Great product, very helpful.
What do you like best about the product?
Really appreciate the collaborative nature of the product and the ability it gives me team to see where we all stand at any given point in the close.
What do you dislike about the product?
Floqast can get a little tricky when trying to follow the metrics provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast has given upper management to know exactly when the FP&A process can begin.

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps me organized. FloQast constantly improves. The implementation team listens to your business's needs and helps provide solutions and resources that actually meet those specific needs. It is not a one-size approach. Because of the folder and workflow structure, each entity can organize its workflow in how it works best for them. It provides visibility, tracking, insight, and analytics. This tool makes us work better and know where each other are in our processes more easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish FloQast had a priority function where I could rank my daily tasks as the most urgent or least important so that my daily task list was in a ranked order rather than just dependent on the folder sequence. That would be my only recommendation for improvement. Other than that, I absolutely love this program for keeping me organized and on track with all of my tasks. FloQast is better than any excel close checklist or any calendar program in my opinion. And certainly better than getting a chat message every hour asking where you are in close. Overall, such a better month end close experience with this program than other work arounds. They don't even compare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They completely solved our evidence of review issue for SOX compliance. They keep all of our documents for us. They provide a completeness check on our reconciliations which keeps us from having to do it manually. Many things have been improved because of FloQast.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization and ownership that comes from using this software. Everything is organized into folders by process and are assigned due dates. We even have our tie out support in its own folder.
What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast has a flux feature that we are not able to use for our balance and income statement level analytics provided to the auditors, due to required department mapping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using the close and reporting checklists, reconciliations, and fluxes I am able to track the status of key tasks each month and at quarter end. I can also drill down into what is trending overdue month after month.

Nothing I can think of. At a push, possibly the ability to see another month previous would be useful

Ease of month-on-month analysis of figures. It helps to identify variances we may have previously missed

It helps us to easily log our checklists for each month and Tie-outs for our recons.

being able to upload TB values, and link directly into the tool from excel. Also export the values.

sometimes the linking of the GL balances on the recon doesn't work well.

FloQast speeds up the closing process by automating many typical manual tasks, from preparing entries to reconciling accounts.

FloQast is a relatively new software, so it may still have some kinks that need to be worked out. However, these details will be solved with some updates, so users need to be patients

I use the software to track and manage close-related tasks and to-dos so that nothing falls through the cracks.

Senior Accountant Praises FloQast for Streamlining Close Process
What do you like best about the product?
I praise FloQast as a senior accountant for making the closing process quicker and more efficient. The program is designed to save users time by automating various close tasks and producing real-time reports that can be easily shared with the entire accounting team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although FloQast is an excellent software, there are two potential disadvantages that users should be aware of. The program can be expensive for small businesses or those who do not use it frequently.

FloQast is a versatile program that I use for a variety of purposes related to the closing process:

FloQast Is Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Our team has been blown away by the customer service experience delivered by FloQast. The FloQast team members have been exceptional through every stage of the process - sales, implementation, and official launch. It is apparent upon first using the system that FloQast was designed by accountants for accountants. FloQast clearly illustrates bottlenecks and inefficiencies through month-end analytics allowing management to address staffing needs and cross-training. Our implementation team provided reconciliation templates and tools that helped us automate our close process. Every month our close process gets better and better through our use of FloQast. FloQast provides structure, efficiency, and insight into month-end close procedures.
The FloQast team also encouraged us to identify other areas/processes we could use the system to improve. On their recommendation, we added additional workflows for functions such as utility management and financial reporting; it has been incredibly beneficial to use FloQast to enhance our entire Finance Department.
All questions we ask have been answered timely and have been thoroughly researched. The FloQast team provides results! If there is a feature FloQast currently doesn't offer, they will actively work to implement this in the future. FloQast team members are knowledgable, considerate, and genuinely care about the success of the companies that use their products. Our team repeatedly mentions how we wish every vendor we use were as excellent as FloQast.

We have found no downsides and have no dislikes of FloQast.

FloQast has assisted our team in providing structure and efficiency to utility management, month-end close and financial reporting procedures. We also use FloQast for Flux Analysis to quickly identify areas that need attention in our organization.
I love the many ways I can filter the checklists and reconciliations.

I love how easy FloQast is to use. The UI is clean, organized, and simple. It's beneficial to filter checklists and reconciliation data in many different ways. My favorite part is being able to track the month-end close in real-time using the workflow, i.e. it helps to highlight areas to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any issues with FloQast. Unlike other tools that we've used in the past, I haven't heard anything negative about this tool. And that says a lot!

FloQast helped us go from an unstructured month-end close to a structured month-end close. Everyone on the team can help each other stay on track with deadlines.
