Awesome for accounting
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast helps my team stay organized and on track. I really appreciate the notes feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the reconciliations do not match up correctly between the bank and NetSuite detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast solves the problem of missing deadlines. It benefits me that there are reminders about what tasks are due.
FloQast is easy to implement and is very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast gives a snapshot in real time of the Finance Team's progress with close tasks. It helps team members plan their close efficiently. The comparison of reconciliation balances to NetSuite balances helps team members see if transactions posted that need to be addressed or added to reconciliation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the ability to bulk update checklist and reconciliation items by due date, like the current process to bulk re-assign preparer/reviewer. Due dates are easy to update through the templates in settings, but if one-off changes have been made during the month, these changes are overwritten by updating templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping to organize the close process. Tasks are transparent to all of the Finance Team, which is important so that questions can be raised to the appropriate person if needed.
Close Tracking Enhanced
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has been great in helping us track our close process and provide analytics to show how we are evolving from period to period. It is great to log in and see an exact picture of where we are at each close status-wise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily any dislikes. The technology is somewhat new and always evolving so there is a little learning curve with that but all positive changes which are good!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast helps us more seamlessly track our close progress. We are able to set due dates, preparers, reviewers, and the frequency a task is performed, which really goes a long way in giving us data on our close process.
Its easy to use and very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
If your task is not completed then it's giving you reminder again and again till you complete the task

I like everything in it so there is no dislike nothing are there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a very good software to use its giving me the benefit to completing my record
Easy to use, great UI, definitely worth the price to decrease the time to close
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is easy to use and easy to implement. It has allowed us to easily track our close progress and make sure all required tasks are complete. We can track bottlenecks easily which allows us to free up resources as needed to better manage the close. FloQast allows us to import excel files that our ERP system, Sage Intacct, can easily export. It tracks our review notes and their status as well so we have everything with our close in one place. I previously used this software at another company and loved it so much that I have been discussing getting a subscription with management since I moved. Unfortunately, the Company was too small at the time but as soon as its size warranted the switch, we moved to FloQast.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, I have not found anything significant that I dislike about FloQast. It would be nice if FloQast could develop additional features such as fixed asset depreciation and roll forward tools. There are a few small items I would like such as the ability to customize the order of tasks besides the due dates. Overall the software is very intuitive, easy to use, and has very little to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has allowed our accounting team to increase the time to close. This has allowed our FP&A team more time for analysis and we have been able to start delivering financial data to our management team and board in a much timelier manner. It has easily saved us 3 plus days of close time. It has also allowed us to cut down time on certain tasks such as manual follow-up with various internal and external parties which has allowed us to decrease the time to close. The Flux tool in FloQast has moved the responsibility of the flux analysis from management to our accounting team which has enabled them to be proactive in making sure the balances in each account appear reasonable.
Great Product for Automating the Accounting Close
What do you like best about the product?
The automation of the FloQast tool is excellent. It provides the accounting team with easy insights into what is completed and what still needs to be worked on and wrapped up each month and quarter end in terms of monthly and quarterly steps and reconciliations. FloQast allows you to create requests with frequencies that might not be available in other software, such as non-recurring, weekly, bi-weekly, annually, and specific months.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about FloQast from the perspective of a Senior Accountant, as the tool shows me everything that needs to be done each day of the close timeline and helps to keep things on track. I would say the only downside is that it requires buy-in from all involved parties (e.g. FP&A, Operations, etc.) to make the tool worthwhile, and on occasion, this buy-in can take some time to achieve. However, when the groups outside of accounting see how useful the tracking of requests and daily tasks can be with FloQast, the buy-in usually comes along quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping my company speed up the closing process and ensure everyone is on time with their deliverables and monthly/quarterly checklist items and reconciliations. It has and will continue to trim the days to close. FloQast also enables managers and above to track the progress of their team(s) to ensure no one is falling behind on their deliverables and direct any assistance to those who may be a day or two behind on their work during a close period.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see all account changes by linking it directly to your accounting system provides high-level review automation. It provides visibility, especially to reviewers, if anything changes post review. For preparers, the understand of timelines helps manage workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the FQ reminders continued to remind the user if a task was more than one day. Currently, if a task is due Day 2 the user only gets a notification on Day 3. Additionally, there is a cool feature called FloQast Remind, which sends a person in the company an email requesting infromation. However, after the initial request, the emails are sent to the requestee daily but include vague language, such as please provide a requested item.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides team members a wholistic way to view all of the tasks assigned to them with due date, providing better delegation and workflow management.
Easy to use system with exceptional service from FQ team.
What do you like best about the product?
FQ is intuitive and easy to use, and the reconciliation features ensure all recs are completed for an efficient month-end close.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality is limited if looking to use checklists for processes other than month-end close.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FQ keeps our accounting team on track at month-end and ensures no tasks are missed. It is easy to add new ad-hoc tasks and have recurring tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is everything we need to manage our close process. It's simple, intuitive, affordable, and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Excel-based model can be difficult to set up when utilizing One Drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The close checklist feature is probably my favorite. It allows us to automate the close process, assign tasks to different users, and add/subtract/change on a monthly basis if needed.
Fantastic experience, great Customer support, a little light on Features
What do you like best about the product?
FQ makes coordinating close incredibly easy! Also team has good Customer Service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see some deeper features built in and some quality-of-life improvements. For example, I'd love to see a deeper integration with ERPs allowing things like JE's to account for reconciliing balances to be automatically posted back in to the ERP. In addition, things like mass changes for Flux responsibilities would be helpful.
