My experience with Wix
What do you like best about the product?
What I find with Wix is the speed at which you can create a site or shop for your business to resell or to book appointments for our clients. The system to create a site is really easy to use, Wix provides themes for your site or you can make it yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is the feature for adding photos or another button to create a payment. The problem is it takes time to export the photos or other items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solves the problem of creating a website because creating a website is very time-consuming, and with Wix, it gives you everything ready-made, but it's you who will choose what you want on your site. I find that great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Wix for anyone who wants to have a well-secured and high-quality website. The ease of use is really there; anyone who is starting out will be able to use Wix, it's very easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface that is makes building a website from scratch accessible to just about anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike is the time it took to get a response from their support queue. I am good at finding solutions myself typically in extensive FAQs like they have, but had to input a ticket eventually since there was no solution I could find. It was not a quick turn around response unfortunately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a web presence and online store to grow my business. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the website, and it's only $15/mo!

Wix essentially prevents us from having to get someone to code things for us. It has made it easy to create a custom website that represents us.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can build your own landing page with virtually no skills or knowledge, from scratch, and still make it look sleek and very aesthetically pleasing by only combining elements and features readily available with own content.
What do you dislike about the product?
By only using the basic features as well as the free version, a wix landing page can easily be identified by a potential customer or a simple viewer of the page as a website created with wix and thus that can damage the credibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used wix for short-term campaigns that need to be launched separately from the main business website quickly; creating landing pages is easy and they are versatile to the needs of the campaign.
Another use is for presenting artwork in a professional way in an online portfolio made with wix.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using the free version at first, to get accustomed to and see how can you best utilize the platform to meet your needs. Nevertheless, if you wish to use a landing page/ website created with Wix for a longer time, I recommend getting the paid version and make your page more professional and trustworthy by not sticking to the implicit formatting and themes but using new ones together with your original content and artworks. Make it personal!
Wix is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using wix for years now. First, for myself and currently for my various clients. Wix is amazing because it has so many apps and features and it very inexpensive and user friendly. The apps that wix has allows me to be able to create beautiful and functional sites no matter what field they are in. I have created stores, blogs, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that wix should get a better contact system for site subscribers. Their shout outs are not as creative and efficient as they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix allows me to create amazing sites for my customers, no matter what field that are in, at a reasonable price. The benefit of this is that the customer is able to make more money using their site and wix gets another "life" customer. None of my clients have switched to another platform from wix. They are the one to beat.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it ! Wix is great for all users no matter your skill level in design or coding. Anyone can use this platform because of its ease of use. It is also very cost effective and will allow you to easily create the site of your dreams.
Easy for Simple Sites
What do you like best about the product?
I like the modern designs and templates that are offered by Wix and how easy it is to utilize them. There are a lot of color choices, design choices and font choices, and you can bring in any imagery needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to upgrade in order to cream a long form when in Wordpress I could just add HTML or a plugin to assist for free. The form only had a set amount of questions that I could create. There are paid options that are only available to premium users and that doesn't seem very fair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting an updated website up and running easily and using a pre-purchased domain. There are so many options of what to add to a website that the possibilities are endless, unless you need to really go in depth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have idea of what you want and don't mind using a pre-formatted template, Wix is for you, but if you have HTML knowledge and want more customization, this may not be your best option.
Can make good simple websites, but not very complex ones
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is relatively easy to use and has the capability to make pretty impressive and professional websites. The website templates and creation tools are very intuitive. It doesn't require much technical expertise to create or edit a website. The Wix support team gets back to use very quickly whenever we have questions, which is very helpful since we don't want to spend a ton of time figuring things out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limit to how much functionality and styling you can have with Wix. Though there are good capabilities to make a solid informational website, adding complex scripts and altering the code can cause your Wix website to malfunction. Wix is mainly good for simple informational websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to get a quality informational website up and running quickly. We can also make changes very quickly. The changes are pretty much updated instantly. We were able to establish our brand online and now have a reliable location for people to retrieve information about our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend Google Forms as a great way to quickly get survey and polling information from your clients, customers and other contacts. I think most products in the Google platform generally have a good reputation, so your contacts should mostly respond well to it.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface was really modern and easy to use and consist if mainly drag and drop which allows people who do not code to create web content. There are many templates you can choose that are somewhat already built and you just need to add text and images for the webpage
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates are limited and because it focues on usability for people who do not code, there is a limit on how customized you want the webpage to be. However i believe you can pay to get more out of it

I was able to create a webpage for a blog to promote restaurants. I used it for free and did not need to learn how to code
Make your website quickly and easily
What do you like best about the product?
I just love the way Wix can be used to develop websites by even those who don't know anything about web development. All kinds of Themes available to choose.

Great for non technical but might not be that useful for professionals.
