What do you like best about the product?
Certainly! Atlassian's suite of products, including Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence, each brings unique strengths to the table.

Jira: Streamlined Project Management

I appreciate Jira's robust project management capabilities, which provide a clear and customizable workflow for teams to track and manage tasks efficiently.

Bitbucket: Seamless Code Collaboration

Bitbucket stands out for its smooth integration with Git, which fosters collaboration among developers. The pull request and code review features contribute to a streamlined development process.

Confluence excels in creating and organizing collaborative documentation. The ease of creating, sharing, and updating content makes it a valuable tool for knowledge management within teams.

In summary, Atlassian's suite excels in offering a comprehensive ecosystem that addresses different aspects of project management, code collaboration, and documentation, allowing teams to work seamlessly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Atlassian's products, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, are widely used and praised, there are some common critiques that users have raised:

Jira: Complex Interface

Some users find Jira's interface overwhelming, with a steep learning curve and potential complexity for smaller teams.

Confluence: Formatting Challenges

Users occasionally encounter challenges with formatting in Confluence, impacting the overall editing experience.

Bitbucket: Free Version Limitations

The free version of Bitbucket has restrictions on users and repositories, which may be limiting for smaller teams or individual developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Atlassian's suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, solves challenges in project management, collaboration, and development. Jira streamlines work tracking, Confluence enhances collaboration and documentation, and Bitbucket facilitates seamless code collaboration and version control. Am Using Atlassian Jira to create Defects, Test Suites, Test cases, Milestones for product Release

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With Atlassian Jira, i can do Sprint planning Milestones by Creating Product Release Stories in which we can Add Bugs and Defects for the Release. We can easily Create Defects as it has all the Defect Categories, Defects Severity, and Assigne Fields to track the Defects easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
From this Jan 2023, Atlassian jira has brought New UI Design to its Web page layout and its somewhat Frustrating to understand some Functionality and Options, as we users are very much Accustomed to Old UI of Atlassian Jira, which is Seamless and more Convenient to Understand & Use. For Average Users, many of the Important Options like Creating Subtask, View in Search, issue Details are not easy to find immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Atlassian Jira allows me to Organize all Sprint Releases, and Milestones in Separate Kanban Board and easily Export Defects Reports for any Project Release with many Filter options like adding Date, Status, Severity etc. Also, i can easily Schedule Development Release, Test Pass or Fail the Project Release Stories and Notify every Project Development & Testing Team to Work on Critical, High Priority Defects and Stories for timely Completion of work before Release Sprint time ends.

Atlassian Atlas Review

  • December 22, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration externally with other apps like Slack as well as internally with the Atlassian suite of products - love how it interfaces with Jira and Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic feeling UI, still very new to market so there are some features lacking like documentation in order for it to catch up to the likes of Asana, Monday.com, etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy snapshot of where a project currently stands & collaboration across teams.

Being able to create an overall initiative with subtasks assignable cross-functionally.

Project status in quick time using Atlassian Atlas

  • November 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A place for all the projects in one place, where people from different teams collaborate and know the status, team members, and history.
Integration with Jira and Confluence brings us rich metadata and help teams to understand the context better with information from Jira, & Confluence.
The learning section is very good for quickly identifying the findings and various thoughts of the project.
Multiple projects contributing towards a specific goal is a very useful feature as there may be a scenario where different teams work towards building software or working towards the goal.
We get to see the Project status by category such as "On track", "At risk", "Off track", "No update", & "Completed"
The status and history of the project update in one view helps the team to get the gist of the status of the project by week
A weekly digest of Atlas on the Project updates is a very good feature.
Goals by various timelines and the goal scoring feature help us track the milestones more granularly for one or more projects.
Atlassian Team being used across multiple products helps unify the experience across the products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Atlas has still improvements for integration with Jira & Confluence.
Chat Integration Support such as Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Slack, & Custom bot Integrations.
Documentation is not yet in GA or is not available on the general site as one we see with Jira/Confluence, although the product has been made GA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A quick view of milestones we have achieved across projects for a specific goal or set of goals.
How multiple teams are contributing towards the milestone
Connection with Atlassian products like Jira, and Confluence has helped us with rich metadata.
Dividing a goal into a sub-goal and then working towards that goal has helped respective teams look at how each team is progressing with their work and quickly look at the status of projects by categories.
saying goodbye to unnecessary meetings has helped using Atlas!!
