Wix is Wonderful
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can customize basically every single thing on the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how You have to pay for some images, and that they need more variety of photos/videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a new website, to have a more modern look. We really love how easy we can make a sleek site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you implement pictures of your own and stay original!

User friendly web platform
What do you like best about the product?
Premade templates if are in a hurry to get something up and running
What do you dislike about the product?
Tough to make edits/move things around in templates -- not as user friendly as one would hope at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a web presence/digital face for the business that was not previously there
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great program if you are a beginner or in a pinch -- I have not used as many of the custom elements that are available
Super simple to use -- great looking templates

It's basically impossible to eff up a site on Wix.

Limited customization, I wish there was a little more capability. Also, I hear bad things about SEO, but haven't fully finished implementation yet.

Personal portfolio and blog sites, blogging.

Use it if you're looking for a simple, fail-safe way to create a really good looking website. It's really inexpensive for what you get.
Wix is more powerful than most people realize
What do you like best about the product?
Plenty of templates to start with. Clean, professional designs. An amazing amount of plugins to add on. More SEO friendly options than most other similar web builders. 2nd only to WordPress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to share some files in my account with multiple clients like photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving clients problems of outdated websites by providing modern, mobile friendly versions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are building a website and aren't proficient in WordPress, Wix is your best alternative (in my opinion). Easy to use for anyone with little to no web design experience but has a little creativity. There are other similar options and I have built websites on a number of them and I find Wix superior to them all.

I love that Wix also you to create a great looking website for free! It's relatively simple to use and quick to learn. Adjustments are easily made.

The collaborative features should be improved; it can be difficult to have more than one party working on a site.

Making different sites for different purposes.

Although, the price is the most attractive feature of the product, Wix always gets the job done!!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and affordable for people who own small businesses. The templates add a user friendly feel without making the website seem elementary.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs more templates and a larger selection of fonts and colors for people who would like to add that extra pop to their website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps small businesses save money by being able to affordably create website. There are a few options for people who can't afford more expensive websites.

I highly recommend especially for mall businesses.
Convenient and Easy! Paying is a tad lengthy though :/

The ease of use. They are continually making their site easy to use to anyone who isnt tech savvy....and even for people who are as well!

I recently paid for a Premium account and it was a bit of a long process. After the intial purchasing process, there was a lot of extra things to do to get a domain name which was a little tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I dont like that some of the apps are initially free but once you use them so much that they are no longer free! It's a bit misleading.

Expect to pay for a premium site when going into it.

The website templates were easy and userfriendly as far as designing

The price per month for premium was more than I had expected

I created a Wix website to allow me to have my own domain for my small business.
Wix is incredibly intuitive and looks crisp.
What do you like best about the product?
Learning how to use Wix took less time than learning other sites. It's also nice that prepackaged templates can be totally customized easily to fit the needs of your project, so you're never stuck with a design you don't like.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about Wix to this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently helping a self-employed business owner get a site put together. Using Wix, we have been able to make her site have varying designs on pages, all with a cohesive overall brand to tie them together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've tried multiple site-building services, and Wix is far and above the easiest to learn. Within an afternoon, I was able to build multiple pages and report back to a client including the layout she wanted so we could move on to other edits. The mobile view is easy to adapt as well.
