Creating websites has never been easier
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is VERY user friendly, creating websites is simple with their website editor. They also have multiple features to create unique looking websites through their platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they do offer many features, it doesn't allow for adding custom additions with HTML coding. Due to this, I moved to a different web hosting site that offers more custom HTML options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating websites quickly and efficiently while maintaining a professional look.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to just create a simple website with ease and don't have a lot of experience with HTML coding, Wix is a great site to use!

Wix is extremely user friendly and the templates are easy to follow. Th e websites are free of charge and easy to navigate. There is also a helpful feature that allows you to customize your site for mobile viewing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the web-name extensions on the free sites, however, this can be avoided by paying for the service and linking to your own domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have assisted a colleague in setting up her own personal small business website via Wix. As a small business, she was not quite ready to invest in a professional web designer. Wix allowed us to design a website she was comfortable with until she could afford professional hosting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider that your website name will be long and drawn out unless you purchase a domain. If you are a small business, purchasing a domain would be best.
Easy to Use and Beautiful Options
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use! You can be up and running in a day or two, and it's intuitive beginning to end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Opting for Wix means you're stuck in a box. Data is hard to export if you ever switch, and it gets pricey when the coupons wear off over time. Few monetizing options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to promote email list, everything is organized and easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Opt for Wix if you want something easy or shorter term. If you ever think you'll switch, start from the ground up with self-hosted.

I love everything about my Wix websites. It is simple to use. The widgets allow you to add programs and features seamlessly and it is all around an great platform to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Wix grows their platform changes regularly and can sometimes be confusing when learning how to utilize the new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have 4 different websites with Wix and they all allow me to speak directly to my audience, have a professional appearance, sell products, and showcase my work.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the level of creativity, even for a "Free" Site.

Some of the features were difficult to figure out.

I wanted to help get my sons name out there, with a clean and inexpensive website, it did that for us no problem.

It was very user friendly! Can easily teach yourself how to make a great website

There are limitations to what you can do, but that is to expected.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that there is so much flexibility with the adjustments available to the free templates. It is so easy to turn something that is cookie cutter into a beautiful, custom site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the way the free URL's are configured, I find them to be required to be too long and awkward so I always have to make a tinyURL of my sites.

Wix is great for displaying content to my customers and easily creating new leads with a clear and concise contact form and ability to book things through my website.
