Wix is an easy tool to utilize at all experience levels
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Wix offers many design options so that you can find a website design that suits your needs. Its interface is really easy to use, so you can partner with other employees to input content and they don't need to have any web experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
While templates are great, they can sometimes be restrictive. Simple changes can be a lot more complex in that environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a great way to get fast, quick websites up and running with very little design experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a great tool to create quick websites for a variety of different needs, however its not the best recommendation to use for clients or larger companies because of certain restrictions.
Ease of Use has it's limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I found the website designer to be very much like creating a PowerPoint presentation, which is something that I do every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked to have more flexibility and choice in fonts, sizes, arrangements, colors and shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a services web site to generate awareness and be the base for our social media campaign.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a good starter web site that you as a business owner can use to get up and running quickly. You may want to have your own stock photos ready. Their free selections are limited.
Wix for Client Website
What do you like best about the product?
Wix has a ton of free templates you can use. Loved that!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about the site! The site is so user friendly with the dray and drop feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was able to create an easy and simple site for a client.
The BEST wysiwyg website builder, bar none!
What do you like best about the product?
WIX is truly a dream to work with. If you want to nudge your element over by one pixel you can! If you want to change one word in a paragraph to a different color you can do it right there on the page! WIX makes it easy to break out of your stylesheet without custom coding. You can build as many sites as you want for free, then upgrade to a paid account when you're ready to launch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you pick your template, you're stuck with it. It's not possible to change to another template. When you're building a website for someone else and transfer the site to the other person's WIX account, the images all stay linked to your account. The site still looks fine, but the images live on your account, not the client's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have built many WIX sites for clients and employers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
WIX is definitely the wysiwyg editor that I would recommend for building a website, whether you know what you're doing or you're a complete novice. Pros won't feel so limited and beginners will feel at ease creating a site.
Good Product for Non-Technical Users
What do you like best about the product?
Getting a site up and running is very easy. Pages are straightforward to build. There are many building blocks that provide what you would need for most sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding custom HTML or other code snippets does not work as well as in other CMS. Integration with HubSpot is poor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an affordable web presence.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the easiest way to set up a website that you will ever come across. There is no better platform if you are trying to make an eye-catching and user friendly website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a single thing. I only dislike that everyone doesn't use WIX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to run an online store for the smaller quadrant of our business through WIX and have a personalized website for that specific area of customers, which means a great deal to them and helps us stand out within an over-saturated industry.

Good Platform but 3rd Party Restrictions
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use platform. You can really put your imagination to the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Restrictions to 3rd party apps. These guys just wants to sell their own apps and so ditching 3rd party integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website designing. You can put your mind to work and get it in live.

3rd Party Integrations are very important for any growing business. Ensure the ones you are using are supported in Wix.
Very easy to use, yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Quite powerful and a lot of options to choose from. There are a lot of different apps that can be used and loaded
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always intuitive. It can take a long time to get formatting right and ensure everything is setup correctly. When designing my own sites, it's not uncommon for it to take a long time to get everything set up exactly as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up my own site to do some of the ecommerce side of things. I set up my own site for a club I ran at a university, and also for an ecommerce site I was setting up on my own. As one who had not done any programming myself, it was nice to found a product that enabled me to get everything up and running very quickly.
Simple, Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I was tasked to use Wix in order to make edits to a freelance client's website in summer of 2017. While neither myself nor the client had much experience in the platform initially I found it relatively simple to make edits, clean up code, and set up tracking for paid social ads which I also ran for the company. I also really enjoyed the look of the final product, the pages were clean, simple and got results.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small learning curve, especially with navigating pages and settings for each one. I ended up having to google some answers, as the help desk could use some improvement. Also the SEO aspect could use some help as well. I struggled making effective SEO changes to the pages and had some issues with share text updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Paid social tracking is the big one. We needed a way to accurately measure conversions and conversion value from our Wix pages which was pretty simple and seems to work with no issues! Also because the client was a restaurant there was a large focus on their photography and the quality that those images would appear on the site. I'm happy to report there was no major loss in quality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While it's not insanely difficult you will need at least some basic web knowledge in order to not hit a brick wall in using Wix. Also google and youtube are your friends when troubleshooting, as the help experience could stand to get some improvements.
Great drag and drop website builder.
What do you like best about the product?
Works great if you are designing a website for a small project or personal website. It's fully drag and drop website builder which is very user friendly. I like its inbuilt SEO feature and it really works to show our website on top pages of google search on related keywords.
What do you dislike about the product?
It didn't support java script so I can't add my marketing automation software code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is simple and helpful tool to create a website by using drag and drop feature. We have two website on wix and they are working very fine also I can customize it at any time I want. Secondly it has so many inbuilt element to build a responsive and attractive website. Also had so many plugins available for live chat, SEO, Lightbox etc.
