easy checklists
What do you like best about the product?
easy check list items that's easliy sortable by month with clear sign offs. easy to maintain and add items as well as a good note system. you can assign and leave follow ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to keep track of check list items when you cross over months. you may have a past due item but you don't see it becuse you have the wrong month selected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure that all month end items are done and reviewed without having to rely on a giant unwieldly spreadsheet that can be easily altered or deleted by anyone with access.
FloQast, Helpful, User-Friendly Account Management System
What do you like best about the product?
Having a checklist where I choose what I view for all clients is helpful in getting into a routine per month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading documents sometimes can cause for the system to freeze or documents to not refresh properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently not aware of any new updates.
FloQast is the greatest close management software system!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is so user-friendly. It's aesthetically pleasing and so easy to navigate. We've successfully reduced the length of our close from 25+ days to less than 10 all with the use of FloQast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say the only downside to FloQast is not having the ability to link multiple documents to different folders. We have reconciliations that span a few different accounts and in order for them to tie out to the other folders, we need to copy and paste the reconciliation. This has caused version control issues that could be mitigated if it was possible to link and have a single version of a document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is solving the problem of a longer, drawn-out close process. The dashboard is so helpful to see where we are in the close, whether ahead of schedule, in line with the schedule, or behind schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
ability to view the status of the entire entity in one place with regards to the close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the filtering abilities were better. Also interface between Excel and FQ sometimes is not speedy

Easy to use software for reconciliations
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast has a very to use interface. Only takes a few clicks to get to what I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a little slow to refresh through the various subsidiaries. But nothing major.

Being able to list all taks that need to completed for the close.

I feel like the email notifications could be improved. They don't seem to be consistent.

User Friendly and time saving FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
Checklist, Recon, Notes, Flux Analysis and Folders grouping

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly on-time closure of month-end activities and GL recon. and saves our time & labour
FloQast's close software does everything you need at a sensible price.
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is very good at engaging with its customers to find out what improvements the customers would make, what new functionality they'd like to see, and introducing new features. When using FloQast, you can sign off on items that are complete, but also leave review comments that are assigned to preparers or reviewers of anything you had to change for the tasks, allowing for coaching within the tool that helps improve efficiency over time. FloQast makes a remote close go very smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things I don't like about FloQast. It can take time for changes to the GL to update in the reconciliation system, though that usually resolves in a day, and the OneDrive folders can take time to update too. The dashboard does very well at showing your outstanding checklist items and reconciliations, but I'd also like to see my outstanding flux items on the dashboard as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a company that does a mostly remote close, FloQast is essential. It helps the finance team stay more connected on critical tasks that need to be completed, and ensures that no tasks are being missed for a more accurate close. If ever a quarter comes around that we realize that we haven't put a task in FloQast, then it is super easy to add to the tool for that period and going forward, so it doesn't just help with close specific items, it also helps with any tasks that may be less frequent than monthly.
FQ helps organize your Month-End Close
What do you like best about the product?
Flux Analysis page and being able to track when schedules are completed .
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having a button where you can roll forward ALL the folders at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing the month-end close. Quicker close time
positive but lacks some features of other products but competes well on price for small companies
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track close progress through check lists, accuracy through automatically checking reconciliation balances, as well as checking sign-offs on reconciliations is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to prepare flux analysis on all dimensions available in netsuite, missing some features other products have such as journal entry posting/controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking close progress, accuracy and timeliness, standardizing the close process across subsidiaries, aligning acquired subsidiaries, tracking foreign subsidiaries.
