easy to use, straight forward
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visibility of close task for month end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes close tasks arent emailed to us when they are open. Daily summary could be emailed every day. Or integration with slack

The user interface is easy to navigate. I like that there are different views for tasks depending on how your brain works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some bugs pop up, but the team is always quick to resolve those issues

It gives us a central place to perform our account reconciliations and sign off on tasks for SOX compliance.
FloQast is necessary for a smooth accounting close
What do you like best about the product?
I love the checklist and review notes feature in FloQast. I also love how you can set deadlines and have sign-offs for the accounting close. This makes it easy to check on the status of the monthly close at any point in time. Also, review notes being tracked and closed out ensures all necessary changes are made.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes with FloQast. It is very user-friendly software that helps the close process run smoothly and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has made the accounting close process smooth and efficient. With all of its features reviewing and preparing monthly financials is so much easier when working in FloQast.
Clean & Concise Closing Software
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly view outstanding tasks in an organized manner. The functionality of push notifications to email is also helpful. The overall format and working of the software are clean, quick and easy to use. As a manager, it is easy to tell how our accounting close is progressing and to have short meetings to discuss any bottlenecks. It is also very responsive and customizable for our organization/team. The ability to add notes and markings to tasks has also been helpful for our close process. The Floqast filters are also handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently no ability to N/A a current task. Having a separation between close/folders/checklist/reconciliations seems to have a lot of overlap. It might be beneficial to consolidate these if possible or have more functionality to make them more seamless. I think it could also improve how task progression is displayed and perhaps more options to customize how it can be viewed across the board. A project timeline chart showing task progression, delays and notifications would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assisting in closing more timely and providing visibility to task responsibilities. It has also helped manage our reconciliations. The ability to have our accounts mapped out, task responsibilities/progress and cleanly attach wallpapers has made the process less manual & more efficient. It has also helped us with any audit and compliance work since many of our files are managed here. We can quickly export files and also show proper reviews for our tasks. Also, from an internal review, we are able to evaluate the close overall effectively. It has given the opportunity to quickly identify any bottlenecks that happen during our close process.
Great software for accounting teams!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is easy to see and roll forward work performed in prior periods! So much of our accounting work is similar month-over-month and I appreciate not having to start from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate if we were able to roll workpapers quarter-over-quarter in addition to month-over-month. This would be very helpful for workpapers that are performed on a quarterly basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast is solving the problem of manually tracking individual and team work performed for the close process. The progress reporting is simple to use and to understand.
Monthly/Quarterly tasks organized simply
What do you like best about the product?
The tasks checklist makes my quarterly SEC reporting tasks easy to organize and follow, and ensure things are done timely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we had a little more control over the OneDrive folder structure as it relates to linking them back to the task checklist. Certain changes require help from Floqast rather than us being able to make the changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A one-stop shop for all monthly and quarterly accounting team tasks, including Close and SEC Reporting. It has made me more efficient, productive and responsive in my day-to-day job.
Streamlined Close Review!
What do you like best about the product?
Having visibility into the entire close process in real-time. We have a team of 8+ individuals working on the close concurrently; FloQast allows me, as a reviewer, to see how we are tracking deadlines and identify areas that are falling behind.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I like the ReMind feature within FloQast; however, there are some enhancements I would like to see in the future. FloQast has done a great job considering any enhancement requests, so I'm confident this product will only improve!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has allowed us to ditch our excel close workbook. The workbook was previously time-consuming to roll forward each month and was prone to errors as account balances could be changed and not identified. FloQast will now warn us when an account goes out of balance, which is a great control to have in place.
Seamless Reconciliation with Superb Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
I genuinely appreciate FloQast for its ease of use and simplicity, as it makes my tasks significantly more manageable. The seamless integration with NetSuite and Excel streamlines my reconciliation process, simplifying the way I work with financial data from different platforms. This interoperability greatly enhances operational efficiency. Additionally, its reliability stands out, providing consistent performance that allows me to trust the system without much concern. The setup process was seamless, making the initial adoption and continued use smooth and hassle-free. Overall, these positive aspects contribute to my unwavering satisfaction with FloQast, underscored by my strong likelihood to recommend it to others.

I find the product simplifies reconciling data between Excel and NetSuite, enhancing our efficiency.
Easy Implementation and Helpful Services Team
What do you like best about the product?
The FQ services team is one of the best my team has worked with. They are quick to respond and always volunteer to go above and beyond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about FQ. The only issue my team has had was related to the setup and mapping of our ERP entities into the FQ system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FQ allows me to view my team's status throughout close and catch any unreconciled accounts real-time.
Monthly Close
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast helps my Team keep the monthly close on track. It is helpful to have all important tasks and deadlines in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be more efficient if FloQast could connect to our ERP and update frequently, or in real-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a new suprevisor and FloQast has been extremely beneficial in helping her keep track of what needs to be done and important deadlines. FloQast has been an invaluable tool for facilitating a remote workforce, replacing paper binders and wet signatures with an electronic process.
