Build a Website with Ease!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that wix is pretty much a drag and drop platform and coding is not required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the ads that they place on the free websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has allowed me to profit from website design without spending hours on writing code.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Wix to make three websites, one a travel blog, and two for photography businesses (my own). It is great having templates for free to choose from. You can build a site in a day!
What do you dislike about the product?
The customization can be limited when using a template, it is easy to mess up the whole ascetic when trying to change one simple photo or it ends up being too complicated to change a page within your site as well. I do not pay for my URL so I hate seeing Wix before my page name. I also wish that Wix would keep your page looking the same no matter how large your screen is, sometime when you pull the tab larger or smaller it skews how your page is set up. This makes it hard to keep your site looking professional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is helping me reach a larger audience by presenting my work online in a clean simple format. I normally post on Wix then share the link out on facebook and twitter. This can help me drive business

Have the images that you want to use on your site ready and copied into a folder. Have a clear idea of the site you want to build before jumping in. Remember what your target is when building your site, is it to drive business or just to present your work on a site?
Wix - User Friendly and Accessible
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Wix has an intuitive user interface. With no web design experience, it was easy to log on to Wix and begin working immediately. There are helpful drag-and-drop features, as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the page seems stagnant after creation. I know much of this rests on the popularity of the page, but some clear promotional options may be helpful in promoting the longevity of a created website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Wix, the management of my page is in my own hands. I have ownership and investment in the page I have created.

Wix is the first website-building tool that I recommend to others who are looking for this type of tool. The user interface is at a basic level, and more experienced users can easily tap into the diversified and more complicated resources.
Learning curve a little difficult but aweome customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service via chat got back to me with a customized solution within 2 days. Very nice and did not take any effort at all in explaining what I was having problems with. Very professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to learn if you have never set up a web site before. Help portal leaves a LOT to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A website that we can control and update internally

Have a good planned out vision for your website. Know all of the ways you want the website to serve you in order not to do a lot of double or rework. Look at all options for e-commerce if needed and if the app works with your existing way you process payments.

Every added feature incurs an additional cost. My monthly subscription keeps going up.

Just be mindful of the added costs that you will incur with every feature you want to add. It piles up.

Easy to manipulate and change and design without coding and easy apps and pretty design options

Truly like it all, but my only complaint is that I wish there were more global settings for the whole site that were pre done, for SEO for example

Because so many people use Wix, it is sometimes easy for websites to look very similar.

A strong website is a necessity in today's online-driven business culture. Wix allowed me to create an eye-catching webpage that provided necessary space for important information

Wix is a great platform for starting a website if you're not entirely familiar with code and things of that nature. If you are running a more complex system such as e-commerce, however, it might be difficult to get the details of your website exactly how you want them.
Very easy to use and advertise
What do you like best about the product?
I run an online and in person personal/fitness training business and a website is a MUST! It was so easy to design with videos, photos, captions, pricing, etc. I loved the ease and the layout so it made designing a website for my business so nice!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the ads that are added to my website. You have to pay a bit extra to get those removed but that is my only complaint!

Conflict with redirecting to PayPal! Benefits is the quick pace or redirection and easy to access different workout plans and meal plans

Make sure to have a general idea/outline of what you want because there are sooo many options on how to decorate and organize your site. Wix has a wide variety of options so an outline would help you in the long run to know what you want and how to do it with the site!
Beautiful but sometimes glitchy
What do you like best about the product?
The default layouts and patterns are simple to use. There are options for customization in every area. The free tools like Subscribe and website insights are nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to purchase the premium version to connect a domain (even if you already own one). Sometimes layouts glitch and the support team isn't always helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix blog platform is good for reaching new audiences and encouraging them to take action (subscribe). It's allowing to find customers who may have not been reached otherwise.
Great for beginner website builders
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can put a website together in just a couple of hours with ready to go templates
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service can be slow to respond. It takes forever to track down a way to contact them - every menu first directs you to self help Q&A.

A need to communicate and reach customers. We have acquired new contacts by having a website.
