Helps to keep us on track and organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we have a centralized place for tasks and the balance checks are super helpful. I like the email notices that a balance has changed or that a rec is out of balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the folders - I wish everything that was due is all just in one place so I don't have to click through different folders. It's also not super obvious on the interface what is still outstanding and I have to click through every folder. Also sometimes it's super finicky to get the balances to pull in from Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Changing accounts after the fact. Reconciliation to system verification. Giving clear responsibility and ownership to specific teammates.
Best tool for integrating all close needs : FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has an amazing user interface with great API integration with Netsuite. The GL balance integration from NS to FLoqast is fast and notification of any out-of-balance reconciliation does help in streamlining the close.
The ability to roll forward the reconciliation to next month is also a nice feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I would have liked it if the flux analysis for consolidated entities could be created automatically.
2. Ability to notify the FP&A team who doesn't have and needs access to close the folder once completing the bigger accounting sections like Cash, Prepaid, and FA.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been benefiting us by having a single tool with a user-friendly interface to track checklist items, Reconciliation, and flux analysis from the same tool instead of relying on Excel and GS.
User friendly tool that greatly helps to organize the close process
What do you like best about the product?
User friendliness, ease of reporting out of the system. Clearly it has been designed with accountants in mind because most considerations around accounting close have been included as features/options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pre-defined user roles can be somewhat restrictive. Our team has also struggled more with the underlying folder structure than the tool itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of work, documentation of procedures to be performed, allocation of work among teams, audit evidence.
FloQast continues to improve and develop into must have software
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is very easy to learn, and the software routinely gets updates. They listen to their users and act on concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still needs many tweaks, especially new functionality. But they've shown in the past that they will continue to improve upon any new module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greatly assists with tracking month-end close, reconciliations, and flux analysis explanations....time saver and organizer!

What do you like best about the product?
The presentation of interface is fantastic, and it's easy to find out what we are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find anything wrong which need correction.

It help in keeping a soundtrack on various tasks and timelines and makes it clearer who is accountable, the preparer and reviewer.

Floqast is user friendly and has kept our team on track with deadlines and any tasks that need to be completed during every close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would nice to have more notifications via email regarding when someone signs off on something and you are next to sign off

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is constantly adapting changes to its product to make it more user-friendly. It does seem that they do take user critiques seriously.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that i dislike - There are some things that I think could be added to make it better.
For instance a "Due tomorrow" option - Right now there is only the opportunity to see "late" and "due today" - A "Due tomorrow" option would help with planning.

Floqast has helped with organization tremendously. I love that there is one place that allows me to see what tasks I have to complete in order to successfully complete my job.

What do you like best about the product?
I work on the close in FloQast and the functionalities are extremely helpful, the "All Workflows" Dashboard view is my go-to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new "Close" dashboard that is automatically directed to instead of the "All workflows" one.

Reducing close time, keeping team members accountable.

I like the organized layout and flexibility of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were more comprehensive. For example, we would like to maintain our SOX module (control listing, RCM, etc.) in FQ but currently FQ is only a checklist
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for oversight and access to all checklist items and reconciliations across our fleet which was unavailable prior to this tool.
