Postman is an essential tool for API development
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Postman handles collections. I work on lots of different projects and it is very easy to organize API calls in groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there is limited support for GraphQL queries. It can be done, but it is less intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman for planning and mocking APIs as I build back end services. I have found success in developing with fewer problems because I can test endpoints immediately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The more you integrate Postman into your workflow the more effective it will be for you. Setting up your testing and mocks takes things to the next level.

Get and Post methods are user friendly also It can be easily accessible

The web app and application should be always in Sync where there is a delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I told above, Get and Post Payloads and raw responses are solving most of the problems
Flexible and Friendly UI
What do you like best about the product?
The way you can save collections of API and have the flexibility to manipulate different payloads accordingly. The UI is also very intuitive and clean.
The Bootcamp section was a very useful learning resource that I see useful to New Hires or new graduate students looking into API development.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the History seems too cluttered. Maybe when I send the same requests a lot of times with a minute change they can be shown as a tree structure with the dropdown containing all the changes done to a particular API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have using Postman to stress test some personal projects I have before deploying them online. It was accessible and lightweight in my experience, which helped me to quickly test out changes I made to the code base I was working on.
In terms of work, I like that there are collaborative spaces that my small team uses frequently to check and test our APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman helps in integrating several APIs like Google API, DnB and also some middleware API at an extensive ease.
The best part I like is we can export and import the APIs using programming language like Python,etc.
It can provide results with multiple responses as well.
And the UI here is the best I can say when compared to its alternates.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I can find a reason to dislike it. Each and every feature available is straight forward. The only thing I would like to suggest is to bring up the ability of running multiple APIs in parallel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to call the default APIs and also some middleware third party designed APIs from Postman.
It helped me in comparing the throughput of several APIs.
I use a lot of Post and Delete operations to test my application endpoints.

A highly recommended tool if you are searching for any API related application, and most commonly used by back-end developers.
Anyone couldn't find the best UI in any other software application for such an efficient purpose.
So just go for Postman and you will be amazed with your experience.

too user-friendly Ui and easy to use.and also available on free for the basic version. takes less ram.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing many issues with it.it will best if I put the data type also in the input field.

I am working as an app developer so for me fetch the exact data from API before implementation is much important.postman makes it easy. here I can also save them for the future.

Best way to test out your restful API's
What do you like best about the product?
I love that postman is simplistic enough to check out endpoints in your api allowing you to test out what data can be output on your localhost server. I also love that it allows you to change the headers to test vulnerabilities in your api.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the need for having an account to actually use it. I feel uncomfortable having a history of the endpoints I tested out being sent to Postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With postman, we use it to test out the endpoint of our Backend API. We have found this the easiest way to see how data is being transmitted from the end-user to the backend-client. We realized this was the fastest way to achieve it as they gave you all the tools to mimic a browser's request.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using Postman to test out your API, it very easy and makes building a backend system alot easier.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a platform that allows you to better manage all the company's APIs. It provides you with a good interface to navigate without problems, it has very complete tools and functions that give you a more fluid and efficient work, one of them is the automatic documentation, since when creating the API requests, it is generated automatically. With Postman we save a lot of valuable time that we focus on the weakest areas of the company. We are happy with the results obtained.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not had any problems with this platform, however it would be ideal if the number of requests was not limited, this would increase the performance and productivity of the user within the platform. Postman is good software, we have reached goals and in a very short time.

We use Postman to develop and directly test our APIs, in this way we execute our requests easily, interact, test external web services and also allow us to perform maintenance on our APIs where it is not necessary to have a user interface. Our developers have a great tool that creates an ideal workspace for them, which gives them total fluidity and optimum performance, as well as increased productivity. Its tools and functions are easy to use, this saves us time that we can redistribute in other areas of the company that are a little neglected or the objectives set have not been reached and thus increase your productivity. In general it is very complete and allows us to grow exponentially.

It is a great tool that when compared with other software is simply above them, it is standard of the industry and easy to use, it does not have a steep learning curve, it is without a doubt the best job site for developers will save a lot of time and work fluently, they simplify their tasks but at the same time it becomes more precise and efficient. Totally recommended.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps in testing APIs in secured ways. It helps teams and developers to efficiently work together and collaborate. It helps in executing an HTTP request. It helps in automating annual API testing methods. It helps to build your APIs before code deployment. It has various front-end and back-end developments teams which help in reducing the time of developing time as they are working parallel. Previous testing history is saved in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a wide variety of features but most of them are costly which are not suitable for beginners or small businesses. Limited free features and tools are provided in it you have to buy subscription-based features if more are needed. Autocorrect text formats should be provided in it. It has limited capabilities of automation. It also has limited features for generating reports.

It helps in making APIs in any calls. It helps in integrating suites of tests in Newman CI. It helps in submitting APIs and viewing responses with needing any browser. It helps in achieving group requests of APIs. It is also helpful in the modification of different parameters. It helps to exports various collection of text. User will be able to collaborate in real-time through it. It continuously notifies you about your APIs performance and health.
Invaluable tool for RESTful APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Repeatable tests can be run in a sequential order without needing to write a script in a programming language and are easily imported and exported and results are logged for each test run and the resource utilization in the machine is low so several instances can be run in parallel. The collection runner has easily saved me half of my work week for the last 2 years giving me more free time to actually code since the tests are run so easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Postman but as useful as it is it doesn't catch all bugs some problems are browser-related and unless you test directly on a browser even with postman interceptor. Having a plugin for each browser would make postman even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dealing with API calls after modifications and unit testing before a new feature goes live.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
By reading the documentation you can save yourself a few hours at worst I know I didn't and wished that I did it in time.
