Great for personal sites
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is excellent for building free websites -- namely personal portfolios or small business websites. Ability to customize any template is outstanding and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run into errors sometimes with the interface -- either lagging response times or general buggy errors. Otherwise, not too many issues,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to build a free website/portfolio for myself for free which is extremely beneficial. Having a mobile-responsive site is also very important and Wix's customization is brilliant for that. The different graphic elements and photo gallery options make my site stand out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking to make a portfolio site or are in need of a free site, Wix is great for making a professional & creative site that will stand out from the rest.
Super Easy and looks professional
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to design my site. Wix has many templates for many different styles. I was able to create my professional website in an hour.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix isn’t very well known so when people search for me in the browser it isn’t one of the first sites to pull up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am realizing people are more trusting for my new business because my website makes them feel more comfortable for booking appointments.

This is great if your starting a business and wanting to get your name out there.

Stylish design and simple to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily make a wonderful site. Create without programming it is really unbelievable. Very fast to choose a template, shift any element in it, if acceptable, I can add my own texts, photos, and the site is ready to use. Also, I like the system of track orders, the better way to get payments without problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't want to say bad things about that platform. But work in the mobile app should be faster. Generally, the system works well and doesn't give any bad issue to payments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can use suitable payment methods, including PayPal, bank cards or offline, etc. Also great that we can set up delivery regulation, depending on the area. With the opportunity to study about review the pages, traffic sources and what place in the search results you are in. We are glad to work with this platform.

Great software for all of our needs. You will have the ability to control all your contacts, customers or registered users and keep them in one place which is comfortable. Also, you will have the manitor all of your bill, track payments and get paid quicker. Make your business work better.
Customize Templated Website Builder
What do you like best about the product?
Wix makes it easy to get your website up and running quickly. Start with a template and customize it your way. There are very few limitations to what you can do. Controls are very intuitive. Easy to set up and maintain. Create pro like websites quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Websites are templated, but you cannot merge various templates together which is a drawback. I have a website up and running now, but to update to a new template (without doing it fully manually, I need to start with the new template and port all my pages over to the new design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to grow our business. Give ourselves a better internet presence. Still working on driving more SEO leads, but that comes with time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It's easy to get started. You can try without exchanging any money. They offer a free website (with their domain....wix.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and if you like what you create, once it's created you can easily upgrade it to the paid version to remove the "made by wix" branding and add your own domain to it too. They make it super easy with very comparable rates to other website builders. You can create and manage your own website without paying someone else to do it - it is very attainable with Wix.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use. It offers high quality results with a variety of options to create and build a website that is comparable to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pricey. While they do offer options that are inexpensive, it is costly to utilize some of their designs. There are other less expensive ways to build a website, but the quality is not the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, I've been able to create multiple websites for myself and others. I really like that their designs are modern and don't appear outdated or generic. I always get compliments on the sites and how professional they look. It's increased my business in allowing me to help others create user friendly websites that are semi-affordable and that look great.

When looking for a website building company, Wix offers so many different themes that are easy to create and maintain a professional look that others offer but at a much higher price. I get so many compliments and people are often shocked when I tell them its a Wix site and I always recommend that they check it out for their own website. It can get costly, but it is worth it.
Great way to get a nice looking website up fast
What do you like best about the product?
It was pretty easy to use and the templates they had set up based on the type of site I wanted to create were a great way to get my site up super fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a couple of glitches to where I would create a page and the preview would look good, but then when I pulled it up in a different browser it would look different (example: The title of the page would show up on two lines instead of just one). This was relatively easy to fix though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to get a basic placeholder website up as soon as possible that conveyed the necessary information to our customers about our recent acquisition. We acquired a company that had zero marketing, and while we're working on combining the two, we were able to use Wix to create a placeholder site. We may even use wix to develop a mock website for our web developers to use to create the new website we plan on making in the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Wix if you have a small business or want to use it for just personal use (blog, resume, etc.). I set up an entire website in a day, and the company we have doing our other website took over a year. So, a much more cost efficient method, plus you can do a free version to see what the website will look like just in case you're not sure if you want to use Wix for your final website.

Great site for beginners without a lot of web design experience
What do you dislike about the product?
Love the layout templates, they are so simple and easy to just plug your information in and go. Easy to upload pictures and make the site your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making a quick website to get my small business up and running when I don't really have the experience to know how to build one on my own or the capital ot hire someone to build one for me. Huge benefit having templates to build from.
