Easy use of this tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, basic and intuitive. Easy to modify and change pages as you wish

Can't do everything you want, complicated to add credit card details

I like how easy it is add items to a site, with a good explanation of how to add different types of titles

Sometimes things can be incongruent or uneven when you design them and change when published. Would prefer if things would auto align easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me a pretty SEO friendly simple pretty site for a good price. I can make changes myself in minutes instead of going through a slow expensive service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you are properly using the SEO features.
Super Easy Builder
What do you like best about the product?
I can get a professional-looking website up and live within an hour if needed. Lots of flexibility without needing to know HTML or any coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain limits (like scrolling pop-up text boxes can't be created) but I usually can find a suitable work-around within the tools provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Wix for corporate sites as well as small product sites.

You do not need any coding skills or experience in building a website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality needs improving. It would be great if there were more options for forms.

It is an affordable solution to quickly create a custom website.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, and beautiful template designs. I looked at all the competitors, and came back to Wix.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could adjust coding at times, but probably better they restrict that from me.

Awesome website, super affordable.
Good Product, Frustrating Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is an excellent 'drag n drop" website builder. It delivers on it's promise: Beautiful websites that anybody can build. The builder is pretty intuitive and doesn't have much of a learning curve. I'm really impressed with how far Wix has come in recent years, a majority of people paying for Wordpress developers would be better off with a Wix (or competitor's) solution. Ease-of-use is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix uses an "ecosystem" strategy that is maddening as a marketer. They use low pricing on the site as the acquisition bait, then try and strongarm you into buying all of their other offerings; email marketing, scheduling tools, etc. They actively prevent you from implementing scripts for competing marketing tools. This is a problem, because many of their add-ons are mediocre, and limit your ability to grow the business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharp looking, responsive websites quickly and affordably.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you simply need a website, incredible tool. If you're trying to build a lead generation machine, consider the limitations of an ecosystem strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface and the customize able templates
What do you dislike about the product?
On the free version the banner for Wix at the bottom looks tacky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to create a personal website which allows me to have gallery which features my work. People can directly contact me after viewing my gallery which leads to an easy conversion.
Wix is perfect for website building for those of you that are html challenged.
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is super easy for website building for those not able to use wordpress or html5.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point is really too high in my opinion.

Wix provides a good platform for people that cannot code or utilize a more barebones concept for website building.

The price point was the main issue for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the ability to choose and easily customize templates with a single click and drop. Making my site beautiful only took me a few hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the limited amount of templates to choose from--overall, I was still very happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, I created a resume with Wix. The benefits are endless--I was able to showcase my portfolio and writing samples easily.
Extremely limited functionality, but semi-easy to use.

WIx's drag and drop interface is easy to use and makes customization a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Where to begin. Support is a nightmare. Very few 3rd party integrations without buying something additional. No multi-user options. Very limited URL forwarding options. Horrible if you're trying to migrate content from another site to Wix (in vice versa). Embedding content can be a huge headache and Wix puts all the blame on the 3rd party apps, not their own platform. They claim to optimize your site for mobile, but I've spent hours editing the mobile versions of our site because Wix does not translate our website to mobile very well. It's illegible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a website to host content. Wix lets us do this and customize how the content is displayed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your website is VERY simple, Wix might be a good option. For example, for a restaurant. If you need 3rd party integrations or have a bit more extensive needs, PLEASE choose Wordpress.org.
