Wix is simple and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that this is something easy to use. The drag and drop and WYSIWIG abilities are fantastic for marketers and entrepreneurs on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost involved. Sometimes, I feel that each little thing costs more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many! It is a quick and easy way to get up and running for the exposure needed.
Wix is okay, but overly complicated
What do you like best about the product?
I like wix because it makes it easy for users to create their own websites. I like how they look whenever someone has a really good grasp on design and has the patience to make the site look good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike wix because I found it pretty difficult to create my site in just the way that I wanted it to look and function. I didn't love how hard it was to customize and make to one's liking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped my business attempt to make a site. It benefitted me when I found a better site to use in order to make our sites. Essentially, it was a learning experience.

Be patient with the site; it's not always the most intuitive.
Great for Freelancer Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I loved how simple it was to create beautiful, functional websites from templates with the flexibility of complete customization. The platform is super flexible and easy to use. It literally had every feature I needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the non-Wix built app/widgets were a little unreliable, but there were so many good options, I was always able to find something that worked well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Wix as a freelancer to create a website for a small nonprofit client. It was incredibly easy to set up, maintain and add all the features my client needed.

easy support , and almost everything they handle . you have to sit and just do according to them. it has made making a site easy and simple

you dont get enough space to fit in all the contents other thing that i dont like , is the various themes that are too simple

The best part of WIX is easy to use, changes are effective immediately after publish,it has lot of templates to choose from so as to give feel of enterprise level website at zero cost . This has the power of customization the look and feel of the display UI.

it slows down a little bit while loading the complex content added to the website but as i mentioned it comes with zero cost which make it most effective to use

prototype website development to make and mock the websites are developed using the utlities we have today . This was utilised as it can be customized almost instantly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like to recommend to all the organisation to go ahead with wix so that they can benefited out of it and can reduce the development cycle of the website . as all the changes made to the website are deployed and published immediately as compared to whole cycle of development, design and deployment which make this tool super easy and handy to be used at any given point of time. This amazing website builder come with no of GUI based templated which can easliy plugged in to support the functionality you want to deliver to the customer in easy and quick turn around timelines.
Easy to use and easy to edit
What do you like best about the product?
WIx is an intuitive, straightforward, and imaginative web platform. It cuts the code entirely and completely cuts out the greatest barrier to entry to web dev and design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix can be hard to make do what you image. You do end up morphing your ideas and wishes to what is possible on the Wix platform but that's to be expected. It would be the same thing using code or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is where I keep my portfolio and hosted my thesis website. It was a godsend and made the web aspects of such big projects a breeze that i'm thankful for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix needs to be much much user friendly when it comes to grid systems in the layout. Setting up grid systems feels like it would add a lot of design flair to most sites, this might be a good thing to discuss and introduce to those non-designers using Wix.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. For the uninitiated, seniors with less experience, young people and anyone with less than necessary experience in setting up a personal, professional looking web site, will be thoroughly comfortable in the Wix environment. Having experimented with Wix in a variety of browsers, while they all work, Firefox seems provide the most functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to find things to dislike but I suppose, like Shopify, Wix could allow connection to a larger collection of secondary service providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've solved business problems for others in that Wix, especially for those that are just starting out with an idea or a very small business, is free to maintain. That a Wix site can be maintained for free, even in light of the inexpensive alternatives of Shopify and GoDaddy, can often mean the difference between success and failure. Wix also provides the added benefit of "Ease of Use" because Wix could be used to set up a rather professional web site even by elementary school children, and with ease.

Some of the ecommerce functionality could use some upgrading.

I've utilized Wix to create several websites for small businesses that need a professional looking website, but don't have a large budget. The templates are great and easy to modify.

Take some time to inventory your needs and then do some digging and some experimentation with Wix to ensure that the tools they have are what you need.

I like that you don't really need knowledge of HTML or CSS for to use Wix and also the fact that it allows for having so many templates to choose from for your website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you have to pay to remove the big banner at the bottom of the page which says made with Wix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for creating websites without much effort and you can also choose from templates which makes it easier as the pages are setup for you.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely would recommend Wix to others as it is very easy and simple to use for users who do not have much knowledge in html or CSS.

This site builder is so easy to use and has hundreds of options and offers the ability to really make your website unique and personalized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to make my recording section of my site more personalized. Right now I’m just using SoundCloud.

Profit no longer embarrassed by the tackiness that my website used to be. My site is awesome!
