-Postman supports a wide range of different API types, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL

What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike much about this fantastic tool, but it can be slow for large datasets or complex requests.

Postman made my testing very easy

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman has a clean and intuitive user interface, making it easy to navigate and use even for beginners. It also offers collaboration features that allow teams to work together efficiently. You can share collections, environments, and documentation with team members, enabling seamless collaboration during API development and testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman can sometimes experience performance issues when working with large collections or environments. As the number of requests, scripts, and variables increases, the application's performance decreases, leading to slower response times and occasional lag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solved my problem of testing existing feature whenever a new feature is pushed to prod, I made an automation test on postman which I could execute with a single click, this saves me a lot of time of manually testing every feature.

Powerful collaboration tool for API develoment

  • June 06, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly interface and the screen is very clean. You don't get loose in the UI. Good collaboration and sharing options. Postman allows you to write and run automated tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to use at the beginning but if you want to master the whole capabilities that need more time and learning. The free plan is very limited, you only can have 4 o 5 people in a workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to have one place where I can test my APIs and share them with my colleagues. I don't need to know about the format of the calls because Postman does all the format work for me.

Powerful tool, that is easy to use

  • June 02, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very easy to use. I had never used it before I started this job and now use it every day. It is very easy to setup and navigate as well as create collections and recall previously used queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using predefined parameters and endpoints, it is sometimes hard to tell which environment you are trying to connect to. So when trying to pull information I will get an authentication issue. This is an issue on me, but having it more pronounced in the UI would help prevent this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman allows us to quickly test and confirm that APIs are working properly. As an integrator, I can quickly send test files to or get files from a variety of endpoints with ease.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing which I want to see improvement is to be able to test the API for multiple users at the same time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to identify the problem at the backend level which helps a lot

  • April 28, 2023
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

We use the solution for rest API testing purposes.

What is most valuable?

The solution's most valuable feature is code-based API testing. The technicians have complete control over the business logic code in the test tool.

The solution's price is reasonable. We pay around £70 a month for it. I rate its pricing as one.
