Wix Wins
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization options that are available. Wix makes it seem like it is your website, it doesnt make it seem like you are using a template website. It makes it easy for me to customize a website and make it 110% unique and my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some restrictions when customizing and trying to find a way around the limitations can get frustrating. I wish there were more font options and some better how to guides for doing out of the box features when creating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like the platform, it is easy to navigate and it is visually appealing.

Play around with the site and see what level of customization you will need. Don't be afraid to make changes and take chances.
Great and easy to use, but free version is disappointing
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to use and easy to design. Huge benefit (and the reason we switched) is that it makes it super easy to make a high quality mobile version, which is essentially but difficult to do on other services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic features are lacking but apparently in the works. Like you can have lower and upper menus with different items on them easily, and I've heard eCommerce is very difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped us create a quality mobile version easily and better version of the normal desktop one.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't use it if you are looking for a free version or eCommerce, but definitely do for anything else!

Wix is extremely user friendly. Pretty much anyone can use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can limit you as far as what you can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a simple and fast way to create a basic site.

The customization is easy to match branding efforts. The templates are modern and offer a great starting point. You do not need any coding background in order to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The areas to click and scroll in order to edit are very touchy. It can be tricky to select the area that you'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to host event websites that take on a brand of their own.

Load times may be slow.

What do you like best about the product?
My business is growing, and looking forward I know that the tools offered by Wix are going to come in handy. Plus, the customer service has been great as I troubleshot my site while I, a totally inexperienced builder, worked through it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could change my template now - they offer many more, and I would love to switch it up without a rebuild.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility was a primary concern, and they helped me set up google analytics, which I had never heard of.

I am a major fan of the Wix Editor. Mainly because of its limitless opportunities and creative aspects you can do with pictures, video, text, documents, and other functions on the editor!
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, it seems that alot of stuff comes in a template or that there are no ways to code around certain things. I know they are working on that currently now which is great, but it does limit the user to some building options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As users of Wix, we are helping people create stunning, mobile friendly websites that are easy to use and function properly!

It is the best platform that you can use when you are beginning to work with websites! I started on this platform myself to learn and it is free to start.

no coding needed, glitchy but easy to solve for the non-developer

glitchy. move one thing and everything becomes a mess. annoying to modify for mobile.

Wix is very easy to use. It's as simple as drag and drop! No coding required.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates are cheesy. I'd rather use the blank option to create something unique.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time by allowing me to build a site without writing code.
Easy set-up, but difficult management
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to set up a basic site in just a few minutes. It wasn't a great site, but there was no coding involved and I at least had something ready to show customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a pain to connect the domain and there are hidden expenses. Rearranging your site is also difficult if you don't know what you're doing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I set up a website that does bring in traffic. I am able to secure multiple website names in the off chance I'll need to change the website title one day.
