Useful for mini project sites
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the total freedom that Wix gives you for editing websites. There are templates but they are one hundred percent customizable unlike other sites which lock you into a prescribed interface. This is super easy to use and move parts around
What do you dislike about the product?
With so much customization available, it's hard to know what the best decision for web design is, so for users new to web design they might want a more guided approach
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it really quick to get a website up so we can create sites for small projects quickly.

Wix The Best Option For Quick and Easy Website Creation
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is an extremely useful platform for creating aesthetically high-quality, dynamic, and functional websites. It also provides us with tools that can be used almost intuitively, allowing people without experience in web page design and configuration to achieve professional results at a very affordable cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix is a platform with a number of quite useful preset options, but at times the page interface is quite heavy, slowing down the work, and often total control over the changes being made is lost, especially if the internet connection is intermittent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is a great support for my daily creative process, providing me with a palette of colors, images, and very varied and fun ClipArt, ensuring the beauty and functionality of what is created.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Wix to novice designers who wish to explore their creativity with the variety of elements the platform offers and obtain a useful and aesthetically viable web product.
Excellent Tool for the Novice Website Designer
What do you like best about the product?
I myself am in the process of learning code, but it honestly bores me. The beauty of website design for me is the actual visual design. I utilize Wix on a regular basis to make fast, yet beautiful websites that are easily updated and manipulated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more add-ons/ apps. I have run into situations where I want to add a functionality to the site and are restricted by what they have to offer. If they expanded their app library, this service would be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Wix to created websites for my freelance clients. To date, I have created and maintained 6 websites. The ease of use allows me to turn over the websites to my clients so that I am not always called upon to update. Across the board, all of my clients have been pleased.

If you are looking to create a beautiful website, quickly and would rather focus on design rather than programming, this is for you!
Easiest and Best Website Creator EVER!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create a website on this software. Starting your own business has never been easier! The ease of choosing a theme and choosing which add ons you want on your site is so simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything to dislike about this software?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My families can book a tour of my facility, they can review our forms, they can send us electronic wait list registration forms, and they can review our policies via Google Docs.

Wix is always adding more add ons and free Wix brand add ons that you can embed into your site to make your site look professional to any clientele.
Amazingmy simple and customizable
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using wix for several years now. I have been able to take the design and creation of several sites for several companies out of the hands of expensive hard to reach developers and do it myself, saving money and having fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not able to build a quality well rounded ecommerce site (at least not as great as platforms like shopify)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to disseminate up-to-date information quickly and beautifully. A quick change to the business available for this day or an update that needs to be shared to our online visitors, changed within minutes, sometimes seconds.

Not the best for large inventory ecommerce, amazing for everything else.
Awesome tool for drag and drop website design
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is the best tool available for drag and drop website design. It is very easy to learn the software as they have user friendly UI and interface. It provides a lot a features to customize your site example: Slider, Lightbox, Grid, Strip etc. It also provides a seo tool which is also pretty awesome and works perfectly to rank you on top of google search results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile site is not automatically edited I have to edit it in mobile view so It's time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designed two website on wix which works perfectly and honestly I never face any issue with the hosting and slow website loading which I faces in wordpress.
Great for modern websites to hand off to business owners
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use web builder with modern design templates. Customization has improved over the years and the support gets back to you until your problem is solved or is found to be a function that is unavailable. It's a step up from alternative website builders. The request feature option is great for voting on things you want to have added in the future to use on wix sites. Having a separate mobile editor is great with most of the world using mobile devices these days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Back end load times and limited functionality compared to coding. The more complex your website gets, the slower the builder gets and becomes annoying at times. Support can send the wrong solutions sometimes or doesn't understand your problems so it can take them a bit to understand what you're facing. Mobile could have more functions overall, but it still looks clean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web development/design, providing churches with a cheap option compared to custom coding or finding out how to make a website on their own.

This is the easiest free website you make on your own without a degree in computer languages!

Some limitations as with any free account - but overall, good stuff!

It is a great way to have a presence online when you don't have a lot of money.

Really the easiest website/blog site that I have tried. We didn't go with it, but it wasn't any fault of WIX. Decided not to make a blog for now. If you don't have a lot of computer expertise, this is a great resource.
Review of Wix Site Builder
What do you like best about the product?
I build quick "no hassle" websites for a variety of clients, most of whom have limited, or no, experience with marketing and advertising - never mind a site build or working with html. Wix's WYSIWYG approach, and intuitive platform, allows my clients to be part of the build process, in a way that is not overwhelming, and also allows them to take control of the site, and go on to continue managing, once the site is finished.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run into bugs more often than I would like, especially when working in the mobile editor. The most annoying of these, is when an update or edit doesn't "stick." I think the overall platform could be a bit faster, as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned above, my business need is a platform that allows me to build "no hassle" websites for clients with limited, or no, experience with marketing and advertising. Wix provides a way for me to solve that need. Wix is also affordable, and easy to access, which helps from a cost and time efficiency standpoint.
The Best (and simplest) web design software out there!
What do you like best about the product?
Good bye to the old days of HTML coding, dreamweaver, and even old school and expensive services like Wordpress! Welcome Wix! I have been with Wix since they were flash based and now gratefully HTML 5! Super smooth and clean working design process. Professional and mobile optimized end product with the ease and feel of a drag and drop design!
What do you dislike about the product?
I love wix so I don't mind paying for it, but I do feel they should lower the price of the basic plan that allows you to get rid of wix ADs. I feel like maybe I am paying $10-$25 more a year than I should be to really just get rid of the ADs and link to my web domain. ALSO wix shoutouts, if it was free included with my plan at no additional cost I would use it other than an outside service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a solid and professional design website (and receiving great feedback on it). Six is fast and easy to edit on the spot during my live events, also great to have the ability for many users to have access. Only thing they should add is collaborative editing so multiple users can work together and edit at the same time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please as I said in my earlier review, add a collaborative working option like Canva and google docs. This would make it easier when a team of designers are working on and overhauling the site, especially at a live event when things move fast.
