What do you like best about the product?
that it easy to use this product. Been using for many years and never had any issues.

I dislike that there are not more GUI functions.

Nothing. It basically able to provide and support the needed requirements

What do you like best about the product?
I like high availability and scalability features, which allow me to separate the data while getting secure DB solution and paying only for the time and disk space I use. I also like creation DB withing taking care about underlying OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can only compare with AWS and GCP. I feel the solution is not so mature from user interface, so there is some opportunities for improvements. Howerever, becides that I still thik the solution is really good and can cover all my business cases.

I reaaly got no-DBA solution.

the installation is fairlz easz, tho is usage is verz hard if you"re using it a a product whih is bundled with other software

All of the above: It is hard to use the database without specialied knowledge

We need to use it in combination with other products where it is just shipped with it

What do you like best about the product?
Dependability, datasharing, one change is noted buy all DB2 subsystem in the datasharing group
What do you dislike about the product?
Recovery... espically if the recovery logs are not available

We would like to expand our use replication products for DB2... we currently use Q-REP with MQ as the trancfer layer... we are still testing... but having issues with page set size... max is 64G... not sure if this will be enough room to support 24 hours
Excellent, stable product for ECM
What do you like best about the product?
We use DB2 for our IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition environment. We went through the tuning process and the product practically runs itself. We tuned the environment when we hooked up CMIS but generally do not need to adjust anything. We also implemented PowerShell-based maintenance scripts which are able to use DB2 features to dynamically calculate which tables need to be run through the maintenance process for things like runstats and reorgs. This has greatly lowered our maintenance window over the static scripts we used to employ.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be rather daunting to figure out solutions for things like database replication due to production name changes and rebranding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use DB2 for our IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition and IBM Content Manager OnDemand systms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product is far easier to install, configure and maintain than other products like Oracle.
