Of the Best
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Atlassian Atlas is how it manages to get everyone on the same page without complications. It's a super clear and collaborative tool that naturally connects teams, projects, and goals. Thanks to its simple updates and integration with other platforms, working feels more fluid, more focused, and above all, more human.

Feature Rich, complex for simpler projects
What do you like best about the product?
Richness of features, completeness, best in class
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity, user interface, slow, hard to use in simpler contexts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business and Jira / Bitbucket adopters, we were trying to have a single point of view for our activities. Unfortunately, we found the overall complexity of the suite overwhelming for our needs.
Keeping Teams Aligned with Clarity and Context
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Atlas gives high-level project updates in a simple, consistent format. It reduces the noise of detailed Jira tasks and helps keep stakeholders informed without digging into multiple tools. The automated weekly reminders for updates and the ability to follow projects across teams have really improved alignment and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Atlas is great for status sharing, it currently lacks deeper integration with Jira for syncing progress automatically. Also, there's limited customization for the update format or frequency. It works well for smaller teams, but scaling across large orgs still feels a bit manual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Atlassian Atlas solves the problem of poor visibility and misalignment across cross-functional teams. Traditional tools like Jira are too detailed for high-level stakeholders, and status meetings are time-consuming. Atlas provides a centralized place for consistent, lightweight updates, making it easier to track project health and dependencies. This has helped us reduce status meetings, improve transparency, and ensure everyone stays on the same page—even across departments.

What do you like best about the product?
We can now manage all our projects in one place with clear workflows and sprint planning. Team members receive real-time notifications on updates, comments, and changes, which keeps everyone aligned and reduces the need for constant check-ins or status meetings. We can build custom dashboards tailored to each team’s needs and generate automated reports that provide insights into progress, bottlenecks, and team performance without manual effort. We now have much-needed security controls, allowing us to manage access at the project and issue level, ensuring sensitive information is only visible to the right people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many users find that Atlas requires a lot of manual updates. For example, team members must regularly update goals, post weekly status updates, and maintain their team profiles. This can become tedious and time-consuming, especially for larger teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have aligned cross-functional teams around clear objectives. Every right person can see how their work contributes to the bigger picture, which keeps us focused and on the same page. We have significantly reduced delays and improved our delivery timelines. We can now confidently manage sensitive data and meet compliance requirements for maintaining customer trust.
