Great option for a semantic layer
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Kyvos for us is its semantic layer. It’s taken a huge load off our development team and made it so much easier to manage the platform, even for people without technical backgrounds. Plus, both implementation and maintenance were surprisingly simple, and their support team has been fantastic every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t come across anything I’d call a downside so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve been using Kyvos to bring all our BI tools together and scale up as our analytics needs grow. It has made data access secure and manageable at every level, which has been a huge win for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to deal with our complex data quickly and turning it into useful information is really great. We can now explore our data from many different angles, which we couldn't do earlier. It can process large data without exceeding the budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires time to learn and master the IT tools provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It simplifies the process of obtaining information, as previously it took a lot of time to provide analytics and the data was updated over time. However, now it is always available.

The speed is remarkable. With Kyvos, we are able to handle complex analysis much faster. It’s easy to drill down from broad summaries to tiny details.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Kyvos offers powerful reporting capabilities, customizing certain dashboards can sometimes take training and time. Better resources to help with this will be a good addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of going through the headache of replacing our existing systems as most vendors suggest, it fits right into our current setup and works effectively with our BI platform and data warehouse. With Kyvos, we get quick responses to our queries, our processes have become a lot smoother and we have saved so much time and money after deploying it.
Goof for real-time decision and granular insights
What do you like best about the product?
Kyvos’ ability to handle any size data without any slowdowns is impressive. It allows us to create data models directly on the cloud which makes it so much easier for us to analyze our data without compromising speed or increasing costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a bit of time to get familiar with all the features, especially the advanced OLAP ones. But once I did, it was easy to make the most of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kyvos has helped us take our decision-making to the next level as it can connect with multiple BI tools like Tableau and Power BI—the ones our teams are already comfortable with. This has made analysis of any amount of data not only easier but also affordable for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Kyvos impresses the most with it’s abilities of effective analytics and powerful features to analyse data with ample amount of data sources which are supported and it's really simple and effective UI which makes it easy to use even for beginners.

Initially some time needs to be given for understanding and installation process but once done it turns out to be very beneficial

It makes analysing of historical and present data very easy with granular level detailing due to it's drill down functionalities without much requirements of user effort
User-friendly interface and support for a wide range of visualization tools
What do you like best about the product?
In our company, we deal with massive transactional data stored in multiple departments and analyzing it to get consistent insights was a big challenge for us. Kyvos allows us to perform in-depth analysis directly on our data lake without needing to move or transform data. Another thing that impressed me was its user-friendly interface and the support for a wide range of BI tools which makes analysis easy even for users without technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, we were not sure if our infrastructure could fully support Kyvos capabilities because we hadn’t completely modernized our on-premises data infrastructure. However, as we transitioned to a hybrid cloud model, these issues started to diminish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to run analytics on all our data. Slow performance was also an issue. Kyvos fixed this problem and now we can create reports and dashboards quickly, even for complex data. It enabled us to create multidimensional cubes directly on our cloud platforms, so that we can run interactive queries on billions of rows and get responses in seconds. Our sales and finance teams now analyze customer purchase trends and forecast revenue in real-time, something that previously took hours or even days.

What do you like best about the product?
Before Kyvos, we often struggled with disconnected data from different departments which made cross-functional analysis a challenge for us. Now we can dive into any amount of data in seconds rather than hours or days. We’re able to add more dimensions and measures to our reports without performance issues. Another great advantage of Kyvos was the capability to migrate our workloads to GCP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving Kyvos from our on-premises setup to GCP was challenging because we had a lot of large data cubes to manage. However, their support and professional services team ensured we didn’t miss any key steps. Once everything was up and running, it has been a seamless experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kyvos has helped us speed up our data reports. Our teams focus on creating dashboards and reports instead of waiting for data to load. It’s been a huge time-saver and made it easier to meet our business goals.
Excellent financial reporting and flexible analytical framework
What do you like best about the product?
With Kyvos, we can handle and analyze all our data without waiting. We have a complete view of all our financial data spread across business units and teams in one place. The Excel plug-in is also a big plus—it made things much simpler for us since everyone’s already familiar with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup took some work and we sometimes encountered issues with Kyvos running on Databricks. However, with Kyvos’ new architecture we’re optimistic these problems will be addressed. But the Kyvos support team is always ready to help us troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kyvos has made our financial reporting possible on all our data. Our global team of several hundred analysts can now run analysis without any performance lags. We now handle cross-LOB reporting, MD&A and ad hoc analysis with immediate response times

What really stands out about Kyvos for us is its innovative, future-ready capabilities. It’s not just addressing today’s analytics needs but also prepares businesses to handle tomorrow’s data demands just as effectively.

What do you dislike about the product?
Kyvos meets most of our needs, but it does miss a few legacy features like workflow management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The performance we’re getting on large amounts of data is incredible, no matter which BI tool we use. What’s even better is that Kyvos offers in-depth support to fine-tune the system, so we can meet all kinds of specific requirements. With Kyvos, data management and governance has also become much simpler due to automated workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Kyvos is its ability to quickly analyze not just weeks or months but years of data. Its easy-to-use UI has allowed our users to handle their analytics independently. Plus, the onboarding was also seamless, thanks to a very helpful support team, guiding us on every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Kyvos works extremely well, but writing MDX queries requires some expertise. This means we need someone with that skill set and this slows us down a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, our data was stored in multiple locations which slowed down analysis and resulted in inconsistent insights. Kyvos consolidated all our data onto one platform and connected well with our existing data lake too. Now, we can analyze data faster and track important KPIs on a daily basis.
