The Ultimate Time Saving Search Tool for Company Documents
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to search through transcripts/presentations. Sometimes it finds presentations that are not readily available from company IR pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - solid product. Maybe wish the notes/folder tool was more practical/functional/smart (AI driven).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly accessing information from companies under coverage and their peers.

What do you like best about the product?
The depth and variety of information - makes searching simple, great AI summarization tool to distill the insights. The customer support teams are highly responsive and skilled at what they do. Easy to set up and create reports
What do you dislike about the product?
Easy to get lost in so much data! Other than that - nothing to dislike

Building an empire, but product isn't better
What do you like best about the product?
The core platform function is still useful. I like that you can feed a high volume of data sources into Alphasense and search across it, allowing you to go deep in a company or topic. The library of expert call transcripts is valuable, and it's nice to be able to search through those results as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alphasense keeps acquiring their biggest competitors (Sentio, Tegus) and then gutting the product. Tegus was a fantastic standalone platform - BamSEC was an incredible product because it was simple and it just worked - but when AS acquired it, they didn't port over all the same useful features. Feels like they're trying to build an empire that can be broadly applicable to anyone in finance, and broadening the focus so significantly has diluted the core strength of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Expert Interview library is wide and vast, and the search interface allows me to look across companies and industries to see different views on a research topic.
Saves me countless hours of manual research. Fast, effective and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Programmed automatic alerts, the depth of research and expert interviews available, the ability to navigate through useful hyperlinks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I do not like about the AlphaSense platform.

Solving problem of providing organized research and insights into companies and industries covered by my team. Provides me with real-time updates on key sector developments.

What do you like best about the product?
Great support from AlphaSense experts, and user-friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really comes to mind, but could be good to have more data exporting features direcly to excel

Saving me time to read through all reports, and being able have high level sythesized information.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to scan lots of equity research reports and internal/company docs are super helpful

I still feel like the search is clunky. Unless I know what I want to search for, its very keyword specific.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
alphasense allows me to aggregate and search documents that I would otherwise have to spend at least 5 min getting access to. It is very nice to pivot between documents
An ocean of insights
What do you like best about the product?
From financial projections, to m&a tracking, clinical trial data to key insights from c-suite members and KOLs, AlphaSense provides a wealth of resources for me to stay informed and make strategic decisions in our own product development.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am very pleased with the product and have nothing negative to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense allows us to efficiently identify targets/opportunities, leverage key insights from kols, and stay on top of dynamic markets with the latest information.

Extracting company information from sources such as transcripts, broker reports, etc. in an efficient and much faster way
Alpha sense is a very powerful tool for research, designed for a dedicated user.
What do you like best about the product?
Its is beneficial for our investor relations group and our SEC reporting team - they use it frequently, the information returned is on point and fast. Excellent tool for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an infrequent user, I'm often stifled by the complexity. Its not Google, Chrome or Edge. One must be familiar with how to ask/prompt for searches. It does get easier the more you use it, but for me, its difficult and I dont have the time to waste when I need an answer - therfore, I delegate to my SEC reporting team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software is fantastic for returning massive amounts of data. Frequent users love it. Infrequent users, like myself struggle - but its still effective (its a me "prompting" problem, not the software)
