Very good API end point system for quick sanity tests with REST
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent tool for API automation with runner. It is a nice tool to access our API end points. API customization is very simple. We can able to do lots of testing automation. It helps to validate REST API functionality. It is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
More documents needed to do automation technique. GraphQL support should be added. No more drawbacks to say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very user friendly. We can able to sync chrome sessions. It is very reliable. Import and export functionality is very simple. we can able to share collection to other employees. easily make various work spaces, depends on our needs.

API customization is very simple. We can able to do lots of testing automation. It helps to validate REST API functionality. It is very user friendly. So i strongly recommend it to other developers.

What do you like best about the product?
Tool that helps us to manage the API. It would also provide opportunity to test the given API and give us the correct output

Postman provides the ability only to test a single API at one time.

I use the postman to check and test APIs developed for the backend done by me. And postman makes it easy to create and share the API documentation with other team members.

Postman is awesome for HTTP request testing and automation
What do you like best about the product?
Postman provides the ability to store the HTTP request by collections and sub-collections. This is great if you have multiple systems standalone or integrated together. I've not reach a limit in the amount of HTTP request you can store on a collection but for now is huge!
You can work with all the HTTP methods and Postman will allow you to store those with the desired method even if the URI is the same.
Another awesome feature is the environment variables and global variables. You can set those for a UAT, QA, DEV, or Production environments. Works perfectly. You will be able to even combine these variables with a Pre-Test script. For example you could set a date time String with a desired format and store it as a variable, then you can use this variable within your HTTP request (in the URI or body)

I dislike the inconsistent updates. I had huge amount of Examples one or many per HTTP request stored and those got corrupted or lost when updating Postman to a newer version.
I have to delete cookies every time I'm doing a request to avoid systems to pick up the wrong credentials or data. This do not happen with all of the systems I'm submitting HTTP requests to.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use when it comes to testing to new endpoints. Covers your bases incredibly well for new APIs and such.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a direct translation of what body parameters/headers maybe sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made my work a whole lot easier. Considering I do a handful of IOS development, this application saves me loads of time.
Lightweight, simple to use platform for API calls
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is my go-to when I want to quickly test an API without having to go through a cumbersome web framework. I like how the params, headers and body are all specified in separate tabs so that you won't get them confused. The ability to view call history is also really nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to get used to for novice web developers as it requires good knowledge of how HTTP requests and responses work. Has a lot of advanced settings and options that can quickly get confusing. Lacks a "beginner" UI for just the most simple functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to test APIs, both local and remote, when developing applications at work. This can greatly help with debugging.

Intuitivo, semplice da utilizzare. Anche la versione free fornisce numerosi strumenti per lo sviluppo, il debug, il testing e il monitoraggio di API tutto con la possibilità di collaborare con i membri del proprio team.
E' possibile gestire il versionamento delle API.
Utilissima la possibilità di testare in ambienti multipli semplicemente passando pià indirizzi.
Molto utile inoltre la parte di learning direttamente integrata sul launchpad dell'applicazione. Diferse lezioni e tutoria sono disponibili per apprendere più velocemente l'utilizzo del software.
La UI risulta essere davvero confortevole grazie all'implementazione del tema dark.
Molto utile anche la history per richiamare, avendo a portata di mano, quanto implementato in precedenza.
E' possibile gestire il versionamento delle API.

Anche se il costo del prodotto non è eccessivamente elevato, alcune funzionalità molto utili sono disponibili solamente nella versione a pagamento. Confrontando altri software simili queste vengono offerte gratuitamente.
