Excellent Platform for Accounting Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Transparency about the status for the work that our entire team is performing. This allows us to ensure that we are on track to meet the goals that we have set out at the start of the month.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of floqast are that there is no way to link actual files to the deliverable that we are tracking. If we were able to tag our ending files that have been signed off on here, that would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast is solving the problem of transparency in the workplace and allowing us to track the progress of our entire team, the review progress and eventually getting an idea of if we are going to meet the deadlines that have been set for our team.
Nice experience for the most part
What do you like best about the product?
Much better than using excel to track. Good that it sends email notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like if:
One-off tasks that non-admins add could be recurring
I didn't have to hoover over something to see if task or JE
Documents could be dragged into that middle document section
Notes could be edited after saving
I were notified if one of my items is approved (instead of having to put an eye on everything)

Love this Software!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast organizes not only my close workflow but that of my entire team. It makes it easy for me to see exactly where everyone is in the close process. It also keeps me audit-ready all year long!
What do you dislike about the product?
The flux analysis tool is still a little clunky. We have to use an excel spreadsheet and go through some hoops to update the flux analysis every time there is an update to the TB. We use QB desktop for many of our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast keeps our entire team and our clients on the same page during the close. It also maintains all our work papers and month-end reconciliations in an easy-to-use and organized format. Our audit prep time is incredibly short as we are basically audit ready every month with this tool.

This helps you and your team reveiw and make sense of your close faster and more insightful than anything else out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
some things arent as instant or fully automated as i like, but FloQast is constantly working on making it better and listening to its users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
just reccing out my accounts and having a set routine of responsibilities for month end
Excellent tool for tracking Journal Entries and Reconciliations
What do you like best about the product?
The reconciliation matching & checklists help me meet or beat my deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
No notifications after signing off on reconciliations. I have to log back in and check to see if someone made a change to an account that caused an account to be out of balance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our organization ensure that accounting tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Stakeholders can see when their timelines have changed and adjust their workflows accordingly.
Needs improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Able to verify and confirm balances, provides a good overview of the requirements to close a month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of a better view of outstanding items and or a calendar instead of hundred emails. Needs to provide a better picture of the whole process during a month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The verification, review and approval of the process.
Good tool for speeding up reconciliations
What do you like best about the product?
Synchronization with accounting software to see if balances match
What do you dislike about the product?
Slowness synchronizing with Intacct compared to with QBO, occasional issues synchronizing with OneDrive or slow sync with OneDrive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed of sychronizing reconcilations w/ accounting software
FloQast is very useful to help reconciling and updating accounts
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have all accounts in one view or being able to collapse and see individual accounts as needed. I like the upload feature. It makes it simple to move the data out of folders in drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside I have experienced is that it can be extremely slow at times. Sometimes taking up to an hour to upload/update items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It minimizes a lot of the manual reconciliation process.
Simple but robust
What do you like best about the product?
I am a new user to Floqast and have used a competitor in a prior job. I love that the recs can still be performed in Excel. The dashboard is so clean and easy to read.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing is that dependencies (for example, "watching" and getting notified when a recon or checklist step is completed) must be turned on each month and cannot be carried to the next month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast allows you to always know the answer to the age old question "Where are we at with the close" with one simple click. We've shortened our close cycle dramatically since adopting.

Easy to see where you are with checklist
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding review items is extremely cumbersome, especially if they are in an email. Need to make it easy to drag and drop files into FloQast. Too many steps and takes too much time now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefit is mostly for our internal auditors and corporate reviewers.
