Auto matching of balances between reconciliations and ERP. Alerts when the balance change.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the monthly checklist, when the due date shifts because of the weekend, the checklist items are no longer in order of the checklist template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast saves me time by watching balance sheet changes and sending an alert, so that I do not have to constantly run reports from the ERP
Excellent application to manage financial close & flux analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Great application, created by experienced accountants. Additionally, their customer success team and account reps are very helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly don't really have any dislikes with the exception of not enough internal bandwidth on my team's side to really explore some of the additional functionalities outside of reconciliation management, checklist tools, and flux analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time visibility into the status of month-end close tasks, increased documentation regarding review notes and resolution, better internal controls. Overall increase in team efficiency via a very easy to understand and use application.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the ability to track my monthly and quarterly tasks in order according to the timeline is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the FloQast Reminder edit function can be updated to be more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it's the task management system that benefits me the most.
FloQast is easy to implement, intuitive and makes the month end close process more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast increases the efficiency and transparency around navigating the month-end close, including reconciliations and fluctuation analysis. FloQast is flexible and easy to use, making adding, removing and editing checklist items and reconciliations a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain updates require the involvement of the FloQast support team, such as renaming folders. However, on the occasions where we have make these types of changes the FloQast support team has responded very timely (executing our request within 1 hour of submission).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast provides a single source for the month-end close checklist and allows me to track progress versus targeted completion dates. The tool is flexible so that dates can be easily adjusted based on the changing business environment (i.e staffing changes, filing/reporting deadlines).
FloQast Helped Structure Our Month End Close Quickly and Efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast provided our organization with a tool to structure our month-end close and clearly define expectations for each team member. When I joined this company seven months ago, there were no deadlines surrounding the month-end close, and it took over a month to close the books. This will be our third month using FloQast, and we will have our books closed by the 12th business day. Our team can spend more time analyzing and investigating the current month's activity rather than constantly feeling the weight of needing to close the prior month.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to get people to adjust to using a new tool. I have had to send reminders to each person on my team to sign off on checklist items and reconciliations so that I can get a clear picture of whether we will meet the deadlines in place. Once you can get people on board and use FloQast as intended, it's excellent, but it is a bit difficult initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is a tool that provides structure, communicates expectations around deadlines, allows for visibility into where we are at with our month-end close and identifies imbalances in workloads. These were all pain points in our organization, and we are impressed at the progress our team has made since implementing FloQast.

It is an easy way to document SOX controls and provides a great audit trail for external auditors.

I wish you could upload Gsheets and GDocs.

FloQast helps with our monthly and quarterly close processes and provides visibility into the status of key controls

The checklist allows adding reminders for month-end close and the Fluxx analysis for comparison.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to figure out admin setting features for Fluxx.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we have a centralized place for tasks and the balance checks are super helpful. I like the email notices that a balance has changed or that a rec is out of balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the folders - I wish everything that was due is all just in one place so I don't have to click through different folders. It's also not super obvious on the interface what is still outstanding and I have to click through every folder. Also sometimes it's super finicky to get the balances to pull in from Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Changing accounts after the fact. Reconciliation to system verification. Giving clear responsibility and ownership to specific teammates.
Best tool for integrating all close needs : FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has an amazing user interface with great API integration with Netsuite. The GL balance integration from NS to FLoqast is fast and notification of any out-of-balance reconciliation does help in streamlining the close.
The ability to roll forward the reconciliation to next month is also a nice feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I would have liked it if the flux analysis for consolidated entities could be created automatically.
2. Ability to notify the FP&A team who doesn't have and needs access to close the folder once completing the bigger accounting sections like Cash, Prepaid, and FA.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been benefiting us by having a single tool with a user-friendly interface to track checklist items, Reconciliation, and flux analysis from the same tool instead of relying on Excel and GS.
