes sure we are able to close our books on time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the checklists and due dates to you stay on track for month-end. I also like when you get notifications if your reconciliations go out of balance if new activity is posted to your accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike about Floqast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I mentioned below, it keeps myself and the team aware of responsibilities and due dates. This keeps the team on track to close the month within our deadlines.
