Good for people who have difficulty building websites
What do you like best about the product?
I like that is it super user-friendly. I feel like anyone could use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is a little clunky for people used to other things, like Wordpress
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are building a website on an easy platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Personally, if you have the capability to build a website elsewhere, build it in Wordpress instead.
A great site to make a website
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. There's no need to know any jargon for web design or any kind of coding. Anyone who wants a site can have a site without having to go to a college or courses. I also like how I can create more than one website on Wix and the editing for each site isn't complicated at all. I like how Wix thought of normal people who want a website instead of expecting everyone to know HTML and CSS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The options given for the category of a website can be a bit more of a wide range. The site can be updated a bit in terms of User Interface and User Experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am creating a website for my new dance school for Classical Dance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be shy to start using this website, it's really easy to use and really worth it in the end. Try out the priced version as well, it really does make a difference.

What do you like best about the product?
I really don't like any part of Wix. If you want an e-commerce platform then Shopify would do it. If you have a business then spend five minutes learning WordPress or JOOMLA.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix has very poor analytics and tracking options, you can't accurately capture Conversion Tags via Google, support has been less than helpful and even if you just want a blog I'd avoid this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often people pay me to move their websites to a different platform, usually because they can't do what they need with Wix.

I like the price point of Wix. Their fees truly can't be beat.

Customer service is almost non-existent with them. Whenever we run into problems, they essentially defer you to a user-based forum that never has the answers that you are looking for.

My honest thoughts on Wix are that it's perfectly fine for a basic website , for people on a budget, or for people who are new to building websites.

Easy and Affordable for Quick Website
What do you like best about the product?
It's great for someone like me that has minimal knowledge of html coding, but would still like a good-looking site that is optimized for mobile as well. The free plan has plenty of features to get your site up and running, complete with a great selection of themes, image display options, blog features, visitor analytics and options to make your site ecommerce ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
The con is strictly for the free version, which makes it a great incentive to purchase a plan. 2 words: Wix advertising. Not only is the option to use your own url not an option, but you are stuck with wix.com attached to your url and a created with Wix banner at the bottom of your site. I'd use the free version as a way to try out the site and then if you are pleased with it purchase a plan, which has a lot of other great features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a quick easy, temporary site to showcase some of my design work. For that purpose, Wix has served me well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use free version as trial and consider springing for a plan. I think the site will look a bit more professional without Wix.com language all over it, especially if you lack the knowledge to create a website the traditional way.

Ease of platform use and the capabilities -- plus, WIX is always offering tutorials for their customers!

There isn't a thing that I don't like about WIX.

WIX - Good at Everything - For you and your clients.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about WIX it the simplicity of the CMS and the ability to share the CMS with others so they can manage things for themselves after initial deployment. Very shallow learning curve - literally almost anyone can manage it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like all of the tech tips and help files, but sometimes you just want to talk to a human, and that could take a little time.If you have an e-comm site you're building, opt for a higher level plan so you can get "human" support.

Easy for everyone to do updating to the websites - keeping everything current. WIX has all the latest and greatest tools you would ever want for a website build. Plus, you'll be up and running in no time.We have used Wordpress before but it is very difficult to maneuver and the interface is very awkward to work in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go crazy - make a bunch of sites and experiment with ALL their tools! Narrow it down to what you like and then refine it. Also. if you can - HIRE A GOOD DESIGNER to help you. Most can be done on your own but a design will smooth out the rough spots.

True customization is limited. The integration with other tools is somewhat limited.

I started using Wix when I first wanted to build a website. It was a great way to learn.
WIX- well known and simple.

Easy to use, anyone can set up their own website without any need for coding or any previous experience. There are lots of cool website template designs. Solid support as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the editing features aren't super easy to use and the layout isn't as aesthetically pleasing as some other similar sites. Difficulty in switching templates. Not the best for e-commerce.
