Great tool for tracking reconciliations, checklists, & tasks for close, SOX, & audit deliverables!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the connectivity to our operating system to verify reconciliations match account balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating new items can be clunky and adding new GL accounts has proven less than intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking deliverables in one place and giving consistent reminders when expected completion is not met.

Giving us a close calendar to follow and adhere to. Organizing all of our supporting documentation in one place.
FloQast is Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to switch between all of our companies recs in one place, whereas before, I had to go to different share drives to find their excel recs. It was also excellent during the audit that we could give auditors access to find support for any recs without having to ask to upload them to the audit portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have two reviewers for the more complicated accounts. I wish it could distinguish between "First reviewer" and "second reviewer" when filtering on recs ready to be reviewed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The auto-match recs have helped us better reconcile clearing accounts. We can even upload all the activity multiple times a month to be matched together so that we don't have an entire month of activity to reconcile during close week, which is very helpful on the accounts with a lot of activity.
Great Accounting Close Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly the software is and how easy it is to see what needs to be done, get to that step, and then complete the work. The integration with NetSuite makes everything very seamless as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to FloQast that I've had so far is that there can be some lag when reconciliations are loading, causing the site to throw up an error message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast makes it easy for us to ensure that all steps in our closing process are being completed, something we struggled with before. Now we can readily see who has or hasn't completed each of their tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set reviewer and approver level interactions with reconciliations and checklist items allows for a quick glance update on progress throughout the month.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to set everything up. Even working to build off a manual checklist that pre-existed using FloQast, each item requires set up that takes some time to establish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and timeliness of task completion is solved with the checklists. Reconciliations through FloQast allow us to use the benefit of technology to supplement our month end closing process.
FloQast for SOX
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a great tool for testing SOX compliance. Our accounting team uses this platform, and our internal audit team has read-only access to all areas within the application. We can perform all testing for review type controls directly from FloQast, without having to involve accounting personnel unless we have additional questions. All reconciliations, support, preparer and reviewer sign-offs are directly within FloQast, which makes testing more efficient. We even use it for monthly and quarterly close checklist items, again showing the preparer and reviewer sign-offs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature in FloQast can be a little tricky. If you don't spell out exactly what you are looking for, or if the item moves locations, it can be difficult to find. You have to remember to clear out filters you have set because they don't automatically reset upon each login; therefore, making that search function again more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has helped us to solve have different preparers versus reviewers for all reconciliations and close item. It has also helped us create deadlines and decrease the time it takes to close the books.
FloQast is User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has been an easy adoption. Very user friendly and has assisted in managing our close. My favorite piece is the flux analysis since it's an easy set up and truly provides information that is usable.
What do you dislike about the product?
As in any system, there are limitations to setting it up to pertain particular items to our company. For example, we have a statutory financial statement that we cannot differ in FloQast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has helped solve the reminders that are sent out on a regular basis by using a system to automatically send out emails and reminders when nothing has been submitted.

I love how FloQast helps organize close in a way that makes it easy.

Honestly nothing, you can update due dates if you need time.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some challenge of outof balance ; same time when we had reconciliation on time then any change they can cause reconciliation look like missed deadline however I completed on Time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FQ solved on my self to complete my task , last period before the FQ I can work unknown activities but today is public with other levels not manager only ,it minimize overtime on my side
I like the review of listing menu, easy to use functions.

Reconcile book balance and bank balance, Journey entry review and approval.
