Incredibly Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
This software is incredibly easy to use, and would not need to provide instructions to almost anyone to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Given im using the web based application, it may be slow to upload larger files - but this is probably more of a web speed issue than the actual software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is so much better personally than installing anti-virus that typically clogs up processes. I find that regular anti-virus scanning on my macbook really hinders performance.

easy to scan files and websites
What do you like best about the product?
I can put in a link or a file and scan it easily
What do you dislike about the product?
I need a way to know about the file before I download it. Do y'all have a wiki? Also, not a dislike, but a prominent button to scan another, or scan again would be nice, also the ability add a google or excel sheet full of links, and to scan multiple files at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I get a link and am unsure if it is safe, I can check it first.
Don't know much about malware software, seems to work
What do you like best about the product?
Appreciate that the software is available for free. I don't know much about malware software, but I haven't had any issues with my computer while using FileScan.IO.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major dislikes about FileScan.IO; it's free, seems to be working, and isn't difficult to start using at all. The website interface could be modernized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I receive tons of scam emails in work email accounts, and it sometimes is difficult to tell if these are real or scams. FileScan.IO helps me check sketchy links easily.
Detailed or Minimalistic, it has all you need!
What do you like best about the product?
FileScan.IO provides a free service for scanning files or domains for malicious activity based on user reports. Furthermore, the service cross-checks with other services to ensure the validity of the data gathered. The best part of FileScan is that it offers both a detailed and rough report of the scan, giving great insight into the threat types and an in-depth showcase of Indicators of Compromise, File details, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Given that the service is free and does its job as listed in the page description, there is nothing I dislike about it. However, one minor improvement of increasing filesize would be grand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FileScan.IO has saved me from opening untrustworthy websites and encountering phishing attacks and potential forced-download encounters. Furthermore, given the service offers to scan up to 100MB of both file and webpage content, it greatly helps when encountering suspicious files or false-flagged filed on any computer or phone.
One of the most effective analysis tool for malware
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the tool is the file scan it really does the job of doing a deep analysis scan of the file and the populating the result in a clean manner
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I feel detections related to new CVE's can be added in this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IOC detection, Hash scanning, File scanning
Great scanner but only for small files
What do you like best about the product?
The file scan is very in depth and is constantly updated to ensure they have the latest threat assessment. It is reasonably fast and secure. The interface is very easy to use and can accept just about any type of file
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst thing about this file scanning site is the 100mb limit. I have had a lot of files that are larger and needed to scan - so sometimes this scanner just does not allow for the bigger file sizes that are becoming more prevalent
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for simple single use scanning without much input. Just browse to the site and drop the file. I get pdf documents all the time and need to scan to make sure there are no embedded malware issues.
Help in scan files before using them and check for hidden malware
What do you like best about the product?
1. The website has an easy GUI that you can simply browse and select or drag and drop the file, so the normal uploading files experience, is nothing complex.
2. It's fast (Of course based on the file size).
3. Provides a report that you can download then use as a prove or share with a friend.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Maximum file limit size is only 100MB, in most cases, this will be sufficient but with large games (exe files or zip files) I think this limitation will then not work.
2. Advanced features require that you log in, however, I don't see this necessary.
3. To upload a file you have to have it local in the first place which is a risk on its own.

It helps in scanning files online by uploading the file to their site and it immediately does scan for any hidden malware or virus and generates a report. Hence you can be more confident before using these scanned files.

It supports not only a variety of files like PDF and Word but also several scripts like Java, VBS, etc. It also scans executable formats like APK and PE. Even it scans the Zip and Rar files thoroughly.

FileScan.IO | File Thread and URL Thread Analisys
What do you like best about the product?
FileScan.IO was very competent when try to scan File Thread and URL Thread Analisys, he find very well suspicious url and other problems on files and detect very well phshing vectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
FileScan.IO was very competent for is functions so the only thing that a thing that is missing was a possibility to integrate with other softwares. Like someone can "report" a website in our internal app e receive a response if is ok or not to access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this function, i can analyze faster the URL reported by our employees and use my extra time to implement other things. Sometimes i share the platform to our employes and they can check by themselves the thrustability of the files and urls.
