FloQast is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Organization, centralization, easy to use

The expense flux analysis could be more dynamic

Close automation. Helping us keep track of changes to the financial statements and ensure we have proper audit support for our balances
Improved Efficiency, Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the accountability within Floqast. The features within FQ that allow you to see where everyone is at and the timeliness of things is very helpful. It also allows you to roll items forward rather than manually entering things. It's also nice having things in one place where we can upload and provide auditors information (while allocating the audit-related tasks to our employees). This has really helped our close.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the aesthetic is too much. I really wish that I could just see a checklist in a smaller fashion so I can better grasp what needs to be done. It is obviously great to have the additional areas (checking off what needs to be done and approvals, etc), but sometimes I just want a simple list of what I need to do rather than only having 3-4 tasks visible on the screen at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I actually had some issues with the prepaids allocation within Floqast and they fixed it and I am very thankful. In my experiences, they have provided excellent customer service and seem to really take our input to heart as I have seen multiple changes implemented.

The way you can organize your tasks and set up reminders.

That you can't synchronize the info in your calendar. I'm not sure.

Floqast greatly improved our month end close process
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature in Floqast is that it automatically alerts us to accounts that go out of balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The review note feature could be improved. It can be hard to track multiple review notes on the same file/account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segregation of duties and documenting the preparer and reviewer on all areas during close. Our auditors are happier and our lives are easier.
FQ is helpfully tool
What do you like best about the product?
You can prepare the accounts reconciliat
What do you dislike about the product?
The reconciliation accounts are fast and are easier to find the details, you don't waste your time downloading information from your ERP. FQ does it for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduce time, searching for information.
Easy to use and manage; effective and efficient reconciliations.

I really like how easy it is to navigate and manage.

FQ could use better sort/filter options on checklists.

management of month-end closing processes
FloQast has been super helpful in our month-end close!
What do you like best about the product?
The visualization of all the tasks that need to be completed for close has been super helpful so we can easily identify areas that are completed vs. need to be completed and if any areas are late.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the flux analysis, there's not an easier way to navigate to a department and you need to scroll all the way till you reach the department you want to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast allows my accounting and finance team members to easily see our progress throughout close and see what still needs to be prepared and reviewed. It makes month-end close a lot more efficient and allows more visibility.
New users of FloQast, we love the system as a whole and see the benefits already.
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has been wonderful in helping our team get organized. We have analyzed various parts of our general ledger that need improvement and have been able to identify them with the help of FloQast's reconciliation and checklist tools. We love that the entire team can add new checklist items for special projects they may be given, and know that utilizing this will help spread workload out more evenly over our team as a whole.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found anything that we've really disliked so far. We felt implementation went really well and everything is pretty clear and easy to understand the processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping us to keep track of all of our general ledger accounts, making sure nothing is falling through the cracks each month. We also really enjoy the amortization and auto-rec tools provided. The auto-rec tool will really help us as we have many cash accounts and a large amount of cash transactions on a monthly basis.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Floqast has helped make my job nearly paperless. I used to go through at least a ream per month. Plus it keeps most important documents in one place. (Not all yet - we're still a work in progress)
What do you dislike about the product?
There is more work upfront during the close - when everything is very busy anyway. Part of that could be the learning curve. But it cuts way back on post-close processes - completing recs and printing documents.

too much paper. post-close procedures.
Recent Implementation to Assist with Audits
What do you like best about the product?
We recently implemented FloQast to help streamline our Payroll Process. The process included several groups (Payroll, benefits, and compensation) and was done through emails and excel checklists. The FloQast system allows us to maintain everything used for the payroll in one system and is easy to export for Audit purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the system can be confusing, especially if you have multiple folders/checklists. However, if you have a great rep as we do, Katy Woodward & Erin Cox, they will help you figure it out. It is just a matter of going through everything once or twice as with any new system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The FloQast system allows us to maintain everything used for the payroll in one system and is easy to export for Audit purposes. This will, hopefully, cut down on time to pull together requested audit materials.
