An Accountant's dream!!
What do you like best about the product?
A to-do list and reconciliation in one - love that it syncs directly to Sage Intacct. Saves so much time pulling in a GL each time there is a change in accounts. My favorite feature is using Slack to access my to-do list of what is due today, tomorrow, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can't hide certain GL accounts from other users on the team such as payroll and commission accruals. Sometimes the GL accounts doesn't register when it syncs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves so much time and proves a lot more clarity to the managers as far as percentage the close is complete. Also like having a to-do list everyday. Been a game changer!

FloQast, Major Key to Smooth Closing
What do you like best about the product?
The main thing I really like about FloQast is how it's a center point for the team to check on the status of the month-end close process. Being able to check on the status of my tasks as well as the tasks of my team members provides timely, relative, and useful data points!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish FloQast could improve on would be the integration with Box and the updating of the reconciliation balances. It's understandable that updating the data could take a while given the size of it, but any optimizations to that would be very welcome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With FloQast, our team has been able to improve our overall close process. Recently, we have greatly benefitted from the Flux Reports feature as we have been able to consolidate movement on a more generalized level that makes our flux analysis more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool that will help with keeping track of tasks or more specifically to help with the accounting close cycle, but also prioritize a great UI/UX, FloQast is what you're looking for!

FloQast Has Made Tracking My close tasks Easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Checklist section the best. It helps me stay on top of my tasks and due dates. I also love how it syncs to NetSuite so I can see that I can see when my reconciliations tie out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that you could drill into the accounts when going through the flux anaylisis. It would be nice if you could click on the difference and then it would open the GL details for that account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are setting better deadlines and finishing out closer in a more timely manner. I am getting more tasks completed and even getting a head start on the tasks for next month.

What do you like best about the product?
It syncs with netsuite with as simple click of a button.

Looking for the floqast folder in my sharepoint.

Everyone knows what they're supposed to prepare and review and reminders are sent out.

The daily reminders and how easy is to keep track of month-end tasks and reconciliations.
I love the checklist and reconciliation functions. Another feature I like is the out-of-balance email notifications. Now the preparer and reviewer are notified on time that changes need to be made. Saving us time and headaches explaining to the auditors why our reconciliations don't match the GL.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints so far. Everything seems to work great. I only wish there was a refresh bottom on the checklist page as well. However, I'm sure this is something easily customizable and that I just need to make FloQast aware of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has helped the team to keep their tasks and deadlines on track. Our month-end process has substantially improved. It has also helped us streamline our procedures and quickened our close.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a must-have tool for any Accounting Team - the software helps my Team stay organized and accountable, and helps improve transparency to ensure a smoother and cleaner month-end close every month. Our Customer Success Manager(s) have been amazing and we're excited about the new products the FloQast Team is working on!
What do you dislike about the product?
There honestly aren't that many downsides/ dislikes to FloQast - it's super simple and easy to integrate/ set-up! The ability to roll forward files in bulk by month vs each process folder would be a nice to have but honestly it doesn't take that long to complete the task just a nice to have to automate this piece a little more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast helps solve a lot - analytics on our close trends (which reconciliations/ checklist items are consistently late so we know who to work with on the Team to address and understand what's causing the tardiness), ability to see what's pending or open regarding a reconciliation (via the Notes functionality which provides transparency across the team on what is wrong or not being captured in a reconciliation), and the ability to pull real-time syncs back to our ERP system to notify us if balances are no longer in sync.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FloQast is well worth it - this software will help keep your accounting team more organized and help you stick to your close deadline and also help you address problem areas on what monthly issues are!!
The gold standard for me on ease of use, effectiveness and flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation (we were using FQ for close within 1 month). Intuitive presentation, it didn't take a lot of training to be effective in using it. Organization of close duties and personnel, reducing the risk of steps falling through the cracks or off the radar. It supercharges team communication during close making meetings targetted and effective and less time spent on status updates. Flexibility in passing tasks between team members. It reduces the burden on the team during audits as much of the PBC list can be retrieved "self serve" by the audit team with their own secured login. It has made the onboarding of new staff much easier as we can include explanations and tools in each checklist step. Also, the FQ company culture shows in everything they do.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't yet push a review note to the next month (have to mark the note resolved and closed and post it again the next month or leave the step and folder area unlocked until all tied up). This is functionality that has been mentioned in webinars though, so it's forthcoming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has cut the close time in half already and analytics in it is helping us identify the pinch points to further cut down the time to close. It controlled for software that was posting into A/P when A/P was locked (before the period was locked). It has seriously helped with the onboarding of new personnel involved in the close as all but one team member has retired and handed off their role to someone new since the software was implemented a few years back.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast allows our company to store all of our account reconciliations and supporting documentation while capturing our review notes and sign-offs. In addition, we're able to use their Flux Analytics and capture our signoff as well. The team over at FloQast is another reason we have chosen to use them, and they are always responsive and open to questions and suggestions; it's a product built by accountants for accountants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of currently at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to document our signoff and flux analytics properly. In addition, it enables us to see where we're at in the close process and where other team members might be falling behind and could use some additional support.
Implementation and working review of FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a systematic tool for compiling all month end related activities in a form of Checklists, Uploading Reconciliations, checking auhtority and repsonsibility of work assigned
What do you dislike about the product?
Its been 2 months that we have implemented FloQast, we only faced some technical issues like file uploaded converted in Google sheet and when we open that google sheet through hyperlink, it doesnt open properly for pivots
