Easy drag and drop website builder
What do you like best about the product?
They are consistently introducing new and innovative features that are code-free and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not good for complex e-commerce sites and there are some restrictions in terms of design when it comes to customize or switch templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a quicker and cheaper solution than other website builders, which works perfectly for clients with a very tight schedule and budget.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in a tight schedule and need help in creating a design, Wix’s templates are an easy solution.

Super friendly interface and administration, great design.

Interoperability with 3rd party tools is lacking (walled garden approach).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating stunning websites really fast with zero coding. Sometimes also useful for setting up quick mocks that look like a real product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out Wix Code, it’s supposed to unlock a lot of previously closed or static functionalities (haven’t tried it yet but looks promising).

What do you like best about the product?
Quick to learn but powerful. The templates allow you to quickly find a look and feel for your website and then simply modify to fit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to see special pricing for non-profits.

Wix allows you to create websites without a web development team. The features are robust and there are many templates that let you build something visually appealing without too much fuss. The benefit is the ability to quickly launch a website and get to market fast. The websites are also mobile friendly.

Experiment with it! Have some fun. Wix is super powerful, so don't be afraid to just keep trying and building and see what you can create.
Worth the Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I used Wix to update and maintain a website for a company. It was simple to update, and enabled us to build a clean, clear, well-working website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the components were a little glitchy (moving buttons around, etc). That tends to be the case with these "build your own" websites though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to update and maintain your own website is great, especially when only minor changes need to be made.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Depending on the level of traffic you expect to come to a website, this is a great option for small-midsize businesses.

On any PC or Mac, the backend can be very slow and glitchy.

Intuitive, simplistic, and sharp
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is extremely easy to use. Anyone who can point and click a computer mouse should be able to use this program. Wix offers a wide range of templates to choose from, which helps people who don't really know what they're looking for in a website. It provides a solid foundation for you to visualize your data and make necessary changes to customize your personal look and feel. Getting started and creating your own website is simple and free.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, the mobile website manager felt clunky. It gives a fairly accurate preview of what your website will look like, but the preview was shaped like a phone screen (which I totally get), but from a designing perspective, I would prefer a larger screen and area to work with before I preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We we're seeking a program that would allow multiple users to access and edit pages. In addition, we wanted the program to be user friendly- something that anyone can pick up with little working knowledge of web design and content creation. Wix facilitated this process.

Create a website and see how you like it! It's free! You only have to pay if you decide to upgrade to the premium version.

This website allows you to make a beautiful looking site with minimal web development skills.

I dislike the customization abilities it offers, but overall it does exactly what you need.

Needs more flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Wix is easy to use and update.

I wish there were more options for adding or deleting graphic elements.

Wix helps us maintain an online presence that we can update often. It has helped boost attendance at our events.

I love how easy this is to use. It has such a variety of editing abilities and the way it seamlessly optimizes your mobile view is awesome. I have been able to do so much more with my website in a shorter amount of time than I ever had been able to before.

When I originally started using Wix I had a great coupon offer. I am not real fond of the continued yearly cost. However, I have continued to use it even so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was unable to do all of my website design myself before Wix. I could do much of it but had to have help for some of the more advanced edits. Wix has completely eliminated the need for me to request additional assistance in designing/maintaining my website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great program, especially for those of us who are not as programming savvy when it comes to CSS and website design. For more experienced users it may prove frustrating to not have the flexibility to program your own CSS.
