Pretty and clean Dashboard Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The clean and very intuitive Dashboards!
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is hard to climb but after a couple of hours it´s a really good experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a compliance a security tool in one setup.

It is good for tracking resource compliance and anomalies on cloud resources.

Support is not that good, and I feel like I am still not using the tool to its full potential.

Great for Cloud Posture
What do you like best about the product?
Lacework has been great at analyzing our cloud environments and making us aware of potential compliance issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI has been a bit rough, in my experience. We have experienced slow responses that seemed to be related to the GUI as well as a few other issues that may have been GUI related.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework provides in-depth reviews of our cloud posture, and does a great job displaying these items in a friendly, organized manner.
Great forward-thinking software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how lacework is focused on being secure while not impeding productivity of our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some issues with the image scanning components. Lacework team has resolved them though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework gives the security team visibility into the workings of the software/DevOps team.
Lacework has given us insight to things we didn't even know where going on
What do you like best about the product?
The polygraph approach that Lacework takes is fantastic. We where able to identify some trial installs that we didn't even know where out there and lock them down. I did an exhaustive look at splunk, and datadog's SIEM offerings. Lacework is cheaper, better and getting up and running was a breeze.
Also the UI/UX experience is very good once you get used to it it's easy to find out details on incidents that get reported and you are able to correlate the incident to all effected resources in a snap.
Lastly the support team for Lacework is far and away the best/most responsive team I've worked with for a product like this.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that there is a little bit of a learning curve to learn how to navigate their system. It's really not bad you just need to adjust your thinking some. Once you do it's pretty intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we had nothing really in place that allowed us to easily tell that someone has penetrated our defenses and what they are up to.
Fact of the matter is not many products out there have that capability. Most will just tell you that you have a vulnerbility that needs addressed, your infra monitoring may alert you that a box's cpu is being hit hard or something like that.
Lacework's approach allows you find that needle in the haystack.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and provides lots of insights about your security posture as well as alerts out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
IAC scanner reports lots of false positives
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security monitoring and alerting. This gives valuable insight into vulnerabilities and even gives suggestions on how to resolve in som instances.

Polygraph for traffic flow, that helps to analyse traffic in easier way.

They have not updated AMI scanning for AWS cloud domain.

Lacework is solving all security level issues and made it easy for analysis with the help of graphical formats.
Easy to setup, good insights and low friction day-to-day
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively straightforward setup using the provided Helm chart. Low friction to reconfigure and the dashboard is quite friendly to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the insights aren't as in-depth as we would like, but since we are primarily interested in a wider range of coverage this is less of a concern.

We needed a single pane of glass to get a good understanding of our overall security posture.
Wonderful toolset to increase security and compliance confidence
What do you like best about the product?
Lacework provides easy-to-digest security alerts and frequent compliance report updates to ensure that we can keep track of any unusual or unexpected activity in our Cloud Accounts. Adding Lacework has been key to achieving and maintaining our compliance goals with a lean DevOps team.

What do you dislike about the product?
When digging into a specific compliance report, the UI can be cumbersome, especially if your environment spans multiple cloud accounts. This issue can be mitigated by setting your desired reports to be delivered periodically by email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying any Resources in our Cloud environments that are not compliant with best practices and/or industry standards. Ranking these by severity and highlighting the exact resources that are out of compliance makes resolutions much more efficient.
Being an extra pair of eyes' that is always watching our CloudTrail logs for abnormalities. Gives tremendous peace of mind to see alerts such as 'User "John" logged in from a different location than usual and did "Action" on the staging environment'.
