Very user friendly and good pricing for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Wix provides very versatile website templates that you can use to build your site or to get inspiration when starting out as a new business. Because they offer a free option it was easy for us to test out several options and see what worked.
What do you dislike about the product?
After getting a website design started you like, it can be more difficult to switch it to a new host if needed. It doesn't present as easy of options to start an online store as other hosts do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was very fast and simple so that we could have a website up and an online presence before we even launched our storefront
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to take advantage of trying it for free but recognize there are other hosts that may have better tools depending on your industry

the options compared to squarespace were not that good.

I prepared for myself a website - to show off my portfolio and advertising campaigning skills.

I can't hate on Wix, it really helps someone with no experience get setup

It's limiting beyond the beginner aspect, and working within it as a designer and developer, trying to update a clients site, was a bit limiting, but still great software!

Was able to update clients sites before migrating or even evaluating their current sites in wix before transferring over to a different service.

I love the templates so many to choose from easy to use no problems. Can upload my own pictures or use the photos they have available. it is free

unable to place photos in a file for easy access can only upload one photo at a time.

What do you like best about the product?
For those that don't have the time or patience, Wix is a great way to get started on creating and developing websites. With hundreds of preset options, Wix can create a beautiful website with minimal effort. If you'd like something more personalized, Wix has those options as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many Wix websites end up looking the same simply because of the preset layouts and minimal personalization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and effortless websites can be created with minimal staff involvement.
Excellent builder, Would not recommend over Wordpress
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ease of use. I can teach clients how to go in and manage their site themselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited wix app store. Wordpress offers endless solutions with their plugins and Wix falls flat on their face here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We offer wix site builds to clients with lower budgets or who are looking to take management in house. We can create extremely beautiful sites in half the time thanks to the wix builder, however, the functionality pales in comparison to Wordpress.

What do you like best about the product?
When I originally started using Wix I liked the simple stylistic approach that the site builder had. Wix was good at producing clean, simple templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not impressed by the layout of the back end of things. Trying to set up a website wasn't the most user friendly at first. It took more time to try and learn the program than seemed worth it. I went on and looked at the site for a bit of a refresher and it seems like they have made a handful of changes to the admin interface and are possibly moving in the right direction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using Wix to try and develop a website for my photography company. I wanted to use a site builder that would make setting up and launching my website easy and quick.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would give it a try just to see if it something that would work. Each site builder is different and a lot of it comes down to personal preference and how an individual works. I tried at least 4 different website design sites before finding one that fit my needs, my style, and my working style.

I like that you can customize basically everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes quite a bit of time to get everything exactly how you want it to look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to build my brand and website to the aesthetic that I want.

Amazing tool to design web with drag and drop
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is highest notch. It allows to design your own, or to use amazing templates to create you website. You dont have to have any experience in web design and for low price you get top notch website. Its amazing what wix is offering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is high in a long term perspective and custom solutions are not easy to implement. As far as I used it, it seems that webpages are a bit slow and doesnt meet markets benchmark of loading quicker than 3s.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I represent small company which can not afford creating website from scratch and this tool doesnt require any knowledge to create amazing looking web which increases CR.

If you are not looking for website for next 10 years, this solution is the best. From search engine optimization, UX, conversion rate optimisation side it is very easy to use, implement changes and make look your page is worth 10 grant.
Better than Before but Not Squarespace
What do you like best about the product?
WIX has updated its marketing and SEO options. Very easy to use. Step by Step instructions and as an SEO, they cover most of the bases. The IU is far more advanced than a few years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am limited in creativity to change pages, images, and layouts. It all seems predetermined and not easily customized unless injecting custom code. Not a fan of the way you find "edit site".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have clients with pre-existing WIX sites, and I am forced to use the site they previously paid for to optimize it. The new SEO steps are helpful and the ability to input code easily in advanced settings heps a lot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find the platform that is the most user-friendly for you! Wix, Weebly, and Squarespace are all pretty easy to learn.
