Easily create website that are appealing
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the best is that I don;'t need to know how to program. The templates make it easy to navigate and create the websites
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike. They have made it easy for everyone!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a different website for my new development (away from my regular website) and this gave me a new website specific to my project. The website looks great and is very functional.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you know what you want as a website, it will make the design easier for YOU

What do you like best about the product?
I built a sucessful web hosting business, started in 1997, in 2008 I left the industry, forgot all my skills learned back then, when it came to building a quick professional website, i turned to WiX. I was able to create a site with my smartphone in less then an hour!
What do you dislike about the product?
No free plans available, I am just starting my new business, so i have no funds for website hosting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making easy changes to my website and updating it without having to remember difficalt code you need to know for some complex web programs sites run today.

Wix is a great site to build your website on the fly. It will make your company look professional, and you can update it daily without knowing complex coding.
Good website for creating something simple
What do you like best about the product?
It is a good website for creating a simple design with drag and drop. Suited for beginners or for just a simple website which does not require dinamic content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a code editor or some other basicfunctions, to be attractive for medium or experienced developers

Building a static website by anyone.
Wix easy and simple
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is a great option for people looking for an easy way to design and launch a website! From login to launch, it's a great step-by-step process and very easy to manage. I am able to create and maintain content easily on my own, and I am confident in sharing access with other members of my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all free products, you have to pay for your own domain, otherwise it includes the Wix name. While this is not a major deal-breaker, it is good to keep in mind when choosing Wix over other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WIX is compatible with mobile devices and desktop computers. As a result, its design looks great on all media, and I don't have to worry about losing potential customers because my site doesn't look polished on one platform or another.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I totally recommend Wix for anyone in charge of managing a website who doesn't have specific training in web development. I can translate my knowledge of Adobe to functional use with Wix quite quickly.
Easy - even for those not familiar with HTML
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that everything is easy to navigate and there are so many pre loaded templates you can fix to be your own unique style without having to know much about HTML coding. Literally everything is at your fingertips to make a website easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve had both the free version and paid version, and I understand with the free version you need ads, I just wish that you could have a shorter URL it just doesn’t look very professional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve been able to put my inventory status right into the website so that when someone orders something it will show out of stock once it’s been bought. No more apology emails to customers who bought the same things.
Great online interface to design for clients
What do you like best about the product?
Easy drag and drop interface and user-friendly for my clients to maintain after my design work is done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot back up site contents and data to a hard drive.

Retail storefront options are limited.
Wix, the only limitation is your imagination!
What do you like best about the product?
I have utilized Wix for several projects, from a training portal to a Standards repository for doing construction reviews. In each case, there was a template that allowed ides to gel, creating innovation and ideas to form that might otherwise have dissipated into the ethos. The fact that all you have to do is have an idea and Wix holds the keys to making them a reality is simply amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were methodologies by which you could purchase and create domains through Wix w/o the Wix extension so that a more professional url could be created, but at least the sight creation is inexpensive and very simple to maneuver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I stated early on, I have utilized Wix in many capacities but one that was simply amazing was the creation of a repository for construction standards that were ordered in a manner that allows for the same workflow in doing inspections that the processes we utilize flow.
We have also created a training website for both our Orange QC Inspection Application and our departmental training's. Its ease of use and drop and drag functionality make it second to none for building whatever you might need to provide a great user experience!

Come to Wix with an open mind and the sky will be the limit. There are a million & one uses for web tools
and Wix is the creme de la creme in user satisfaction in my opinion.

Majourity of host account don't allow Wix site building.

It allowed to build a website in really short period of time without any load or mushc experience.

Very user friendly. Anyone could jump in and create a site.

Sometimes the site builder would not load or take forever to change font/color.

I used this for RSVPing to an event. This helped answer questions as well as get a head count.
