What do you like best about the product?
The implementation process was smooth. Our success manager was there to help us with every step of the way. Thoropass makes it very easy to implement a compliant environment. The software is easy to use too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales process was VERY painful. We almost walked away because it felt like there was no explanation or transparency with how the implementation process worked. Our biggest concern surround just one topic that we couldn't get an answer on: budget. We figured out at some point that there are potential other costs that may be required to become compliant. I think the reps should disclose this during the sales process to be fully transparent. We had to figure this out ourselves. When we did discover this, it was nearly impossible to be given an answer or estimate of what other costs might occur. We had to eventually jump on a meeting with the technical team to get answers (we demanded this). Finally, it was a simple answer that the potential other costs were items like Pen testing, Antivirus software, etc to make sure we are secure and compliant.
It just seemed like such a simple answer that could have been given. Instead it was made out to be this mystery that the rep was unwilling to share and so we assumed the worst and thought it might be a massive expense. Once we got the answers, it was obvious and we new the cost range on our own.
Perhaps this was just a matter of the rep not having experience of post sales implementations. It just came off as VERY shady and sneaky when straight answers couldn't be given and all we were informed of was there are potential costs that might come up during install and they could be five figures.

We used Thoropass for HIPPA compliance so that we can provide a compliant Saas environment to our customers.
